Two home invaders were shot by a homeowner in the northeast Las Vegas valley Tuesday morning, leaving one dead and another in critical condition, Las Vegas police said.
Officers responded to the 3800 block of King Palm Avenue, near Alexander and Pecos roads, just after 9 a.m. A homeowner said two people were trying to break into the home.
The homeowner confronted the two, a man and a woman, and shot them both, police said.

Sadly, there are people in the United States, like President Obama, who would not like for this homeowner to protect himself from these 2 thugs.
But thankfully, the homeowner was able to protect himself with a gun and now 1 thug is out of the gene pool and the other will be out of commission for a long time.
Good shooting to the homeowner and good riddance to the male thug and hope his partner soon joins him.

U.S. Women In World Cup Final

The United States defeated Germany 2-0 in the Women's World Cup semifinal on Tuesday night in Montreal.
Second-half goals from Carli Lloyd and Kelley O'Hara were enough see the U.S. through to the final, where they will meet the winner of Wednesday's clash between England and defending champions Japan.
Neither team were able to break the deadlock in the first half, with Julie Johnston and Alex Morgan going close for the United States.
Just short of the half-hour mark, play was stopped after the U.S.'s Morgan Brian clashed heads with Germany's Alexandra Popp in the American penalty area. I watched the entire game and the U.S. pretty much the better team this day.  The U.S. got lucky with the penalty kicks.  Germany missed a penalty kick even though U.S. goalie, Hope Solo was completely fooled but the German kicker completely missed the net.
The U.S. penalty kick was close to being outside of the penalty area and could have been just a direct free kick.  The U.S. 2nd goal was 100% legitimate.
Now, I have ripped on soccer for years and I still think it is a boring game, but there was a collision between a German and U.S. player as they both tried to head the ball.  Both players were down for several minutes and both were in a lot of pain, with the German player covered in blood from a large cut to the head.
But both players showed they are extremely tough as both returned to the game within about 10 minutes of the collision.  Many college and pro football players wouldn't be able to come back after that kind of hit, and they play with helmets.

Bus Strike In Milwaukee

This will be interesting, especially with one of the larges festivals in the U.s. is happening right now.

Bus drivers for the Milwaukee County Transit System will go on strike for 72 hours beginning Wednesday morning, union leaders and transit system officials said after an all-day mediation effort Tuesday failed to break an impasse on a new labor contract.
No additional talks are scheduled this week.
All MCTS service will end at 3 a.m. Wednesday when drivers and mechanics intend to stop work and begin walking picket lines, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 998 President James Macon said Tuesday.
Drivers are expected to return to work Saturday, Macon said.
Tens of thousands of Milwaukee County residents will be scrambling to find a way to get to jobs, medical appointments, grocery stores, Summerfest and Friday's lakefront fireworks, a transit system spokesman said. The company will not replace drivers with managers or others in the interim.
The strike's effect on attendance and business at Summerfest will depend on how long it lasts, said Don Smiley, chief executive officer of Milwaukee World Festival Inc.
About 15% to 20% of Summerfest attendees travel to the festival on MCTS buses, as do many of the festival's employees, especially hundreds of workers ages 16-17, Smiley said at a news conference Tuesday evening.

Confederate Flag Stupidity Continues

Trouble is afoot in Hazzard County.
Warner Bros., the studio behind the TV show "The Dukes of Hazzard," has decided to cease selling products featuring the Confederate flag.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson said the company will no longer license replicas or vehicle model kits based off the General Lee, according to a Vulture exclusive. In "The Dukes of Hazzard," the iconic car had a Confederate flag painted on its roof.
"Warner Bros. Consumer Products has one licensee producing die-cast replicas and vehicle model kits featuring the General Lee with the confederate flag on its roof - as it was seen in the TV series," the spokesman told Vulture via email. Yeah, This Won't Work Out Well

From ESPN, NASCAR: Daytona International Speedway will implement a voluntary flag exchange program this weekend for any fans flying a Confederate flag during the track's traditional Independence Day race weekend.
DIS President Joie Chitwood said Tuesday that because fans had purchased tickets and the event is so close to happening, he would not change the flag policy for this weekend. First, there will probably be more Confederate flags being displayed int he infield and in the parking lot at the speedway than at any other time.
Further, if someone does participate in the flag display, just like gun exchanges, the speedway will probably get some beat up old flags that people don't display anyways and they will get a new U.S. flag in it's place.
Many times, in gun exchanges, the cops will get old beat up old guns that barely or don't work and in exchange, they get a gift certificate or some other prize to turn in junk guns.

JJ Watt Takes Down Moron At Zac Brown Concert

The Houston Texans star annihilated a guy who jumped on stage at a Zac Brown Band concert Sunday at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisc.
The staged incident was straight out of the WWE, but who cares? The video of Watt taking down the dancing fool is still impressive.
Watt posted the video on Twitter, writing “Nobody messes with @zacbrownband.”
The same can be said of the two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

The Next Financial Disaster?

Everyone is talking about Greece and they be in default of some loans but there may be an another financial disaster right in our own back yard.

Puerto Rico’s governor, saying he needs to pull the island out of a “death spiral,” has concluded that the commonwealth cannot pay its roughly $72 billion in debts, an admission that will probably have wide-reaching financial repercussions.
The governor, Alejandro García Padilla, and senior members of his staff said in an interview last week that they would probably seek significant concessions from as many as all of the island’s creditors, which could include deferring some debt payments for as long as five years or extending the timetable for repayment.
“The debt is not payable,” García Padilla said. “There is no other option. I would love to have an easier option. This is not politics, this is math.”
It is a startling admission from the governor of an island of 3.7 million people, which has piled on more municipal bond debt per capita than any American state.
A broad restructuring by Puerto Rico sets the stage for an unprecedented test of the U.S. municipal bond market, which cities and states rely on to pay for their most basic needs, like road construction and public hospitals.

That market has been shaken by municipal bankruptcies in Detroit; Stockton, California; and other cities, which undercut long-held assumptions that local governments in the United States would always pay back their debt.
Puerto Rico’s bonds have a face value roughly eight times that of Detroit’s bonds. Its call for debt relief on such a vast scale could raise borrowing costs for other local governments as investors become more wary of lending.

Outrageous: Illinois Releases black Thug Cop Killer

Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin understands why police officers are angry the Illinois Prisoner Review Board has ordered the release of the killer of a Chicago cop.

The board voted 8-6 Thursday to free Joseph Bigsby, who was serving a sentence of 100 to 200 years in prison for the 1973 murder of Chicago Police Officer Edward L. Barron.
Police Supt. Garry McCarthy called the decision a “travesty.” The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation said the decision was “disappointing.”
“I appreciate their strong feelings,” Suffredin said Friday. “But he served 42-plus years. That’s not a slap on the hand.”
Suffredin has a personal stake in Bigsby’s case: He was the lead public defender at his trial in 1975. The other public defender was John Cullerton, now the president of the Illinois Senate.
Over the years, Suffredin has attended parole hearings for Bigsby at Danville Correctional Center, where Bigsby was imprisoned, although he didn’t attend Thursday’s hearing, which was packed by dozens of cops  objecting to Bigsby’s release.
Suffredin said he watched Bigsby — who was 16 when he killed Barron on Sept. 28, 1973 — grow from an immature teenager to a grown man who took responsibility for his terrible crime.
In prison, Bigsby, 58, trained as a carpenter and electrician. He was a few hours shy of receiving a bachelor’s degree, Suffredin said.
Prison officials “told me he was kind of a mentor who they would put with young people when they came in to teach them how to adjust to the penitentiary and not screw up,” Suffredin said.
“He’d really become one of the most impressive inmates in the Illinois system.”

The conservative jurist wrote a blistering, sarcastic, colorful dissent, saying his five fellow court members engaged in a "judicial putsch" by ignoring democracy in Friday's 5-4 decision declaring a constitutional right to same-sex marriage.
It even contains what might be the first legal citation of a hippie, inspiring a Twitter hashtag, #askthenearesthippie.”
"A system of government that makes the People subordinate to a committee of nine unelected lawyers does not deserve to be called a democracy," he wrote.
Scalia says the country was doing just fine debating same-sex marriage before the court trampled all over the process.
"Until the courts put a stop to it, public debate over same-sex marriage displayed American democracy at its best," he asserts.
"The substance of today's decree is not of immense personal importance to me," he writes. "It is of overwhelming importance, however, who it is that rules me. Today's decree says that my Ruler, and the Ruler of 320 million Americans coast-to-coast, is a majority of the nine lawyers on the Supreme Court."
Throughout the dissent, he mocks the logic and rhetoric of the majority decision's author, Justice Anthony Kennedy, accusing him of "mummeries and straining-to-be-memorable passages."
"The opinion is couched in a style that is as pretentious as its content is egotistic," he writes.
He continues, in a sure-to-be famous footnote: "If, even as the price to be paid for a fifth vote, I ever joined an opinion for the Court that began: 'The Constitution promises liberty to all within its reach, a liberty that includes certain specific rights that allow persons, within a lawful realm, to define and express their identity,' I would hide my head in a bag.
"The Supreme Court of the United States has descended from the disciplined legal reasoning of John Marshall and Joseph Story to the mystical aphorisms of the fortune cookie."

Roberts and Kennedy are afraid that the left will not like them and when they go to dinner parties, they are afraid they will be outcasts and the liberals will not like them.
Both Roberts and Kennedy want to be liked by the so-called elite and so they ruled these ways.
Roberts and Kennedy just want to be liked and that is why they voted they way they did in ObamaCare and gay marriage.  Nothing to do with being right on the law.

The Upside Of the Supreme Court Rulings

Well, there is an upside of the Supreme Court rulings about gay marriage and ObamaCare.
In 2016, there is a presidential election and these rulings are going to be a lightening rod for conservatives and put a damper on the democrats.
The Democrats made a lot of money off the gay marriage issue and that is now off the table.
The Democrats really don't like Hillary and she will forever tied to ObamaCare and gay marriage and will have to be on the defensive.
The Black community, even though they vote liberal and vote Democratic, will not go to the polls like they did with Obama.  For the most part, Blacks and Hispanics do not like gay marriage and they may vote for a Republican or at least stay home from the polls.
There will also be race riots this summer and next and there will be a backlash against these riots as well.
There will be a backlash against liberals in 2016.  we saw it in 2014 and we will see it again.  The reason?  The United states people are neither liberal or conservative and when 1 side gets too powerful, the people swing the other way.  In recent history, we went from Carter, a liberal to Reagan, a conservative.  Then GW Bush to Clinton.  Then back to another Bush and then to Obama, so history says a Republican will win in 2016.
And if the GOP wins and keeps control of the House and Senate, they have a good chance of taking back a couple of Supreme Court seats.  There are at least 2 justices, Ginsberg and Breyer who have 1 step in the grave and most likely won't last another 4-8 years.  I also doubt that the Republicans in the Senate will approve a liberal Supreme Court justice under Obama, but then the leadership in the GOP Senate are not the brightest Special Olympians in the bunch.
So, it is important that a true conservative win the GOP nomination and win the presidency.
However, the powers in the Republican are extremely stupid and they will find a way to screw things up.
It's what Republican leadership do.

Supremes Are Wrong...Again

Once again, the U.S. Supreme Court got it wrong again, this time, on gay marriage.
I have always said it is up to the states to decide if gay marriage is legal or not, not 1 judge, as is reality, this case, with Justice Kennedy being the difference.
One man decided the law of the land.
One man.  Think about that.
How is that any different than old Soviet Union or North Korea?
Actually, with the Soviet Union, they had the politburo made up of many men (were there any females on it, I honestly don't know) and decided what was right or wrong for them.
So, maybe we more like North Korea with Justice(?) Kennedy in the role of Kim Jong-Un.
Just one man (or woman) setting law in the States that choose not to have gay marriage.
And regardless of what the liberals and those support gay marriage say, it's not going to stop with this one ruling, the gay movement will not be satisfied until everyone is forced to accept gay marriage and that especially includes religious organizations, like the Catholic Church and other evangelical churches.  We see this happening right now, with the gay community demanding to be involved in religious activities like the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in NYC and other church related activities. 
And I fear that if a church or non-profit refuses to recognize gay marriage, the Federal government will step in and revoke their non-profit status or deny funding or ways the government can harass non-profits.  We've already seen this happen with the IRS scandal under Obama, so if Hillary gets in, we will probably be seeing this happen.
So, one man decided the law of the land and it is a shame and it is un-American, at least it used to be.

American Ninja Warrior Taping

Last night, actually, Tuesday morning, I attended the taping of American Ninja Warrior in Las Vegas.  It was the finals taping of Stage 1 and should air in September.
We got to the event around 11:45 PM and waited in line for about an hour before they let us in.  They let in all the athlete's family and friends in first and they occupied all the bleacher seating and let those with tickets to stand around.  Fortunately, in many instances, when the athlete finished, the friends and family also left and that allowed people to sit in the bleachers.
I stood in the area of the last 2 stations- an area where they had to run on 3 plastic circles and then jump up to some bars and then cross over to cargo netting and climb up and hit the buzzer.
When we got there, it took about 45 minutes before the first athletes came through.  There was some previous sessions and some of the workers were there since 5:00 in the morning.
The hosts, Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila were at the session and spent much of the evening in the announcer's box, but at times, they left the box and went to get some snacks and they did this while athletes were running.  My guess is that they will fill in the information later.  Unless they were on camera, these 2 rarely, if ever, talked to each other.  While they may have good chemistry together with each other, off camera, it may be something completely different.
The female host, Kristine Leahy, was a complete professional.  My first impression of her was that she was some kind of diva when I saw an assistant change and tie her shoes for her.  It seemed that she was being a diva or being lazy but I was wrong.
As luck had it, they decided to conduct the athlete's interviews right in front of where I was standing, with only a small fence between the athletes, Kristine and myself.  So, when the show airs sometime in September, I might be in a lot of TV shots, which I really didn't like or seek out.  It seems that no matter where I stood, they kept standing in front of me.  Considering I have a face for radio and I have very little emotion when cheering the athletes, this surprised me.  With people leaving, the TV people were getting desperate to find people to stand in back of the athletes during the interviews.
As I said earlier, I thought Kristine was a diva when her assistant changed and tied Kristine's shoes for her, but then I saw all the wires from the microphones on her back, I can see why she could not bend down and change the shoes by herself.  Kristine was very professional and I only saw her blow a line 1 time.  She had to memorize a lot of information in a very short time and treated everyone with respect.
The interviews were staged and usually occurred about 45-90 minutes after the athlete competed.  The male athletes were generally friendly towards the audience while the female athletes were pretty much full of themselves and loved to play for the camera.
We saw about 60 or so athletes compete in the 5 hours were there and about 60% of them successfully completed the course but the three female athletes, well, they didn't do so well.
While about 60% of athletes finished the course, some didn't even make it past the 1st stage.  2 athletes didn't go 5 seconds before they failed- probably nerves.
The show employed about 100 people at the venue.  The workers ranged from security, to assistants, cameramen/women, people cleaning the stages, directors, stars and many others.  Just for the interviews, they had a sound, light and cameraman, along with a director who told us how and when to clap and cheer and the star.  Every now and then, you would have a makeup lady giving Kristine additional makeup throughout the night.  I swear Kristine's face grew about an inch by the night was over.
There were about 100 or so athletes competing that night.  Most of them dressed in just a t-shirt and shorts, though others were shirtless or wore long pants. 
When the athlete completed the course, the athletes played for the cameras because there was only polite applause from the spectators.  Same with the interviews- they were staged as well.  The athletes were told how and when to go into the interview and some athletes threw water on their face to make it look like they were sweating or fell into the water.  Us spectators were told how and when to clap and cheer and several interviews took several takes, so we had to cheer and clap on cue several times for the same interview.
It was nice to see the families and friends cheering for their athlete, but once they were done and interviews were over, they pretty much left.  They also rarely cheered for other athletes.
A couple irritating things.  They never announced who the athlete competing was.  Also, not too many people came out for the show.  If you take away the friends and family of the athletes, maybe about 200 people showed up for the taping, which for Vegas, is like nothing.  They also did not provide very much seating for the people who came to watch the show and there were no souvenirs to buy.
So, it will be interesting to see how they edit the show and see if they leave me in some of the shots.
It was the first time I ever seen a TV show being taped.  It was quite interesting and look forward to seeing the episode and then return next year.

In addition, media and others have been calling for a “rethink” about things like the Jefferson Memorial, General Lee park, the Washington Monument, and even the American flag.
Should we at least include in the debate about things to be stricken from public view the several dozen public buildings, roads and bridges named after Robert Byrd, the Democrat West Virginia Senator who was before that a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan? Seems like the former Kleagle and politician who filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act should at least be in the mix of the discussion about people who shouldn’t be honored with taxpayer money,....
I imagine some Dems might defend Byrd the same way Bill Clinton did: By saying that he only joined the KKK to get elected.

Considering that the Democrats were the party of the KKK, supported slavery and currently, voted against the Civil Rights Bill and Democrats and liberals are currently running big cities where crime and poverty are killing far more Blacks than the KKK and plantation owners ever did due to their racist policies, I would think the Democrats and liberals would kind of back off demanding Confederate things to be removed.

I Pulled An Overnighter Last Night

Last night, I spent the evening and night in Las Vegas, attending a taping of America Ninja Warrior, Stage 1 in the finals.
I left Kingman at about 8:30 PM and got home around 8:00 AM.
I haven't pulled an overnighter, except for work, since I was a roommate with Barney Rubble when we were attending school to learn to work in a rock quarry.
I will give details later this day, after I wake up from my nap.

It's Not Your House, You Moron

So, you have a criminal who is invited to the White House and apparently the Secret Service probably was ordered to allow this illegal into the White House.  Then Obama gets upset when the illegal heckles the fool...err president.

Obama was interrupted shortly after beginning his speech to the crowd by a person who repeatedly shouted the president’s name.
“No, no, no , no. Listen, you’re in my house,” Obama told the person.
“You’re not going to get a good response from me by interrupting me like this,” Obama said.
But the heckler would not let up, despite Obama’s pleas, boos from the crowd and chants of “Obama! Obama!” The president became visibly irritated, and the woman was escorted from the room at his request.
“Shame on you, you shouldn’t be doing this,” he said.
The protester was identified as Jennicet Gutiérrez by the Not One More Campaign, which opposes the Obama administration’s deportation policies.

What's wrong With This Picture

The investigation started when Dr. Binh Minh Chung’s wife got suspicious and snooped through her husband’s text messages and computers, according to an arrest report released Wednesday. The wife found several videos of her husband having sex with other women and the underage girl.
Chung, a 41-year-old family practitioner, is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of using or permitting the use of a child for the production of pornography, according to court and jail records. His medical license has been suspended....
The girl, along with Chung’s wife, reported the abuse and videos to police on June 4, according to the arrest report.
Police have not released the girl’s age, but she told investigators that Chung was her family doctor and had convinced her to get treatment for acne. Sometime in July 2014, Chung picked her up from her home about 10 p.m. and drove her to his office for her third treatment, according to the report.
She received a shot in her arm and passed out, she told police, but kept going in and out of consciousness.
The first time she could remember coming to, the report said, the girl realized she was alone in an exam room, that her pants were off and that her feet were in stirrups. She lost consciousness again, the report said.
At another point she woke up and vomited.
When she fully came to, about 3 a.m. the next day, it was from Chung waking her up, according to the report. What parent, in their right mind, would allow a young girl to go with a doctor at 10:00 PM for acne treatment and not go with her?
While the doctor was certainly wrong, but he parent should be charged with child abuse/neglect and the children and all other children in the house ought to be removed as well.
The "parent" is not fit to be a parent and has shown she has little or no parenting skills.

ObamaCare Lives, Obama, Republicans Win, Public, Democrats Loses

In a disgraceful ruling by the Supreme Court, the Supremes upheld ObamaCare with a 6-3 majority.
Obama wins because this is his law and is responsible.
The Republicans win because they will use this ruling against Democrats in the 2016 and will probably will win the presidency and expand their majorities in the Congress.
The Democrats will lose because they will continue to lose seats in Congress and maybe in the State houses as well.
And of course, the public will continue to lose on this issue.
The good points on ObamaCare:
1. People can get insurance even if they have pre-existing conditions.
2. There are no life time limits on the amount of health insurance.
3. Children can be included in their family's insurance to age 26, I believe.
Those are the only good things about ObamaCare.
Now, the bad points:
1.  People who were working full time jobs now usually work part time, less than 30 hours a week.
2. Insurance premiums have increased significantly because of ObamaCare.
3. More people are now uninsured, about 30,000,000 or roughly 10% of the United State's citizens have no insurance.
4. Many people have lost their health insurance .
5.  Many people have lost their long time doctors because of ObamaCare.
6.  Wait times in ER rooms has significantly increased due to ObamaCare, even though Democrats promised a shorter wait time.
7. Subsidies are going to help bankrupt the country.
8. You still cannot buy health insurance plans across state lines.
There are many more ObamaCare disasters to list but the good points of ObamaCare help very few people, compared to the many more millions who have been hurt by ObamaCare.
The Democrats own the ObamaCare and they will have to defend it in 2016.

EMT Refuses Treatment For Infant Who Was In Cardiac Arrest

This is shameful.
From the Washington Post: A Detroit Fire Department EMT, less than a mile away from the home of an infant in cardiac arrest, refused to respond according to two internal investigations. The child was revived, but died later.
The 8-month-old infant was 0.9 miles away from the quick response SUV of EMT Ann Marie Thomas, but Thomas took six minutes to reach the incident and then parked her unit on a street corner away from the incident. Thomas told dispatchers unit "33 is in position on Pembroke around the corner from the scene," reported WDIV.
In the investigation report, Thomas told her boss, "I'm not about to be on no scene 10 minutes doing CPR, you know how these families get."
A supervisor, in the dispatch audio, is heard ordering Thomas, who was just a few streets away after a previous call, to get to the house. "Thirty-three, I’m going to need you to make that scene," said the Detroit Fire EMS supervisor. "You’re going to have to make patient contact."
Dispatch continued to update Thomas, the lead paramedic on Romeo 33. "Uh, Romeo 33? Updated information that the child is not breathing. The baby was hooked up to an oxygen machine because it was premature. Romeo 33?"
An ambulance, Medic 51, was also dispatched and given additional information. "Romeo 33, Medic 51, be advised CPR is being performed on your scene. Romeo 33, Medic 51. CPR is being performed by the baby's mother."
The ambulance transported the infant to the hospital where she was revived and then died the next morning.
"EMT Thomas was immediately removed from duty following this incident," said Edsel Jenkins, Detroit Fire Commissioner. "She has since filed an appeal. As a former volunteer EMT and firefighter, I find this former Detroit EMT's behavior disgraceful.  She ought to be charged criminally, though not with murder, probably, but some kind of felony.
But she won't as she is Black and the baby is also probably Black as well, because, after all, Black lives matter but only when the police shoot a black thug.  Not when Blacks kill other Blacks.

RIP Dick Van Patten

Dick Van Patten died today at the age of 86 due to diabetes.  I saw him play parts many times throughout his career but this is my fondest and funniest memory of Van Patten, From "Robin Hood, Men In Tights".

Senile Harry reid Shows He Is 100% Senile

No, Sen. Harry Reid is not calling on UNLV to change the name of the Runnin’ Rebels or get rid of Hey Reb! because they could be construed as a reference to the Confederacy.

In a weekly press conference on Capitol Hill, Reid was asked by a reporter how he felt about the university’s name in light of the recent uproar over the continued use of the Confederate flag by some state governments.

Reid responded, “I believe that the Board of Regents should take that up and take a look at it.”
News outlets quickly ran with the story, asserting that Reid was calling on university and higher education leaders to change it.

Obama confused his own situation with non-violent criminals in prison when speaking at the Thursday night event hosted by actor-producer Tyler Perry, USA Today is reporting.
"We should be reforming our criminal justice system in such a way that we are not incarcerating non-violent offenders in ways that renders them incapable of getting a job after they leave office," he said.
When the audience laughed, he reportedly took notice of the Freudian slip.
"Little slip of the tongue there. Tyler is going to give me job once I leave," he said.
Obama then reminded the crowd about a joke President Bill Clinton made in 1993 when he was giving a tour of the White House, and he said it was "the crown jewel of the federal penal system."

I Got Tickets To American Ninja Warrior

The family scored some free tickets to the filming in Las Vegas for American Ninja Warrior.  we will be going on June 25, the night they are filming the finals.
Since I have the face and body suitable to for radio instead of TV and a voice that makes young kids cry, I suspect I will bring the family down and we will be sitting in the far back, way away from the cameras.
But who knows, even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while we may be shown on TV.

Spike Lee And Others Do Something Obama Refuses To Do

In a merging of movies with reality, Hollywood filmmaker Spike Lee led an all-star cast in a march for peace throughout the streets of Auburn-Gresham Friday night.

The director whose latest project filming in Chicago — “Chiraq” — has drawn criticism from several city leaders offended by its working title, headlined the annual end of the school year peace march of St. Sabina Church.

Taking the stage to rousing applause, Lee said: “I’d like to say, you look beautiful from up here. What’s up Chicago?”

“You know why we’re here — we all want peace in Chicago,” Lee told the 500 or so area residents and members of community groups who turned out.

“Despite what you might read in the papers, I’ve gotten nothing but love from you, and I appreciate it,” he said. “You make me feel very good, and have given us a lot of support.

“As many of you know, we’re doing a film. We’re not going to say what the name of that film is tonight. Leave that out. But you know, I didn’t make it up,” he said of the city’s Chiraq nickname, drawing laughter. 

Lee brought a few friends along, including Chicagoans Jennifer Hudson and John Cusack, who both also addressed the community — Hudson in a brief, heartfelt plea on an issue that hit close to home, given the 2008 murders of her mother, her brother and her nephew.

“Y’all, we gotta stop the killing,”  she said, tearfully. ”We gotta stop. We gotta stop. I’m out here with my Chicagoans. We gotta stand for peace.”

Following Hudson, Cusack told the crowd they were all prophets.

“A Jesuit priest once said a prophet is someone who tells the truth, walks the walk, and pays up,” he said. “So everybody here by that definition is a prophet. The police are prophets. I've never have been a fan of Spike Lee, but at least and his friends are doing something President Obama refuses to do: Call for the end of violence in Chicago.

Obama had a chance to talk about the violence in Chicago and other big cities after the Charleston SC murders, but Obama punted and talked about the usual things: race and gun control.

Obama is a failed president and I think he realizes it when no one listens to him anymore.

Why Isn't This A Hate crime?

From the NY Daily News: The man wanted for attacking fourAsian women in Manhattan may be a suicidal artist and blogger who’s confessed to the crimes — claiming that he’s playing a game called “Bash Asian Women in the Nose,” police sources said Thursday.
“I had to do it,” Tyrelle Shaw, 25, wrote on his blog “Mr. Talented.”
The site is full of pictures of the lanky artist with celebrities like Russell Crowe, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, “Fast and Furious” actor Paul Walker, who was killed in a crash in 2013, and television judge Judy Sheindlin.
“History needed my reaction towards Asian Women,” he wrote.
In each case, a man tries to talk to an Asian woman, storms off then comes back and hits her in the head with a hard object wrapped in a plastic bag.
None of his victims was seriously injured.
Cops were given Shaw’s name on Tuesday, police sources said.
“We had been given his name by people who knew him and thought he was the one responsible for the attacks,” the source said. “In his blog, he pretty much confesses what he did.”
Shaw remained at large Thursday morning.
In his blog, Shaw claimed he targeted Asian women for violence because they ignored his romantic overtures.
“In less than 350 days, I talked to nearly 1,500 Asian Women and none of them took time out of their day to say hello,” he wrote in a post dated Wednesday. “I became furious. Charleston Church Shooting Thoughts

Yesterday, was a sad day in the history of Charlotte, North Carolina, when 9 Black members of a church were killed by white 21 year old man.
Some thoughts:  It was a tragedy.
But to put the killing perspective, I am willing to bet that at least 9 Black people are murdered in the United States each day by other Blacks.
Why isn't there any outrage over that?
The thug killer is nothing more than a thug terrorist and he should be given the death penalty.
President Obama gave a so-so speech about the murders and then he tries to bring politics into it by demanding stricter gun laws before the bodies are even released to their families.
And as usual, people are blaming conservatives, talk radio, NRA and the other usual culprits.- No, some punk thug killed these people and he is a lone wolf, unless someone helped him.  We don't even know his political views and at age 21, chances are he doesn't even have a real defined set of political values.  And if the conservatives, NRA, and talk radio are responsible for these deaths, then liberals are to blame every time there is a murder a big city, along with liberal talk radio.
It would be interesting to see where he got his views and why he decided to do the killing.   Right now, we don't know and probably won't know until there are court hearings.

Michelle Obama: Now Muslim First Lady

In a taxpayer paid trip, Michelle Obama has come out to be a Muslim.
From Breitbart: U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama travelled to the United Kingdom today, choosing to give a speech on female empowerment while surrounded by hijab-clad girls in the ethnically “diverse” London borough of Tower Hamlets.But the Commercial Road in Tower Hamlets, from where Mrs. Obama chose to lecture, isn’t ethnically diverse, and nor is the Mulberry School for Girls that she visited.
Tower Hamlets, which only days ago managed to shake off its Islamist-linked Mayor, boasts a Bangladeshi, Indian, and Pakistani, and otherwise Asian population. At the last census, in 2011, 39 percent of the population self-identified as Christian, while 36 percent identified as Muslim. The Muslim population of the borough is believed to have overtaken the Christian population by some way in the years since, with the next census not due until 2021.
And in Tower Hamlets, nearly 1 in 5 residents did not speak English as their first language, according to the 2011 statistics, opting instead for Bengali.
The Mulberry School for Girls, where Mrs Obama delivered her patronising ‘Let Girls Learn’ speech, is described in multiple Ofsted school inspection reports as having “nearly all students… of Bangladeshi heritage, with a very small minority from other backgrounds, including White British, Pakistani and African.”
And while the school has been rated as “very good” for a number of years, it has also played host to hard-left conferences sponsored by groups such as ‘War on Want’, which is closely tied to anti-Israel activities in the United Kingdom, the ‘Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament’ which has its roots in communist sympathising, and indeed the European Parliament.
The Mulberry Youth Conference boasts amongst its speakers Shami Chakrabarti from left-wing campaign group Liberty, now-deceased Labour MP Tony Benn, ex Labour MP Clare Short, editor of the Guardian newspaper Alan Rusbridger, anti-white racist columnist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, hard-left activist Owen Jones, and feminist campaigner Lucy-Anne Holmes. 
So why did Michelle Obama choose Tower Hamlets, and the Mulberry School for Girls?
She said she specifically chose the area, and asked the question aloud herself, during her speech: “Why would she choose Tower Hamlets? I’m here because of you,” she told the crowd.

“When I look out at all these young women, I see myself. In so many ways your story is my story,” she told the room full of hijab-wearing girls. “I know I don’t look [older than you all]”, she crowed. And then went on to praise the local area, which is known for being a hot bed of Islamist activity and sympathy.

She described Tower Hamlets as a place where “families are tight knit… with strong values”. Perhaps this is true. There has certainly been evidence of a very “tightly knit” cabal attempting to rule Tower Hamlets. And there are certainly strong values too. Almost half of Britain’s 1300 cases of Female Genital Mutilation last year were from London. Obama had a chance to call out the muslim religion and how they mistreat women in their society, like making muslim women 2nd class citizens, denying muslim women the same opportunities male muslims have, the hypocrisy of the muslim religion towards women and terrorism.
And I highly doubt, when Obama said “When I look out at all these young women, I see myself".
A muslim woman would never be allowed to travel by herself on a big airplane, surrounded by men who is not her husband.  I also don't recall Obama being forced to wear a hajib every day of her life.
So, Michelle apparently is a muslim wanna be or a muslim or just a complete fake and fraud.

Trump Joins The Dirty Dozen

No way will Donald Trump become president, but at least he will make things interesting.

“I am officially running for president of the United States,” he said from inside his signature Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan. “We are going to make our country great again.”
In a strong pro-business, pro-military speech, the unabashed Trump vowed to stop the Islamic State, keep Iran from building a nuclear weapon, repeal ObamaCare, build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, repeal President Obama’s executive orders on immigration and spend more on infrastructure.
“Nobody could be tougher on ISIS than Donald Trump,” he said in a roughly 45-minute speech, peppered with occasional, off-the-cuff remarks.  
"I'm really rich," Trump said while waving a financial statement that showed his net worth at nearly $9 billion. “And that’s not bragging. That’s the kind of mindset you need.”
Though he faces an uphill challenge in trying to win the GOP nomination, the 69-year-old Trump adds an undeniable element of surprise to the race.

He joins the field of 11 other GOP candidates, with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker expected to enter the race in mid-July and several other hopefuls still considering. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush announced his bid a day earlier.

And he could be an aggressive -- and interesting -- player on the primary debate stage, should he stay among the top-10 candidates in the polls.

Too bad he will never get the GOP nomination because a debate of Trump and Hillary would be such a 1 sided debate- Trump would kick Clinton's butt.
I think Trump would be a good president because he would treat government like a business and the guy has created 10,000's of jobs if not hundreds of thousands of jobs, so he knows how to produce, unlike Hillary who has created no jobs in her adult life, other than the paid employees at the Clinton Foundation Slush Fund.
But he has also put his mouth in his mouth more than once, he may not want to put a lot of his own money in the campaign and people may not want to donate campaign cash to a zillionaire and he has more than a few enemies.
But he will be more interesting than the entire presidential field put together.

NBA Finals Game 6 Prediction

I admit when it comes to the NBA, I wear a tin foil hat.
Tonight is the game 6 in the NBA Finals, Golden State Warriors vs the Cleveland Cavaliers, in Cleveland.
Here is my prediction:
Cleveland will win and force a game 7 and LeBron James will have another monster night.
Why are these my predictions?
The NBA is just step above the WWE for being a fair sport.  We all know the WWE is fake wrestling but the NBA comes a very close 2nd place.
A game 7 is worth probably close $100,000,000 in revenue to the NBA, the teams, TV, Las Vegas casinos, radio, the advertisers and others.  The NBA by way of the referees, will try to avoid the series to end tonight.
How can the ref's do this without appearing to obvious?  They can put Golden State players in foul trouble by calling ticky-tack fouls, they can slow down the game by calling traveling and other infractions they normally don't call, give LeBron superstar treatment but Stephen Curry and other ways.
The game is in Cleveland, so the ref's may not have to try very hard, but they are Plan B if it seems that Golden state is threatening to win the game.
I don't have a dog in this series.  I dislike both teams and I think both Cleveland and San Fran./Oakland are cesspools of cities.
One final prediction: No matter who wins/loses in Game 7, there will riots/lootings in both cities, especially Oakland, where it seems, they riot and or loot just about every weekend, just for kicks.
So, I think there will be Game 7 at Golden State, I almost guarantee it.
Update: Ok, I made my first mistake of the month- Golden State defeated Cleveland, 105-97, winning the NBA Championship.

Obama Disasters Continue

From the Boston Globe: For years, doctors warned federal immigration officials: Do not take your eyes off Santos Hernandez Carrera.
He had raped a woman at knifepoint and spent roughly half his life in jail, where immigration officials hoped to keep him until they could send him home to Cuba. As far as the public knew, the strategy worked: Until last month, the public sex offender registry said Hernandez Carrera, who has been diagnosed with a mental illness, had been deported.

He never was. Instead, the Globe discovered that Hernandez Carrera is in Florida, one of hundreds of immigrants convicted of sex crimes who should have been deported but instead were released in the United States because their homelands refused to take them back.

They are convicted rapists, child molesters, and kidnappers — among “the worst of the worst,” as one law enforcement agency put it. Yet the Globe found that immigration officials have released them without making sure they register with local authorities as sex offenders...
And once US Immigration and Customs Enforcement frees them, agency officials often lose track of the criminals, despite outstanding deportation orders against them. The Globe determined that Hernandez Carrera and several other offenders had failed to register as sex offenders, a crime. By law, police are supposed to investigate if such offenders fail to update their address within days of their release. But local officials said they did not learn that ICE had released the offenders until after the Globe inquired about their cases. 
“It’s chilling,” said Thomas H. Dupree Jr., a former deputy assistant US attorney general who led a 2008 federal court battle to keep Hernandez Carrera locked up. “These are dangerous and predatory individuals who should not be prowling the streets. In fact, they should not be in the United States at all.”
These released criminals are immigrants who were convicted of sex-related crimes and ordered deported, sometimes after serving a state or federal prison term. But if their home country will not take them back, ICE says they must release them after six months because the Supreme Court in 2001 barred the agency from holding immigrants indefinitely. Officials said they can detain such immigrants longer only in rare cases, such as when a detainee is ruled mentally ill and dangerous....Anyone searching New York State’s public sex offender registry for Hagie Kamara, 44, who raped a 12-year-old girl in 2001, might have been relieved to find out that he was still incarcerated. Same for Alberto Fernandez, 64, who served time for brandishing a knife at a 15-year-old boy in 1984 and raping him.
The Globe found those sex offender entries were wrong. Immigration released both men six years ago and they never showed up at their local police agency to register their new address. New York officials said immigration never notified them that the men had been released.

But hey, these are Obama voters, so they are just as innocent and morally decent of a baby lamb and would never hurt anybody else.  After all, they are just misunderstood.
This is just another example, out of hundred and hundreds of examples that Obama is the worst and most dangerous president in the U.S. history.

Atheist Finds Out If There Is An After Life Or Just Becomes Worm food

Anne Nicol Gaylor, a pioneering Madison businesswoman and abortion rights activist who was the principal founder of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the nation’s largest group of atheists and agnostics, died Sunday at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was 88.
The cause of death was complications from a fall. She had suffered a slight skull fracture, and there was some bleeding in the brain and heart arrhythmia, said her daughter, Annie Laurie Gaylor.
For decades, the elder Gaylor was the face and sometimes biting voice of the foundation, a Madison-based group that is one of the country’s most determined proponents of the separation between church and state.

Gaylor, in most Christian minds, was about equal to the devil.  She and her organizations would file lawsuits to get religion  out of the public, especially in government.
Perhaps, in the beginning, had some merit but then they went to the extreme.  Like trying to get crosses off of cities emblems like in Los Angeles and Wauwatosa, WI., Christmas trees out schools, crosses out public lands, trying to ban someone saying God Bless you, after someone sneezes....Well, maybe not the last one but saying team prayers before a game should be outlawed is just as crazy.
But, one thing I find ironic is that she died on the Lord's Day, on a Sunday.
Also, the hospice is far from being having atheist views.
I've always wondered why athiests don't leave the option that there is a god, no matter which religion they believe in.
But just think, if she is right that we are just life forms on earth, she won't know.
But if she is wrong, I cannot imagine the surprise and/or shocked look on her soul when she finds out there is a God and probably yell "Oh Sh#%^T" when she found out.

Chicago Blackhawks Win Stanley Cup

The Chicago Blackhawks won their 3rd Stanley Cup, defeating the Tampa Bay Lightening 2-0 tonight, taking the series 4-2.
Two thoughts:
1. A team from Florida should never win a hockey championship- it's just not natural.
And it's nice that the Blackhawks, named after Indians, have never kowtowed to changing their Indian name to please a bunch of bleeding heart liberals, who are ever feeling so outraged.
Just hope Chicago doesn't burn down tonight.
