They May Not Like The Message But He's Right

From Fox News: A Duke University professor was defiant after the school last week condemned his "noxious" and "offensive" words in a letter published in The New York Times in which he compared African-Americans unfavorably to Asian-Americans.
The school's rebuke came after a student backlash against Political Science Professor Jerry Hough, 80, whose May 9 letter sought to address racism and the Baltimore riots. Hough said African-Americans don't try to integrate into society, while Asians “worked doubly hard” to overcome racism instead of blaming it.
Every Asian student has a very simple old American first name that symbolizes their desire for integration,” he wrote on May 10. “Virtually every black has a strange new name that symbolizes their lack of desire for integration.”
Duke students and faculty blasted Hough last week, and the school told The News & Observer of Raleigh that he was placed on leave and that 2016 will be his last year at the school.
“The comments were noxious, offensive, and have no place in civil discourse,” said Duke spokesman Michael Schoenfeld. “Duke University has a deeply held commitment to inclusiveness grounded in respect for all, and we encourage our community to speak out when they feel that those ideals are challenged or undermined, as they were in this case.”
But Hough, in an e-mail to an ABC affiliate, said political correctness is getting in the way of thoughtful and frank debate.
“I am strongly against the obsession with ‘sensitivity,'" Hough wrote. "The more we have emphasized sensitivity in recent years, the worse race relations have become. I think that is not an accident. I know that the 60 years since the Montgomery bus boycott is a long time, and things must be changed. The Japanese and other Asians did not obsess with the concentration camps and the fact they were linked with blacks as ‘colored.’"
Hough even played the "Coach K" card, referencing beloved.  http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/05/19/duke-professor-responds-to-criticism-about-online-comments-made-regarding/
The professor is right.
The Japanese and most Asians were worse than Blacks around WWII and probably through the Korean and Vietnam War.
However, the Asians, both who lived here and who immigrated here have worked hard, both in their education and in their jobs.  They have advanced so far that now, Asians are now discriminated against, especially in supposedly tolerant California, when it comes to college admissions.
Blacks, on the other hand, have turned the inner cities into war zones, their education stinks, they live off the government and expect people to cater to them.
Of course, those are generalizations.  Not all Asians are perfect- some are in gangs and there are some on welfare.
And not all Blacks in the inner city are bad- some are hard working and do their best despite their horrible education in those liberal cities and some are not on government assistance or if they are on government assistance, some do get off.
But the professor is right, Asians have outpaced Blacks in general significantly in the past 70 years or so in their accomplishments and education.

Biker Fight Leaves 9 Dead

I'm pretty sure the cops didn't rush in to break up a fight between a bunch of biker thugs, as long as innocents were not in any danger.
From The Waco Tribune: Police now believe there were five gangs involved in Sunday’s deadly shootout at Twin Peaks in Central Texas Marketplace, and some were allied with one another.
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said police attempted to contact Twin Peaks’ corporate headquarters after the shooting, but said he is unsure of the content of that conversation.
Officials are continuing to comb the crime scene as of about 7:30 p.m. and weapons and even several dead bodies remain in the parking lot.
In downtown Waco, about 100 or more people were questioned at the Waco Convention Center by law enforcement authorities, said Senior Department of Public Safety Trooper D.L. Wilson.
Officials had also closed off several streets downtown, including the bridges spanning the Brazos River. Reports were trickling in Sunday evening of various restaurants and bars that were closing early because of the potential for more violence in the city.
Sunday evening, Twin Peaks tweeted: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and victims of the tragedy at franchise partner’s restaurant in Waco.”
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said part of the altercation that preceded Sunday’s biker gang shooting at Twin Peaks started in a restroom, spilled into bar, then into the parking lot.
At least two of the gangs were trying to do some recruiting in the area Sunday, and Twin Peaks was a known place for that kind of activity, Swanton said. Multiple law enforcement sources confirmed that the Bandidos and Cossacks biker gangs were at the center of the incident.
“In 34 years of law enforcement, this is the most violent crime scene I have ever been involved in,” Swanton said.
“There is blood everywhere. We will probably approach the number of 100 weapons.”
http://www.wacotrib.com/news/police/updates-police-believe-five-motorcyle-gangs-involved-in-deadly-twin/article_37addf70-e4e5-505a-98b4-ecbef08a2a87.html
The cops also said that a bunch of bikers headed towards Waco and they were arrested, with weapons on them.  For the cops, it was like shooting fish in a barrel- pull over every motorcycle riding gang looking thug and chances are they found some weapons and the thugs got arrested.
So, 9 thugs dead and not a huge loss to the DNA pool.

The Growing Stephanopoulos Scandal

From USA Today and Peter Schweizer:
If Stephanopoulos had disclosed his donations to the very foundation I was there to talk about, perhaps it would have put the aggressive posture of his interview with me in context.
But he didn't.
And even though he has apologized to his viewers for keeping this information from both his audience and his bosses, there is much that Stephanopoulos has yet to disclose to his viewers. Indeed, far from being a passive donor who strokes Clinton Foundation checks from afar, a closer look reveals that Stephanopoulos is an ardent and engaged Clinton Foundation advocate.
For example, in his on air apology for this ethical mess, Stephanopoulos did not disclose that in 2006 he was a featured attendee and panel moderator at the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).
He did not disclose that in 2007, he was a featured attendee at the CGI annual meeting, a gathering also attended by several individuals I report on in Clinton Cash, including mega Clinton Foundation donors Lucas Lundin, Frank Giustra, Frank Holmes, and Carlos Slim — individuals whose involvement with the Clintons I assumed he had invited me on his program to discuss.
Stephanopoulos did not disclose that he was a 2008 panelist at the CGI annual meeting which, once again, featured individuals I report on in the book, such as billionaire Clinton Foundation foreign donor Denis O'Brien.
ABC's most visible news employee did not disclose that in 2009, he served as a panel moderator at CGI's annual meeting, nor did he disclose that in 2010 and 2011, he was an official CGI member.
Stephanopoulos did not disclose that in 2013 and 2014, he and Chelsea Clinton served as CGI contest judges for awards, in part, underwritten by Laureate International Universities — a for-profit education company I report on in the book. Bill Clinton was on its payroll until his recent resignation.
Obviously, Stephanopoulos has favorable feelings toward Hillary and Bill Clinton; he gives their foundation his money and his time. Big-time news media personalities have one thing in very short supply — time. Regular participation in Clinton Foundation events shows a deeper commitment to the Clintons than just the donations.  http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2015/05/16/stephanopoulos-abc-clinton-schweizer-foundation-hillary-column/27436475/
No wonder people turn into Fox News more often than not.  People cannot trust the mainstream media and now, no one could ever trust ABC News.
ABC News needs to fire Stephanopoulos immediately because he won't quit because that is not what liberals do.  if ABC does not fire him, then ABC News has no creditability whatsoever, not that they had much creditability to begin with.

Yep, She Is Just Like Us

From ABC News: Hillary Rodham Clinton and former President Bill Clinton reported Friday that they earned more than $30 million combined in speaking fees and book royalties since January 2014, putting them firmly within the upper echelon of American earners as the former secretary of state seeks the White House again.
Clinton's presidential campaign reported the income in a personal financial disclosure report filed with the Federal Election Commission on Friday night. The report, required of every candidate for the White House, showed the couple amassed more than $25 million in speaking fees and Hillary Clinton earned more than $5 million from her 2014 memoir, "Hard Choices."
The earnings put the couple in the top one-tenth of 1 percent of all Americans.
While Clinton has begun her second campaign for president by casting herself as a champion for middle-class voters, she's long drawn criticism from Republicans about the wealth she and Bill Clinton have generated since he left the White House. That includes their ability to command six-figure fees for delivering speeches to corporations and trade groups, which the report lists in detail.  http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/clintons-report-making-25m-speeches-jan-2014-31083330
$30,000,000 in just over a year.
Hillary... just like us... if we were one of the 1%ers.

Of Course, He Was Playing 1st Graders Or The Physically and Ment lly Disabled

From the Chicago Sun Times:
Russian President Vladimir Putin is a scoring machine.
During an exhibition hockey game that clearly was on the up-and-up, Putin scored eight goals in his team’s 18-6 win Saturday in Sochi.
The game featured retired NHL players, and most of the 62-year-old’s goals came on assists from Pavel Bure and Valeri Kamensky.  http://national.suntimes.com/world-news/7/72/1131139/vladimir-putin-russia-eight-goals-hockey
And the opposing team's goalie probably faced 20 years in the gulag if he blocked any of Putin's shots.
Putin seems like he is taking a page out of the fool idiot from North Korea who has a bad hair cut, Kim Jong-Un.

Spoiled Firefighters

Image result for picture of crying baby
From WFTV, Florida:
A Seminole County commissioner who sparked controversy about a grocery run firefighters made is ignoring the backlash that blew up after Channel 9's story aired.
Since WFTV's story aired last week, more than 2,000 people have signed a petition asking Commissioner Brenda Carey to apologize.
The controversy started after Carey texted the Station 36 firefighters' superiors about them going to a Winn-Dixie less than a mile from their fire station while they were on the clock.
Tuesday was the first commission meeting since the story broke last week, but Carey again ignored speaking out about the controversy and instead praised the work of all emergency responders, according to Channel 9's Tim Barber.
Carey told Barber over the phone last week that she was just looking out for taxpayer dollars and the text was not meant as a complaint, although it eventually turned into one.   http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/seminole-co-commissioner-ignores-firefighter-groce/nmFMp/
This story appeared on Fire Rescue 1, a fire service web site and the spoiled full time firefighters acted like a bunch of spoiled babies, based on some of these comments: http://www.firerescue1.com/weird-news/articles/2167433-Firefighters-grocery-store-run-angers-politician/
If you don't want them going to the store then you provide their meals for them.

Steven Mayfield · Los Angeles, California
How about going to the store before their shift starts?

  • Chris-Trista Long
Steven Mayfield think about this they work 24 hour shifts. If they shope before shift or after shift that takes away family time for them. They were in their response area so I don't see a problem with them getting groceries

  • Bill Mason · Top Commenter · NWSCC
Steven Mayfield apparently family time and sleep aren't that important to ya. Firefighters work only (on average) 10 days a month, but that's equal to a month of 60 hour weeks because they run 24 hour shifts. Each house fire is equivalent to running a marathon in energy exertion, and with the current load of medical calls that most departments run, sleeping at the station is almost a thing of the past. Let them go get some grub and don't be an ass.

  • Our Wonderful National Weather service

Image result for picture of a tornado
Today, the National Weather Service was issuing tornado watches and a few warnings for possible tornadoes today, in the Texas Panhandle and surrounding areas.
Meanwhile, an actual tornado or 3 actually touched down in Wyoming, South Dakota and Minnesota.
They only issued warnings after the tornadoes were on the ground.
They never issued any tornado watches for these areas.
They probably said something to the effect "What the hell is this?  The tornadoes must have come out of nowhere".
What a bunch of incompetent boobs.

    Liberal Hypocrisy Once Again

You really have to hand it to liberals.  They could kill a person, apologize and they would think they all is all right with the world.
The latest hypocrite is George Stephanopoulos and his donations to the Clinton money machine that pays the Clintons millions, saying that he cared about certain liberal ideas and he pretended that the Clinton's money laundering machine was the only "charity" that could help his cause.
Even though Stephanopoulos was a complete partisan, as he was a Clintonite when the Clinton's were in office, the number 3 guy in the Clinton administration behind Bill and Hillary the liberals loved him to be part of the main stream because after all, the media is about 90% liberal.
And the other 10% of the media is Fox News, which is run by Roger Ailes.  Ailes also used to be a political operative for Republicans.
Well, the liberals vilify Fox News and Ailes and complain that because Ailes was a GOP operative, he is biased toward conservatives.
And liberals say that Stephanopoulos is fair and balanced and Ailes is not.
Again, no wonder that the average IQ of a liberal is around 10.
    And there is this:

    Black Lives Matter: Not

Silly you if you believe that black lives matter within the black community.
    From the Chicago Sun Times:
An 81-year-old great-grandmother was shot Friday night just minutes after viewing the body of her recently deceased daughter at a South Side funeral home.
Iola Burress survived being shot four times  but was due to undergo surgery Saturday, relatives said. Her 34-year-old grandson, Sylvester Burress, was also shot in the drive-by shooting in Auburn-Gresham.
“It’s very hard right now because we’re trying to bury her daughter and assist her and then this happens today during the wake,” said Yolanda McBride, Burress’s granddaughter. McBride’s mother, Laverne Burress, 60, is the daughter the 81-year-old was mourning.
Chicago Police said that Iola Burress and her grandson were standing outside in the 7800 block of South Carpenter when they were shot by someone who was in a passing white SUV.
The grandmother, who suffers from dementia, was shot in the right wrist and abdomen, while her grandson was shot shot in the hip, police said. They were both taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions were described as stable.  http://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/7/71/610803/two-shot-including-81-year-old-auburn-Gresham
In about 24 hours, there have been close to 20 shootings in Chicago and the  racist brothers and sister of Al, Jesse, Barack and Loretta say nothing about the shootings of a grandma, kids, infants and others in Chicago.
    Just pathetic.

    Amtrak Engineer Lawyers Up

Yep, going 106 mph in a 50 mph will make the train engineer to lawyer up.
From the NY Daily News: The engineer in control of the speeding Amtrak train that derailed in Philadelphia is a Queens man who's refusing to talk to investigators about the deadly Tuesday night crash.
Investigators said the engineer — identified as Brandon Bostian, 32 —had a lawyer at his side when he met with police for five hours on Wednesday, and he would not make a statement or answer questions.
His only comment came Wednesday night through his attorney Robert Goggin, who told ABC News Bostian had "no explanation" for the crash and no recollection of it either.
Goggin added that the engineer was "very distraught" after learning of the body count caused by the fatal crash.
Bostian told his attorney he had "no health issues" and was on no medications before the crash, and that he only remembers getting tossed around in the train and, some time later, finding his phone and calling 911. He suffered a concussion, injuries to both his legs and a head wound that required 14 staples, Goggin told ABC.  http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/doomed-amtrak-train-engineer-refuses-talk-police-article-1.2221181
Now, if there is case for involuntary manslaughter, this would be it, though it makes me wonder why the engineer was going so fast and if he was under pressure from Amtrak to be on time or be early on his run.
Or he could have been just lazy and not caring how fast he was going.

Hired One Minute, Fired The Next

Add this to the list of things you should do during a job interview.
From the Arizona Central: When Joseph Tomow showed up for an interview at a Prescott-area Denny's, police said he left with more than just a job.
The 21-year-old is suspected of taking a bag containing a large sum of money from the restaurant manager's office, according to the Prescott Police Department.
A Prescott police statement issued Monday said the bank bag was discovered to be missing shortly after Tomow finished his interview and was offered the job on May 2.
Tomow was located shortly after but authorities have yet to track down the cash.
Prescott police are asking anyone with information to contact the department at 928-777-1900.
Tomow is facing a burglary charge and has been booked into the Yavapai County Jail, the police statement said.  http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona/2015/05/11/prescott-man-accused-stealing-money-during-job-interview-abrk/27149409/
Maybe he thought he was going to get $15 an hour and they offered him less money, so he decided make up the difference by stealing the money bag.

As Usual, Ann Coulter Is Right

From Ann Coulter.com: Bloomberg News ran a happy news story this week about the "surprising" development of Republicans joining Democrats in their effort to end our "incarceration generation" by the simple expedient of putting fewer criminals in prison. (Lots of good ideas involve ham-fisted, Johnnie Cochran-style rhymes.)
And Bloomberg wasn't just talking about the media's usual lickspittle, Sen. Rand Paul.
Former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Texas governor Rick Perry have all called for "new" approaches to allegedly "non-violent" drug crimes -- i.e., any approach other than prison.
Perry says: "You want to talk about real conservative governance? Shut prisons down. Save that money."
Sen. Ted Cruz -- along with lickspittle Paul -- wants to end mandatory minimum sentencing. Yes, remember how much we trust judges to use their discretion wisely? The precise reason the public demanded mandatory minimums in the first place was because so many liberal judges had their own ideas about "alternatives to prison" -- such as, again, not prison.
Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee suggests that, instead of prison, the government should "address character."
Huckabee, for example, addressed the character of Maurice Clemmons -- a career criminal who said he was deeply remorseful and was trying to be a good Christian -- by granting him clemency. This allowed Maurice to rape a child and slaughter four police officers execution-style, in "the largest number of law enforcement officers killed by one man in a single incident in U.S. history," at least according to Wikipedia.
(On the bright side, releasing Maurice saved Arkansas taxpayers all sorts of money -- just as Perry predicted!)
Before sucking up to The New York Times, it would be really great if Republicans would read, so they'd know stuff.

Contrary to the assholery being pushed nonstop by the left, for example:
    (1) No one is in prison just for possessing a joint; and
    (2) So-called "non-violent" drug crimes that result in prison are generally committed by violent criminals.
Evidently, Americans need to patiently explain to elected Republicans -- who are too busy hanging out with their Chamber of Commerce friends to have any idea how the world works -- that no judge is going to waste prison space on a guy selling a joint.
According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics,
only 0.7 percent of all state inmates are behind bars for marijuana possession alone. Carnegie Mellon's Jonathan Caulkins puts the figure at less than half a percent.
And these are the convictions of record.
Our pro-criminal media invariably cite the conviction of record, as if that's the worst crime committed by the defendant. But, as the Times itself reports: "97 percent of federal cases and 94 percent of state cases end in plea bargains."
Do you think criminals are pleading guilty to the most serous offenses they're actually guilty of?
Defense attorney: The prosecutors want to charge you with murder one, menacing, drug possession and distribution.
Criminal: OK, I'll plead to murder one.
Defense attorney: No! We'll offer to plead to possession of marijuana.
Criminal: Oh! OK, OK, I see -- yes, you're right.
Show me all the wonderful fellows in prison just because they had a single joint. I want three examples -- and I want their names, so I can find out what they really did.
For years -- in fact, to this very day -- the left's poster boy for the monstrous injustice of the war on drugs was DeMarcus Sanders, whose life was ruined, so the legend goes, just because police found a single marijuana seed in his car.
And then you run a basic Google search and find out that DeMarcus was a known gang member who had already served time for shooting a rival gang member. After that conviction, DeMarcus was arrested again, for who knows what -- but copped a plea to possession of marijuana, the only charge we ever hear about in connection with his name.
Just a few months ago, DeMarcus was again sentenced to prison, this time after taking a plea to being "a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and ammunition," as the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier (Iowa) reports. (Incidentally, I thought we all agreed that known felons shouldn't be allowed to have guns.)
The reason so many plea bargains involve firearms and drugs isn't that those are the perp's main crime: It's because guns and drugs aren't human beings who can make lousy witnesses, leave the jurisdiction, die or be intimidated out of testifying. Possession offenses are the very least the prosecutor can demand in a plea bargain and the quickest way to get bad guys off the street.
Prosecutors know who the defendants are, and know what they really did. That's why those in prison for "mere" drug possession actually have a higher arrest rate for violent crimes than those in prison for burglary, robbery or even drug trafficking, according to innumerable studies, including
one in the Journal of the American Statistical Association.
You know what would be really great? Instead of Republicans impressing the media by taking "surprising" positions on crime, how about Republicans try surprising us by taking a position against Wall Street or the Chamber of Commerce and on the side of ordinary Americans?
       http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2015-05-13.html
Besides caving in on prison time, the House and Senate GOP members have also caved in to the Democrats, when they have control of both Houses, they have caved in on the Obama budget, ObamaCare, the Free Trade Agreement, the supposed treaty with Iran and so much more.
It is depressing to read that the GOP, who I have supported are now acting like liberal Democrats.
And it's useless to write about them because the GOP leadership just doesn't care.  And they are not going to change because they are bought and paid for by the GOP big donors.
And this is why I fear that Jeb Bush is going to be nominated by the GOP to be president and that is why they will lose again.
The GOP is now a party of liberal Democrats in drag, with Mitch McConnell and John Boehner playing the role of RuPaul.

    Bad Train Wreck In Philly

    From Philly.com:
At least five people were killed and more than 50 were injured when a northbound Amtrak train derailed Tuesday night in Port Richmond, Mayor Nutter said.
Scores of emergency personnel swarmed over more than a half-dozen toppled train cars, trying to reach injured and dazed passengers. Some people were reported trapped in the train, and crews were cutting into the cars to try to free the injured. Ladder 10 was the first to respond to the scene. When firefighters arrived, they found two people under the train, a fire official said. Train 188, bound to New York City from Washington, had stopped at 30th Street Station just minutes before the accident, which occurred near a curve near Wheatsheaf Lane and I-95.
Initial reports indicated the train derailed as it was entering the curve. Nutter, who hurried to the scene, said he and his aides had been on the tracks. "It is an absolute, disastrous mess," he said. "Never seen anything like this in my life." He said authorities had not determined the cause of the accident.
Based on what the news is saying, it would not surprise me if the train was going to fast.  My 2nd guess is that it may be terrorism.
Either way, it is a very bad scene and hope they don't find any more dead.

Another Cop Cleared In Shooting Black Thug

When do you think the Black community will sstop blaming cops for the problems in the Black community and start to realize that their problems are black thugs who infect their neighborhoods?
    From Madison.com:
Madison Police Officer Matt Kenny told state investigators he was most of the way up the narrow stairway of a Near East Side apartment home on the night of March 6 when 19-year-old Tony Robinson came out from his friend’s apartment and punched Kenny in the side of the head, knocking him into a nearby wall.
As Robinson continued swinging, moving toward Kenny and down the narrow stairway, Kenny said he fired at the unarmed 19-year-old, fatally wounding him. District Attorney Ismael Ozanne announced Tuesday the shooting was a lawful use of deadly force for which Kenny will not face criminal charges.
Robinson’s death sparked a series of passionate, peaceful protests that started on the night of the shooting. More than two months later, Ozanne’s decision was met with tense emotions and tears from Robinson’s family, as well as demonstrations against the decision.
Protesters and the teen’s family members had called for Ozanne to file criminal charges against Kenny.
Police were called to 1125 Williamson St. around 6:30 p.m. March 6 after Robinson’s friend called 911 to report that Robinson had taken hallucinogenic mushrooms and was “acting insane.”
Kenny was the first officer to arrive, and entered the home after he heard the sounds of a disturbance coming from the upstairs apartment and believed Robinson was inside assaulting another person, Ozanne said. Officers later learned Robinson was alone in the home.
After he was punched, Kenny said, he feared Robinson could knock him unconscious or seriously injure him on the apartment stairwell, take his weapon and use it against him or the person he believed was inside the home.
Within three seconds Kenny fired seven shots, each of which struck the front of Robinson’s body at close range, Ozanne said.
Kenny fired the final shot from just outside the home’s side door, about 20 seconds after he had entered, Ozanne said.
“This tragic and unfortunate death was the result of the lawful use of deadly police force,” Ozanne said. “No charges will be brought against Officer Kenny in the death of Tony Robinson Jr.”
    Read more: http://host.madison.com/news/local/crime_and_courts/madison-police-officer-matt-kenny-cleared-in-shooting-of-tony/article_428b0cf9-da97-5951-9936-2f699547ba3f.html#ixzz3ZzMVEgm2
This case was a slam dunk and there was doubt of the outcome.
The District Attorney is a very liberal person and I know it pained him to come up with this decision.
And you can tell that he thinks his political career is now over as he now has ticked off the liberal gods who thought he should have charged the cop because it was the liberal way to do things- charge criminally first then let the person defend themselves.
So, once again, a cop is found to be justified in shooting a black thug.
And according to liberals, like President Obama, it is the cops who are the problem, not the black thugs.
That is some very perverted thinking.

May Bad Month For Police Officers

So far, in May, there have been 6 police officers who have died on duty, including 4 officers shot to death, 1 died due to a heart attack and 1 cop who died because of a car accident.
From the Officer Down Memorial Page:
Officer Brian Moore, NYPD, shot to death: http://www.odmp.org/officer/22468-police-officer-brian-moore
Officer Eric Eslary. auto accident: http://www.odmp.org/officer/22469-lieutenant-eric-a-eslary
Sgt. Greg Moore, Coeur d'Alene Police Department, shot to death: http://www.odmp.org/officer/22470-sergeant-greg-moore

Sadly, the month is not over.
How many people, especially the racist brothers, are saying nothing about these deaths.
RIP to the officers and prayers to the family and friends of the officers.

    Wow!!

I am scared of some heights and watching this video, I was getting a little queasy:

To D Or Not D, That Is The Question.

I am having some severe teeth pain, which is one reason why I haven't done much blogging lately, along with a nasty cold.
But I have a dilemma, do I go to the dentist or not.
Of course, I should, but I will admit, I am scared to death of dentists.
About 15 years ago, I went for a normal dentist visit.  I had some cavitites and the dentist had to drill.
Well, to make a long story short, the dentist and his drill slipped and the drill went directly into my tongue, and it went almost all the way through the tongue.  Besides the tongue bleeding for a couple of days, I also lost my taste buds for about 8 months.
Eventually, I got over it.... after about 10 years.
So, about 5 years ago, I had to go to the dentist for sore teeth.
Again, the dentist drilled and some how, the dentist did not drill into the tongue but he made the fillings uneven and this caused tremendous pain, over several weeks.
I had to go back to the dentist not once, not twice but 3 times and each time, before I went in, I was again in tremendous pain because of the new fillings.
So, now, I have to decide if I want to go to the dentist.  I know I need some treatment, but do I need the treatment and will I have to endure more pain from a dentist's treatment gone bad?
So, do I go to the dentist or not?  I honestly don't know.

A Story Of 2 Government Agencies And How They Treat Women

    From Fox News:
None of the remaining eight female candidates going through the Army Ranger School made it out of the first phase of training at Fort Benning, Ga., defense officials told Fox News -- though they scored high enough to try again as early as next week.
The candidates were the first women to train for the elite force as part of a program that began in February.
While they did not do well enough to move on to the next phase of training, an Army Ranger statement said the eight women -- along with 101 men in the same situation -- will be "recycled," meaning they can re-do the training phase in an upcoming Ranger School session.
A total of 60 women were originally slated to participate in Ranger Assessment Phase (RAP), according to the Pentagon in January. The Army Times reported in February that 100 women went into the pre-training phase, and in April, 19 women qualified for the first training phase, known as Darby. Within days, that number was down to eight.
The next Darby Phase starts May 14, which is when the female candidates can try again. There are two more subsequent phases, for a total of 61 days in Ranger School.   http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/05/08/no-women-were-able-to-finish-first-try-at-ranger-school/?intcmp=latestnews
    And from FireHouse.com:
The FDNY for the first time in its history will allow someone who failed its crucial physical fitness test to join the Bravest, The Post has learned.
Rebecca Wax, 33, is set to graduate Tuesday from the Fire Academy without passing the Functional Skills Training test, a grueling obstacle course of job-related tasks performed in full gear with a limited air supply, an insider has revealed.
“They’re going to allow the first person to graduate without passing because this administration has lowered the standard,” said the insider, who is familiar with the training.
Upon graduation, Wax would be assigned to a firehouse and tasked with the full duties of a firefighter.
    Some FDNY members are angry.
“We’re being asked to go into a fire with someone who isn’t 100 percent qualified,” the source said. “Our job is a team effort. If there’s a weak link in the chain, either civilians or our members can die.”
Wax’s graduation comes as the city celebrates the FDNY’s 150th anniversary and as the department is under pressure by the de Blasio administration to hire more women.  http://www.firehouse.com/news/12070826/fdny-sets-to-graduate-woman-who-failed-fitness-test
So, the good news is that the Army Rangers will hold women to the same standard as men and if a woman cannot meet the standards, they will not become Army Rangers.
On the other hand, the Fire Department of New York City, with a very liberal mayor, is gutting their standards to be politically correct.  The FDNY is the biggest and the best fire department in the United States and they are dumbing down their fire department.
Congratulations to the Army Ranger and boos to the FDNY and the liberal of New York City who are trying to destroy a very fine institution, the FDNY.

2 Black Thugs Murder 2 Police Officers In Mississippi

Yes, I am going to say it:
Cops must treat almost all Blacks like criminals until they can prove they are innocent.
This sucks, I know, but when you have a incident like this, you just cannot trust many Black males.
    From the Hattiesburg MS. American:
Two Hattiesburg police officers died Saturday night after being shot during a traffic stop on East Fourth Street.
Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict confirmed that both officers had died at Forrest General Hospital. The names were being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Hattiesburg Police Department spokesman Lt. Jon Traxler said police are seeking Curtis Banks and Marvin Banks as suspects in the shooting that took place shortly before 8 p.m. near the intersection of East Fourth and Bouie Street.
Curtis Banks is from Hattiesburg. Traxler said he was unsure of whether the two were related and if Marvin Banks also was from Hattiesburg.
"The men and women who go out every day to protect us, the men and women who go out every day to make sure that we're safe, they were turned on (Saturday) night," Mayor Johnny DuPree said during a brief news conference outside the hospital. "But the person or persons who did this are not safe in the City of Hattiesburg (Saturday night)."
Multiple law enforcement agencies swarmed to the scene between Gordon Street and East Fourth Street, crisscrossing throughout the fringes of downtown.
At least one of the suspects took a patrol car from the scene before abandoning it just a few blocks away on the train tracks off Gordon Street.
Hattiesburg residents Tamika Mills and Pearnell Roberts discovered the two officers who had been shot. The pair got out to check on the officers and called 911.
"Never in my life have I experienced or seen anything like this except on TV and to be in the midst of it, it's shocking and heartbreaking," Mills said. "As we were coming down Fourth Street, we noticed a bunch of lights. As we came on through, (Roberts) told me to turn around because she saw somebody laying on the ground.
"So I backed up. That's when we noticed the officer was down. We just saw that one, but in the course of me being on the phone with 911, I turned and I saw another officer across the street rolling on the ground. (Roberts) ran across the street to check on him. He wasn't all the way alert but he asked her, 'Am I dying? I know I'm dying. Just hand me my walkie-talkie.' "
    http://www.hattiesburgamerican.com/story/news/crime/2015/05/10/two-officers-shot-killed/27076699/
2 police officers went to work, after saying good bye to their wife and kids and they will never see any of their love ones or their brothers and sisters in Blue, all because of a couple of black thugs.
    Cop's lies matter.
And will President Obama send a White House representative, like himself or Joe Biden, to the funerals of these officers?
As for the 2 black thugs, someone is hiding the thugs somewhere in the Black community in or around Mississippi and those hiding him, need to turn the thugs into the cops.
And perhaps we would be better off if these two thugs would just kill themselves by suicide now.
RIP to the officers and prayers for their families and their fellow police officers and their families.

Mayor Child Porn Scandal In North Las Vegas?

This is going to blow up, no matter what side of the political side you fall on.
    From the LVRJ:
Former Chief Joseph Chronister, who retired Thursday, said that while one of his detectives investigated, he now wishes his department had done a more and had sought help from an outside agency.
North Las Vegas Police got the case after the mayor asked the department for help removing what he believed to be child pornography from his personal iPad. A detective helped out, but didn’t check any of the mayor’s other electronic devices or press Lee on why his story didn’t make sense in light of evidence found, a police report filed last year shows.
Asked if anyone else would have been treated the same way, the chief said the short answer is no.
“We’re talking about the mayor of North Las Vegas,” Chronister said. “He is a person of authority. He is a person of power. He absolutely has the ability to control certain aspects of our department.”
That includes who the chief of police is. Chronister said that Lee, who took office in July 2013, told him last December that he had to leave the department by June.
A North Las Vegas police officer since 1989, Chronister said he and Lee have clashing personalities, and that Lee wants “bobbleheads” in government who never disagree.
Reached for comment Thursday, Lee said he wasn’t investigated for possession of child pornography — he was a victim. He said he contacted police because he was worried children were being harmed and he felt he should give them his iPad in case it could stop a bad guy.
But Lee’s version of the events doesn’t match the police report or Chronister’s account of what happened.
    PORNOGRAPHY FOUND
According to a report filed by Detective Mark Hoyt, another officer was at City Hall when the mayor approached him on Oct. 9, 2014.
Chronister said he was told that Lee “grabbed” the officer and said “he had an issue with kiddie porn popping up on his computer.”
A few days later, a detective who handles these types of cases called Lee. According to his report, Lee told him that someone sent him an email and that several images he thought were child pornography popped up and he wanted them gone.
The detective told the mayor if he found illegal content he could take legal action and would notify the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to the report. The mayor told him to go ahead and pick up his iPad.
The investigation lasted just one day, Oct. 20, 2014.
In his report, the detective said he found no emails having to do with pornography of any kind, but did find links to three pornographic websites in the iPad’s browser history. Two of the sites were not illegal, the detective determined, but the third showed pornography organized by the country where the images originated. He said the site looked illegal.
“I did locate several possible photos that could be considered child pornography but since they were in a different country, I could not verify the age of the people pictured,” the detective wrote.
That sentence confused Joseph Dooley, a retired FBI agent who previously ran Connecticut’s computer crimes task force. The Review-Journal contacted Dooley for his take as an expert in the field.
“If he thinks it’s child porn, it’s child porn. It doesn’t matter what country it’s in,” Dooley said. “That sentence makes no sense to me.”
He also questioned why the department waited so long to seize the iPad after the mayor told them it might have illegal content. It’s not unusual to wait to investigate a device, but it’s not proper to delay seizing it, he said.
“If you suspect you have child porn on the device that’s like having a kilo of cocaine sitting on your coffee table,” he said.
Hoyt declined comment on the case, but in his report he said he plugged the iPad into an FBI-owned computer that downloads everything but could not find the email Lee described.
Chronister said his understanding, based on conversations with the detective, is that the mayor’s explanation about pornography associated with an email couldn’t have happened as the mayor described.  http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/las-vegas/police-chief-north-las-vegas-mayor-got-special-treatment-child-porn-investigation
I have 2 views on this.
From the Mayor's standpoint: The mayor, it appears, was the one who contacted the cops and wanted his personal iPad cleared by the cops.  If he was guilty of viewing child porn, why would he do this?
And I am sure, it is possible, someone who hates the mayor, might have planted a virus on his iPad for some kind of revenge.
On the other hand, I have never had had a child porn e-mail or virus planted on my private e-mail.  And if it did happen, I would be to the cops trying to exonerate myself and demanding an investigation.
Either way, this seems to be a scandal that will not go away any time soon.  I am sure there will be some kind of state or Federal investigation that will now happen, if it isn't going on right now,

    Good For Them

I am more and more convinced that the Maryweather and Manny Pacquiao fight this past Saturday was a fraud and the fans were ripped off, especially since Manny admitted he has a serious shoulder injury and he will have surgery on the shoulder for a torn rotator cuff.
    From ESPN:
A class-action lawsuit was filed Tuesday on behalf of two Las Vegas residents seeking more than $5 million from Manny Pacquiao, his manager and his promoters for fraudulently concealing his injury before his fight against Floyd Mayweather.
The suit alleges that Pacquiao and his manager Michael Koncz, his promotional company Top Rank, its chairman Bob Arum and its president Todd duBoef, admitted that they knew of his shoulder injury after the fight, but failed to disclose it to the Nevada Athletic Commission as required by law. They also kept it a secret from fans who bought tickets to the fight, purchased the fight on pay-per-view and bet on the fight.
"Defendants prior to and at the time the plaintiffs and the class decided to purchase tickets; purchase pay per view showings or wagered on the event the defendants knew and had full knowledge and information that defendant Pacquiao had been seriously injured and was suffering from a torn rotator cuff," the lawsuit reads. "Defendants further know that such injury would severely affect his performance."
It is estimated that pay-per-view revenues could top $300 million, and wagers in the state of Nevada alone on the fight could surpass $60 million. Ticket revenues from the fight were expected to generate $72 million, though only roughly 500 tickets were sold to the public.
Although Saturday's fight lasted the full 12 rounds, with Mayweather winning by a unanimous decision, the question is whether the fight -- advertised as "The Fight of the Century" -- was properly promoted or whether it was a fair contest from the start. The plaintiffs argue that it was not and violated the Nevada Deceptive Trade Practices Act.  http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/12827249/two-fans-file-class-action-lawsuit-manny-pacquiao-undisclosed-injury
Besides, these fans should have sued Maryweather, Manny's trainers and handlers and especially, the Nevada Athletic Commission, which is probably the most corrupt organization in Nevada and possibly the country.
And it appears that Manny lied on his paperwork stating he no injuries, so I would hope many may start wearing one of these:

    Lazy Reporting

The following question was submitted the Kingman Daily Miner and the answer is nothing but junk:
Q: *Gas prices have gone up about 50 cents a gallon at some at gas stations along Andy Devine in the past month and especially the last 2 weeks. Is it because of price gouging or any other reason?
A: The AP, citing Triple-A, noted April 30 that gas prices are up across the state because crude oil prices have been increasing.
    http://kdminer.com/main.asp?SectionID=43&SubSectionID=82&ExpertID=2#qa0
Ok, oil just hit $60 a barrel today.
So, instead of news story on the local scene, the Ask the Editors rely  on a national AP story.
    http://www.wsj.com/articles/oil-prices-rise-ahead-of-inventory-data-1430818316
So, oil has gone up from $44 to $60 since March.
Does represent a rise of 60 cents a gallon at 3 gas stations and less rises in prices at others?
But the rise in gas prices doesn't address why there are lower prices, by about 15 cents at some places, at other gas stations on Stockman Hill Road?
Gas at the Maverick went from $2.19 in March and now the price stands at $2.85 and the same with the Flying J truck stop.  Other stations had gas on Andy Devine (Hwy 66) had gas from about $230 to $2:0 and now they are around $2.99 a gallon.
But on Stockton Hill Rd., gas prices run around $2.69 to about $2.79 at most places.
Up until about 3 weeks ago, Maverick and the Flying J were the cheapest gas prices int he Kingman area and now they are the highest.
So, why didn't the Daily miner actually get out of their office and actually do a story?
    A. They are either lazy.
    or
    B. They don't want to piss off some potential advertisers.
    C.  All of the above.
I pick c- they are being lazy and they are probably afraid of pissing off some potential advertisers.
So, the gas stations on Hwy 66 decided to raise prices just as the tourist season heated up and now they are screwing the locals, who patronize these stations the most.
So, even though it is less convenient, I guess I will patronize Smith's grocery store/gas station, where the gas is cheaper and it gives me better gas mileage.

New Polls Up On The Blog

Tonight I put 2 new polls up on the old Las Vegas Badger.
The first poll asks you to predict who will win the NBA championship.
I was going for the San Antonio Spurs or Oklahoma City Thunder, but they were already eliminated in the first round or didn't even make the playoffs.
So, I am going to go for the Golden State Warriors.  They have the best record in the NBA and the best home team.
So, please tell us what you think and if you have a suggestion for another poll, please let me know in the comment section.
    Thanks

Suggestion For The Road Kill Cafe

In Seligman, there is  small restaurant named the Road Kill Café:  http://www.route66seligmanarizona.com/The_Roadkill_Cafe.php
Well, there may be another item offered on their menu: Stupid Liberal Surprise.
From the LVRJ: Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman says she may risk life and limb to stop the transport of uranium waste through her city.Reacting to Monday’s news that the Department of Energy will start shipping waste from Tennessee for disposal in Nevada, Goodman said she would “lie down on (U.S. 95)” to stop the waste shipments, echoing husband and former Mayor Oscar Goodman’s threats to do the same several years ago.“I find it absolutely incredulous,” the two-term mayor said of Monday’s transport announcement. “This is just not tolerable.”The uranium waste is expected to pass through Las Vegas on its way to a landfill at the Nevada National Security Site, 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas.Federal officials are not expected to make the shipping schedule public, apparently neutering even tongue-in-cheek threats to try and head off the transports. The Review-Journal on Monday reported an empty 20-foot cask that could be used to deliver the atom-splitting material was already en route from Tennessee’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory and expected to arrive at the Nevada site on Wednesday. That dry run will give security site contractors practice in lifting the cask by crane, removing its lid and putting the waste material in the landfill, where federal officials hope to eventually dispose of more than 400 such canisters carrying potent uranium-233 mixed with uranium-235. - See more at:  http://www.reviewjournal.com/politics/government/vegas-mayor-will-lie-down-highway-block-nuke-shipments#sthash.ZjbzYbgO.dpuf
Goodman is seeking some cheap publicity, but if she does go through it, the Road Kill Café may want to have a word with her about being on the menu.
