Conspiracy Of The Year

You just cannot make this up;
From the Baltimore Sun: A group of 14 McDonald's employees from the Baltimore area are still convinced they were winners in the massive $656 million Mega Millions jackpot drawing earlier this year — despite being told otherwise by lottery officials — and are claiming that a co-worker defrauded the Maryland Lottery to avoid sharing a payout with them....
As the hype grew and the news media began staking out Wilson's home, Wilson held a bizarre news conference and eventually said she lost her ticket. Days later, lottery officials announced that the real holders of the winning Baltimore County ticket were three public school educators they dubbed the "Three Amigos."
The group's lawsuit says Wilson did buy a winning ticket as part of a lottery pool the co-workers were in and that she and her lawyer, Edward Smith Jr., orchestrated an elaborate ruse to recruit the educators and trick the Maryland Lottery into believing they had won rather than Wilsonhttp://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/bs-md-mega-millions-lawsuit-20120929,0,205950.story
I think it will take a  competent judge 30 seconds to throw this case out of court,

Obama Campaign Lies About Number Of People At Rally

Of the LVRJ: Obama was cheered on by about 11,200 supporters spread across the lawn at Desert Pines High School, according to his campaign's official crowd count.
 http://www.lvrj.com/news/obama-visits-las-vegas-171964601.html
So, the LVRJ writer relies the Obama campaign for official numbers?  How lazy is that of the writer.
There were maybe half that number at the rally, around 6000.  Hell, I heard an Obama official say they had 10,000 and now they say they had 11,200.  Where did the extra 1,200 come from?  Probably from where the other 5000 people came from.  From someone's imagination?
Apparently, other media are also reporting the lie.  The Las Vegas Sun and Channel 13 are also reporting the lie.
And the national is also believing the Obama campaign numbers.  Why?  Do they believe Romney campaign estimates in crowd numbers?  I doubt that.

Old Ref's Back, And They Suck Like The Replacements

The regular referees and officials came back this week and guess what, they made mistakes and damn near cost the Green Bay Packers the game when they missed an obvious fumble.
Nothing has changed from week 1 to week 4.

Umm, You Are The Worst Piece Of Scum

From Fox News: Convicted D.C. sniper Lee Boyd Malvo said in a newspaper interview published Sunday that the devastated reaction of a victim's husband made him feel like "the worst piece of scum."
Malvo expresses remorse in the interview with The Washington Post and urged the families of victims to try and forget about him and his partner John Allen Muhammad so they can move on. Tuesday marks the 10th anniversary of the beginning of the deadly spree in the Washington area carried out by Malvo and John Allen Muhammad. The pair has been linked to 27 shootings across the country, including 10 fatal attacks in the Washington area.
Malvo, 27, told the Post in a rare interview that the look on the face of victim Linda Franklin's husband right after she was shot stands out in his memory of the rampage. Franklin, a 47-year-old FBI analyst, was killed as she and her husband loaded supplies outside a Home Depot in Falls Church, Va.
"They are penetrating," Malvo said of Ted Franklin's eyes. "It is the worst sort of pain I have ever seen in my life. His eyes ... Words do not possess the depth in which to fully convey that emotion and what I felt when I saw it. ... You feel like the worst piece of scum on the planet."
It's really too bad that the Post interviewed him because it gives him attention and brings up new painful memories.
And yes, Malvo, you are the worst piece of scum on the earth, and that is being kind.

American's Choke In Ryder Cup

From ESPN: Erasing some of their worst Ryder Cup memories, the Europeans wore the image of Seve Ballesteros on their sleeves and played their hearts out Sunday at Medinah to match the greatest comeback in history and head home with that precious gold trophy.
Europe got its payback for Brookline, when the Americans roared back from the same 10-6 deficit. This rally was even more remarkable, carried out before a raucous American crowd that began their chants of "USA!" some three hours before the first match got under way.
Jose Maria Olazabal squeezed his eyes and fought back tears when Martin Kaymer holed a 6-foot par putt to beat Steve Stricker and give Europe the point it needed to keep the cup. This was the first Ryder Cup since Ballesteros, the soul of European golf in this event, died in May 2011 of a brain tumor. Olazabal wanted his team to wear navy blue, Seve's favorite color, and added a clever touch -- his iconic silhouette on the sleeves of their shirts.
"This one is for all of Europe," Olazabal said. "Seve will always be present with this team. He was a big factor for this event for the European side, and last night when we were having that meeting, I think the boys understood that believing was the most important thing. And I think they did."
Tiger Woods missed a 3½-foot par putt on the 18th hole, and then conceded a par to Francesco Molinari of about that length to halve their match. That extra half-point made it a clear-cut win for Europe, 14½-13½..
http://espn.go.com/golf/rydercup12/story/_/id/8445412/2012-ryder-cup-europeans-snag-improbable-victory
Simply put, Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker choked during the tournament.  Hopefully, in 4 years, they will not be on the team.
But, the Americans choked today, especially when they had a big, 4 stroke lead when they started this morning, and it is an embarrassment to USA golf.

The Obama Rally: What Really Happened

The family went to the Obama rally tonight and here is what I observed.
First, we go to the area round 2:45 and when we tried to park in some handicapped parking places promised by the Obama campaign, we were turned down by Metro.  We saw numerous older and disabled walk from Freedom Park to the school.  I saw numerous people in wheelchairs, using walkers and walk with canes.  Clearly, the Obama campaign did not anticipate the number of disabled and they really screwed up in this manner.
From Freedom Park, we had to walk to the end of the line and the end of the line was on Parkhurst and Washington, at least 1/2 mile or longer line.  Most people who waited in line were in line at least 2 hours to get in.  We had some Obama volunteers come by and state to us that we would not be able to get into the rally unless we gave them our name, phone number and e-mail address.  A lot of people were ticked off at that and I am sure they got a lot of false information.
Except there was 1 problem with what the Obama volunteer said.  No one ever collected our ticket.  All the volunteer and the Obama campaign wanted was our personal information- very dishonest.  Further, the campaign said you needed a ticket to get in, but no one was checking tickets, so anybody could have gotten in.  The most frustrating part of standing in line was seeing all the people who cut in line just because they could.  Is this your typical Democrat?
While were sweating line, I did meet Steven Horsford, candidate for Congress.  He seemed like a nice guy and it was nice to see a politician shaking hands with people and he was the only person I saw, so, goo d for him.
When we finally got into the park, after waiting for about 2 hours in line, they took our cool water and exchanged it for some very hot water.  Apparently, the people running the show doesn't know how to cool down water- you don't put the pallet of water in the sun, you put it in the shade.
As for the speakers, Dina Titus, candidate for congress spoke, but she did not receive much of a reception, even when she spoke in Spanish first.
Surprisingly, Shelly Berkley as mentioned just once and Horsford and another guy running for Congress, john Oceguera were not mentioned at all.
Th rally started with a prayer, which kind of surprised me followed by a beautiful rendition of the national anthem.
There were many families in the crowd, which was kind of nice and there was an even mix of whites, blacks and Hispanics.
There was a Mexican rock band there and most people, especially the Hispanics enjoyed them, but the Blacks in the audience pretty much ignored them.
The creepiest moment was the music that came on just before Obama spoke.  They were love songs and sang about how much we loved him, Obama.  That part was very creepy.  I have supported a lot o candidates in my time, but I would never say I love them or adored them.  Instead of uplifting, rally music, the Obama campaign played love music.
Obama was introduced  by a daughter of an illegal immigrant and she spoke the liberal talking points and to be honest, she was not that good of speaker.
Then the President spoke, but surprisingly, hundreds of people, if not a thousand people, walked out while he was talking.  What was the point of seeing the president and then walk out when he is talking?
The worst line of the night by Obama was telling us how nice the weather was.  Obviously, he didn't understand that most people stood in line for hours in 100F degree temperatures to see him,and that most people were were not thrilled about the weather.
There were about 6000 people at the rally, even though the Obama campaign was saying they had 10,000 there.  Still, that was far more than I expected.
Finally, at the end, Metro police made us park at Freedom Park the cops were standing at the intersection for several hours.  Then, as soon as the president's motorcade left the building, so did the cops, causing huge traffic problems by Freedom Park.  Moron cops.
All in all, the rally was all about Obama and none of the other candidates, which surprised me.The standing in line for 2 hours or more was unacceptable and it ticked off a lot of people.
As a Republican, this is the kind of rally I would like to see Democrats have.  Other than Obama, there was not much of a rally.
Finally, not one 1 speaker thanked those of us who stood in line for hours for being there and then waited in the heat to them speak.  That is extremely rude and arrogant.
So, I don't care what the media says about the Obama rally, this is what really happened.

Oh, We're off To See the Wizard, Err Obama

Oh, were off to see the Wizard President Obama at Desert Pines today.  We're not going as supporters of Obama but supporters of the office.
I'll write up what I see, understanding that I am going as a guest of the Democrats, so unless the things that are said are off the wall, I'm not going to take offense to it.
So, it's off to see the wizard and maybe get an Obama phone.

This Is Just Cruel

Time For Impeachment: Muslim Obama Bows Down To Taliban

From Bob Owens:

A man inspired and mentored by the terrorist who plotted to bomb a non-commissioned officers dance at Fort Dix has now found his own unique way to get American soldiers killed: deny them the mobility, confine them to base, and strip away the close air support that provides the U.S. a critical advantage against an enemy that knows the terrain like the back of his hand.
I wish I could say I was surprised, but all I feel now is rage.
First, because of the recent green on blue incidents or “insider threats” as the new buzz phrase dictates, all coalition forces in Afghanistan have completely stopped partnering with the ANA, AUP, and ALP in order to prevent the death of anymore CF casualties by ANSF or Taliban disguised as them. This is also greatly spurred by President Karzi’s indifferent attitude and lack of action to take measures to prevent further insider attacks.
Second, because of this massive change in policy (and complete change in mission) all U.S. forces are forbidden to actively patrol their AO and are to remain on their respective COPs/FOBs. There are only a few exceptions to this rule and they all pertain to “hardening” highway 1 in our AO. We have received orders that clearly state that all CF will no longer be allowed to drop air to ground munitions within the country of Afghanistan. This preempts Karzi’s announcement that will be made shortly that states the above mentioned order, making it a tactical directive that he is ordering.
The soldier that wrote this letter goes on to note that the Obama Administration has confined our men to their combat outposts (COPs) and Forward Operation Bases (FOBs). The country has been conceded to the Taliban on orders from the Obama Administration.
Worse, our  feckless Commander in Chief has effectively abandoned our soldiers in-country, with no mission, no mobility, and no supporting firepower. The Close Air Support wing of America’s combined arms doctrine—which has saved countless lives—has been done away with in an entirely political move. He has made our military sitting ducks, allowing the Taliban to set up ambushes like that which attempted to kill Britain’s Prince Harry.  http://www.bob-owens.com/2012/09/treason-at-1600-obama-denies-airpower-to-u-s-forces-in-afghanistan/
If this is true (and we are relying on a service member, not a member of the media or another source), then this would be horrible for the service people in harms way.  Obama is putting the wishes of the Karzi government, the government responsible for many of our soldier's deaths.
The soldier and service members in Afghanistan need all of our support and that includes air and ground support and if Obama doesn't want to give it, then he needs to leave office and let someone competent to run the White House.

Obama Bribing Defense Companies About Upcoming Layoffs

Oh my, If George Bush did this in 2004, the liberals would be preparing the gallows.
From Fox News: The Obama administration has doubled down on its plea to defense contractors not to warn employees about possible layoffs due to looming budget cuts --  going so far as to offer to cover legal fees in compensation challenges.
The move drew a stern rebuke Friday from South Dakota Republican Sen. John Thune, since federal law requires employers to give notice if mass layoffs are likely.
"For the second time, the Obama administration has now encouraged government contractors to ignore the WARN Act and hold off on warning employees about possible layoffs due to the looming sequestration cuts,” Thune, lead author of the Sequestration Transparency Act, said Friday.
The offer to pay the legal fees was included in a memorandum issued by the administration Friday that also restated the Labor Department's position from July that contractors should not issue written notices to employees because of the "uncertainty" over the across-the-board cuts to the defense budget and other federal spending that will occur Jan. 2 unless Congress reaches a new deal.
The notices are required under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act and generally require employers with more than 100 employees to provide 60-day notices of "mass layoffs if they are reasonably foreseeable."
The projected $500 billion in Pentagon cuts under the so-called sequestration will occur because Congress failed to agree on a deficit-reduction plan this summer.
The guidance issued by the Labor Department this summer stated "it is neither necessary nor appropriate" for federal contractors to issue the warnings.
The memorandum states the federal government would cover employee compensation under the WARN Act – "irrespective of the outcome" as long as the contractor follows the Labor Department guidelines.
Still, defense contractor Lockheed Martin -- which might have to lay off employees should the cuts kick in -- is still considering whether to send out the notices, according to The Hill newspaper.
So, the Obama administration is telling the companies to break the law and will pay any punishment fines the companies receive.
Just another reason for Obama to be impeached.
And the lap dog media just laps it up.

Tiger Chokes Again, But Amecians Still Lead

Greatest Golfer In The World?  Maybe in years past but certainly not now.
Tiger Woods is playing in the Ryder Cup (Americans vs Europeans) and so far, he is 0-3. losing again today.
From ESPN: Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley helped stake the Americans to their biggest lead in the Ryder Cup in more than 30 years. Ian Poulter, eyes bulging and fists shaking with every clutch putt, at least gave Europe some big momentum over the final frantic hour Saturday at Medinah.
Right when it looked as if the Americans were a lock to win back the cup, Poulter birdied his last five holes to win a crucial point and keep everyone guessing. Steady chants of "USA! USA!" gave way to snappy serenades of "Ole, Ole" as both sides trudged to the team rooms in darkness to prepare for 12 singles matches on Sunday.
The Americans still had a big lead, 10-6. Europe at least had hope....
Only one team has ever rallied from four points behind on the final day -- the United States in that famous comeback at Brookline in 1999. Olazabal remembers it well. He was in the decisive match when Justin Leonard rolled in a 45-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole.
Is the Spaniard a big believer in fate?
"I believe momentum will come our way," Olazabal said. "Why not tomorrow?"....
U.S. captain Davis Love III put Tiger Woods -- winless in the Ryder Cup for the first time going into Sunday -- in the anchor position against Francesco Molinari, whom Woods beat in Wales last time.
The final two matches Saturday were a showcase of what the Ryder Cup is all about -- one brilliant shot after another, birdies on every hole, suspense at every turn.
Donald and Sergio Garcia were on the verge of blowing a 4-up lead to hard-charging Woods and Steve Stricker, hanging on when Donald matched two birdies with Woods, including a tee shot into the 17th that plopped down 2 feet from the cup.
Woods and Stricker lost all three of their matches, even though Woods made five birdies on the back nine for the second straight day.  http://espn.go.com/golf/rydercup12/story/_/id/8438347/2012-ryder-cup-us-commanding-10-6-lead
Hopefully, the Cup will not come down to Tiger Woods, otherwise we will have to give the Cup to the Europeans.
But with a 4 stroke lead, the Americans should easily win the Ryder Cup.  But it will be fun to watch because it is the most exciting golf you will see the entire year.  You will most of the worlds best golfers playing for their country/continent and the pressure is intense.  Some will handle the pressure and others will not.  Obviously, Woods is one of those, sadly, that is not handling the pressure.
Good luck to the Americans tomorrow.
