They Can't Be Too Bright

This week will be the hottest week, temperature wise, in Las Vegas, with a high of 108 expected today, but yet, some presidential hopefuls have decided to come to Las Vegas this week.
from the LVRJ:
Three announced and presumed presidential candidates, from the high profile to the long shots, will make the trek to Las Vegas this week.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Democratic front runner, will speak Thursday at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials’ 32nd annual conference at the Aria.
The association, which is nonpartisan, also is giving other candidates from both major parties who have less name recognition an opportunity to connect with conference attendees. The speakers include Dr. Ben Carson, a neurosurgeon seeking the Republican nod for president, speaking Wednesday; and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who is mounting an underdog challenge for the Democratic nomination and speaking Friday....
Visits to Nevada will continue after the conference. Former Republican Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is expected to visit Henderson on June 27. He is expected to announce his candidacy Monday, according to The Associated Press. Bush aides didn’t offer any details about the visit last week
http://www.reviewjournal.com/politics/clinton-other-presidential-hopefuls-flock-vegas-week
While the politicians may not spend much time outside, their supporters, especially Hillary's, will be and it's hot, damn hot to be standing outside in temperatures in the 100's and even at night, the lows will only be in the 80's.
Not to bright of these foolish politicians.

Hillary: Don't Do As I Do, Do As I Say

What a hypocrite.
From the Guardian:
Experienced, adult political operatives who want to do grassroots work for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign currently have no choice but to work as unpaid, full-time interns, raising new questions about how the White House frontrunner runs her own labor force as she prepares to double down on young people’s role in the American economy.
The Clinton campaign is currently in the midst of what multiple Democratic sources described as a “hiring freeze” for paid organizing positions in the early campaign states where the former Secretary of State is laying the foundations of a massive national staff, with few if any paying jobs available for field operations.
Clinton’s camp has made headlines about its frugality and a hard sell on its fellowship program, which allows aspiring politicos between the ages of 18 and 24 to spend this summer as full-time campaign volunteers. The result, however, is the human-resources reality of a campaign – one scheduled to hold at least 26 fundraisers this month alone – that isn’t just taking on college students with political science degrees but expecting political veterans to gamble their careers on her without pay.
Clinton, according to her would-be employees, has left full-time organizers with little choice but to criss-cross the country and work as “free help”.
The Guardian has identified at least five “Organizing Fellows” on Clinton’s current field team in Iowa alone who held paid positions on national political campaigns during the 2014 midterm elections.
“People with campaign experience with a cycle under their belt are being kind of held in this limbo position,” said one experienced campaign staffer who turned down a Clinton fellowship....
Unpaid internships or fellowships have become a major point of contention in the US since former interns at the media company Condé Nast sued their former employer. A group of 7,500 plaintiffs settled late last year for $5.8 million.
“Businesses have taken advantage of unpaid internships to an extent that it is blocking the opportunities for young people to move on into paid employment,” Clinton said in 2013. “More businesses need to move their so-called interns to employees.”  http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/jun/13/hillary-clinton-unpaid-summer-intern-campaign
And with Billy Bob running around, any female intern is also in danger from being sexually assaulted.  So, they not only don't get paid, they risk having Billy Bob hitting on them.

Been Watching The Women's World Cup...

I've been watching the FIFA Women's World Cup the past couple of days and came away with these thoughts:
1.  The world is not coming to Canada to watch the games.  In most crowd shots, the stadiums are half filled, if that.
2.  Some teams look like a good boys high school soccer team, not all, but most of them.
3.  Soccer is still boring, men's or women's.
4.  Most of the soccer players look pretty hot for this old man, except for the U.S. team, where it seems they go out of their way to look ugly.
5.  I highly doubt many people are watching games like France vs Columbia and I was watching the game and there were not many people in the stadium.
6.  Like the WNBA, Danica Patrick and the LPGA, these ladies do not have the skills that could not even come close to males in these sports, or even high school or average college teams.
So, if you do happen to tune into the Women's World Cup, don't expect too much but enjoy the beauty of ladies competing.

Roasted Guinea Pig In NYC

From the NY Daily News: Holy spit!
Cops investigating an animal cruelty case in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park found a man roasting a guinea pig over a roaring flame Saturday morning — and deemed it perfectly legal, officials said.
Officers descended on the barbecue area near the Ninth St. park entrance in Park Slope about 9:30 a.m. after a concerned parkgoer called 911 worried someone was torturing a squirrel.
But the caller had his animals mixed up. The early morning gourmand was roasting a guinea pig, which is a delicacy in Peru and other South American countries.
The man, who was not named, is from Ecuador, according to the website DNAinfo.
Because he was in an area of the park set aside for barbecuing, the man was allowed to go back to his meal.
“He wasn’t holding an animal down and torturing it,” a police source said. “If he wants to feed on guinea pig that’s his prerogative.”  http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/man-roasts-guinea-pig-prospect-park-barbecue-area-article-1.2257283
As an owner of a guinea pig, I feel that this guy's behavior is kind of disgusting.
But I wonder, what if this was a dog or cat?  Would the cops reaction be the same?

Party Time With The Monkees

Image result for picture of a chimp drinking

From Fox News:
Even apes need a break once in a while. A 17-year study of chimpanzees in Guinea observed the animals drinking fermented palm sap, with some of the chimps exhibiting "visible signs of inebriation" after overconsumption.
"Some individuals were estimated to have consumed about 85ml of alcohol," the approximate equal of a bottle of wine, the research leader tells BBC News.
The team found that the naturally fermented sap produced by raffia palm trees contains about 3% alcohol by volume. And those "visible signs of inebriation"? They included "falling asleep shortly after drinking," or as humans might call it, "passing out." The study, published this week in Royal Society Open Science, shows "evidence of ... long-term and recurrent" drinking, and marks the first time researchers have recorded and measured wild apes voluntarily consuming alcohol.
Though scientists knew apes and humans could both metabolize ethanol, only humans had been documented as drinking the stuff voluntarily. As for chimps' drinking apparatus of choice, the team notes they often used "leafy tools," using torn-off leaves to dip into and soak up fluid and transfer it into the mouth.  http://www.foxnews.com/science/2015/06/13/study-humans-arent-only-ones-who-like-to-booze/?intcmp=latestnews
So, if you want a party animal, think of a chimp.  They may want to go partying with you, but they may have problems if someone tries to card them.

About Time

From jsonline(Milwaukee-journal Sentinel): It has been nearly 35 years since the Americans held hostage at the U.S. Embassy in Iran came home, and they have tried in vain since then to win compensation for their suffering.
"Iran has never been held to account in any way whatsoever for having violated every tenet of international law for all of those 444 days," says Kevin Hermening, the Wisconsinite and former Marine embassy guard who at the age of 20 was the youngest hostage taken in 1979.
But a long legal and legislative saga may now be nearing an end. A Senate committee last week endorsed a remedy that could pay each of the surviving hostages $6,750 for every day they were held, or roughly $3 million apiece.
The money would not come from the Iranian government, which has proved an impossible legal target.
Instead it could come from fines and penalties paid by companies that did business illegally with Iran in violation of sanctions against that country.
http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/compensation-finally-near-for-hermening-other-iran-hostages-b99517083z1-307278621.html
Too bad the Obama administration cannot make payments to the Embassy hostages as part of the Iran nuke deal, but they refused to do that.
But it is good that the hostages, after all these years will get their money that they are owed.

The Sky Is Falling...Not?

Just about all the media has said that Las Vegas and other communities are using too much water and that Vegas and other communities and California will run out of water in the next few years.
Well according to this article from the LVRJ, this is just a myth or Chicken Little saying the sky is falling.
From the LVRJ:
Forget everything you’ve heard about Southern Nevada’s water crisis.
That includes:
■ Lake Mead will go dry within a decade.
■ The Las Vegas Valley uses more Colorado River water than it has rights to.
■ Resorts and homebuilders are irresponsibly throwing up water-guzzling homes and hotels.
■ The city will run out of water completely and cease to exist in — fill in the blank — five, 10, 15, 30 years.
None of it is true.
Fact is, Nevada has enough water not only for today, but for tomorrow — even a tomorrow that includes hundreds of thousands of new Las Vegans and millions more tourists.
Some of you simply won’t want to hear this message. It defies a rarely questioned groupthink, with media outlets from the West Coast to Europe asserting that Las Vegas is on the brink of dust in the taps.
England’s Daily Mail reported in July that population growth in Las Vegas has “drained 4 trillion gallons of water” — about half of capacity — from Lake Mead, and the city’s “glittering nightlife is in danger of grinding to a halt.”
An environmental reporter with Slate said he spent “only a few minutes” looking at Lake Mead’s “white bathtub ring” in early 2014 before pronouncing Las Vegas a “patient on life support,” and asserting new-home subdivisions “simply should not be.”
USA Today in June 2014 listed Nevada among its “seven states running out of water.”
Even the Las Vegas Sun has an online clock breathlessly counting down the 2,058 days until “Las Vegas runs out of water” — a number the paper presumably took from a 2008 study, later revised, that gave Lake Mead 50-50 odds of drying out by 2021.
The coverage downplays or discounts measures that have kept Southern Nevada in water as the population doubled and Colorado River share went unchanged.
One example: The fact that the valley recycles all indoor wastewater is treated as suspect water-accounting sleight of hand, or ignored altogether.
To be frank, there’s no real defense for Las Vegas. The city shouldn’t be here, smack in the middle of a desert.
But if you gauge a place’s right to exist based on its effect on the Colorado River, then Nevada — at a tiny fraction of the effect of California and Arizona — has greater claim than anyone else. That means Phoenix and most of metro Los Angeles have less right to exist.
Local water officials are the first to acknowledge the Colorado River was divided up during an unusually wet period that’s not likely to happen again. But they also say they can adjust. They say Southern Nevada will have water — so much so that, with continued emphasis on conservation strategies started 15 years ago, thousands more homes can be built in Las Vegas with little additional effect on Lake Mead.
The water is there, so whether Las Vegas should expand is actually a philosophical question of what we and others want the city to be. It’s “should we grow?” rather than “we can’t grow.”
Population growth in the works
On the surface, it’s easy to understand water alarmism.
The footprint of the city is expanding even with potential water cuts coming.
Resorts World Las Vegas is underway with as many as 6,000 rooms. More than half a dozen master plans from Cadence in Henderson to Skye Canyon in the northwest have as many as 70,000 homes planned in the next 20 years. That would boost by 15 percent the number of single-family households, now at 470,000, that rely on lake water.
New locals and tourists are coming. Clark County will surge from 2.1 million to 2.7 million residents by 2035, and 3.2 million by 2050, according to UNLV’s Center for Business and Economic Research. Conservative estimates from research firm Applied Analysis show visitor volumes could jump to 51 million by 2050, up from 41 million now. An aggressive projection says 59 million.
Those forecasts come as Lake Mead, supplier of 90 percent of the valley’s water, slips into critical condition.
Fifteen years of drought have pushed the lake to 38 percent of capacity. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in May said it could declare a shortage as early as January 2017 to cut Nevada’s take.
Water scientists warn of additional shortages.
David Pierce, a climate researcher with the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego, said water in Lake Mead could drop another 10 percent midway through the century. Warmer temperatures will mean more evaporation of lake water, and smaller winter snowpacks will create less runoff to feed the reservoir.
Already, the Colorado River has experienced 12 below-average snowmelt years since 2000, and it is expected to see half of the normal amount in 2015. Lake Mead hit a record-low water level of 1,080 feet above sea level in April, and has dropped another 5 feet since....
Nat Hodgson, executive director of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association, routinely hears from developers asking if the water situation is stable enough to build. If it’s not, they won’t take the risk, he said.
So far, they see little risk.
That’s because they can do math.
Reusing lake water
Local water agencies treat and return to the lake all indoor wastewater, for which they get return-flow credits. That practice essentially cancels out the effects of indoor use on the lake’s water level. Add all the new homes and resorts you want: Nearly all of their indoor water consumption will be returned to the lake and used again.
Just as important, homebuilders and the Southern Nevada Water Authority agreed in 2001 to strict standards for new homes.
Front-yard grass was banned. Turf out back was limited to 50 percent. Low-flow faucets and toilets were mandated or encouraged through rebates. Hodgson estimates homes built today use 70 percent less water inside and out than homes built before 2000.
Owners of existing homes get rebates for pool covers to prevent evaporation, and for new irrigation clocks and conversions of turf to desert-friendly landscaping.
About 70 percent of local water consumption goes to outdoor use, so the changes have made a big difference.
“Our community in the last 15 years has really begun to adopt a culture of living in the desert,” said John Entsminger, general manager of the Southern Nevada Water Authorityhttp://www.reviewjournal.com/news/water-environment/water-isn-t-worry-when-it-comes-las-vegas-growth
I have no doubt that there is more caterwauling from the Chicken Little types about Las Vegas running out of water is mostly false.
However, while the builders and others have said new housing will not effect the water level at Lake Mead, I am more afraid that the illegals that come to Las Vegas will be taken into account.
The reason why illegals will throw these plans into a flux is that illegals tend to live in homes with 10-20 illegals in one house.  When you read the media reports of fires in illegal country in Vegas, fires often displace 6-20 people in an apartment or house in which these houses have only 2-3 bedrooms.
So, while the builders may say that they are building houses without using anymore water, but with Las Vegas liberals inviting illegals into Vegas, that may change things.

This is Cool

Image result for picture of blue man group
From the LVRJ:
This Sunday, the “Blue Man Group” will present a “sensory-friendly” show, more suitable for children with autism spectrum disorders.
Tickets will drop to $36 for this 2 p.m. show at the Monte Carlo hotel, with a bit going to the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation.
What does this mean? Basically, “slight modifications” will slim the sound and light, and earplugs will be available if people ask for them. Plus, performers will limit and somewhat subdue their interactions with the crowd, while presenting a calmer lobby experience. For more information, check out blueman.com/autismspeaks and grantagiftfoundation.org.
http://www.reviewjournal.com/entertainment/the-reel/blue-man-group-present-autism-friendly-show
As someone who has worked with autistic kids, the normal show of the Blue Man Group would not be good for those with autism.  The lights and sound would do a lot of harm to them and the those with autism would kind of freak out.
So, it is nice the Blue Men is doing this, but $36 a ticket seems awfully high for those with autism and their families as most people with autism and their families just are not rich to go to this show.

Great Moments In education: Part 1

From Fox News: A Florida high school principal, who defended the Texas police officer at the center of that infamous pool melee, has become the latest victim of radical speech police hell-bent on trying to silence public discourse.
Alberto Iber lost his job as the principal at North Miami Senior High School after he wrote a comment about the McKinney, Texas incident on the Miami Herald’s website.
“He did nothing wrong,” Iber wrote. “He was afraid for his life. I commend him for his actions.”
Three sentences. Sixteen words. Sixty-two characters.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools released a statement on June 10 announcing that Mr. Iber had been removed from his position at the high school and reassigned to an administrative position.
The district said they require their employees to conduct themselves “in a manner that represents the school district’s core values"....
Superintendent Carvahlo sent a very chilling message to his employees – any opinion that is contrary to liberal ideology must be silenced. And those who dare to voice such an opinion in the public marketplace must be severely punished.  http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/06/11/did-nothing-wrong-florida-principal-fired-after-defending-texas-cop.html
Well, I am glad that I don't work for the Miami-Dade Public Schools as a teacher or janitor because I am pretty sure I would be fired if I spout my moves at a school or in print in a newspaper or on my blog.
And this not only happening in Miami but in school districts throughout the country.
It starts in colleges when a teacher is training- if you are a conservative and tell people your views, you will probably not become a teacher or they will make it hard for you.  I know as I experienced discrimination for being a conservative at the University of Wisconsin-Madison- home of the Badgers.
Then you go to school districts and you face discrimination there.  I experienced in the Milwaukee Public Schools.  I was a conservative in at a liberal, mixed race school and I wasn't welcomed in open arms, especially since I reported a teacher for abuse- hitting a student.  I was transferred out and went to an all-black high school in the heart of the Milwaukee inner city.  I thrived there because we had a principal- best one I ever had- Mr. Lovell, who was a conservative Black man.  He didn't last long either, because he tried his best to turn the horrible school around by kicking out both bad teachers and students but the teacher's union and the MPS administration didn't like him because of his conservative style of educating.
So, it doesn't surprise me that the idiots that run the Miami-Dade School District wouldn't like a conservative being in their schools.
So, my suggestion is this: if you are in the position to hire people, I wouldn't hire anybody who is from of the Miami-Dade Schools because they will end up liberal and stupid.

Great Moments In Education: Part 2- Brawl At Graduation

From the Las Vegas Sun:
A brawl broke out during Palo Verde High School’s graduation ceremony over the weekend.
It’s not clear from the video what the fight was about, but CCSD said arena security believed it started over a seat dispute.
It’s also not known whether anyone was charged. The high school’s 585 graduates did eventually receive their diplomas. http://lasvegassun.com/news/2015/jun/11/video-brawl-breaks-out-palo-verde-graduation/
Palo Verde is considered one of the best high schools in Las Vegas as it is in Summerlin, one of the richest areas of the Las Vegas Valley.

What A Shame

Another cop has to quit after doing his job properly all because of bunch of brain dead racist dolts.
From Fox News:
The police officer filmed wrestling a teen to the ground at a Texas pool party resigned Tuesday, and the city's police chief blasted his actions as "indefensible."
McKinney, Texas Chief Greg Conley told reporters at an evening briefing that Officer David Eric Casebolt, 41, was "out of control." Casebolt resigned from the force earlier in the day, the chief confirmed.
A viral video showed Casebolt, who is white, pushing a bikini-clad black, teenage girl to the ground last Friday and brandishing his gun at other black teens after he and other officers responded to complaints about the pool party at a community-owned McKinney swimming pool.
Here is the video:

First, the black girl is nothing but a loud mouth and when interviewed shows she has no respect for anyone and that she is a Jerry Springer wanna be guest or be in the audience.  She resisted arrest or detention and fought with the cop.
As far as the cop pulling the gun, he had 2 thugs suddenly come up behind him and the cop didn't know if they were going for his gun, tackle him or cause any other harm to the cop.  The cop had every right to pull the gun on the thugs who came up behind him.
It's too bad that the police chief threw the cop under the bus.
It also is too bad that Obama voters made death threats against the cop and other cops. It really shows how classy these thugs are.
Sadly, the cop involved had to resign because he had no support from the police chief, who is a 100% coward and thugs from the community who decided that bunch of thug kids, especially the Jerry Springer guest wanna be, should get more respect than the cop who was just doing his job.

Why Is This News?

From Fox News:
A Secret Service agent has been placed on administrative leave amid an investigation into allegedly lewd texts sent to a woman following an event with first lady Michelle Obama, FoxNews.com confirms.
The agency confirmed the investigation of the unnamed agent following a report in the National Enquirer that he sent the texts to a “prominent Washington, D.C., staffer” he met during a May 20 event co-hosted by Obama and Elizabeth Dole for veteran caregivers.
“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of these allegations,” the agency said in a written statement on Wednesday. “At this time, the individual has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.”
The Secret Service said the Department of Homeland Security inspector general’s office will jointly investigate with an internal Secret Service office, “as is our policy with any allegation of misconduct.”...
Further, the official clarified that the phone communications between him and the woman happened while he was off-duty, “approximately nine hours after the completion of the event.”
While the matter is under investigation, the official said others reported the agent was “on his game” during the event itself.  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/06/10/secret-service-agent-working-michelle-obama-event-on-leave-after-lewd-text/?intcmp=latestnews
So, the guy is doing his job, was not on duty when he sent the text messages, apparently did not use a Secret service phone and no where in the article did it say that the woman objected to the texts.
So, why is this news?  Most of us have sent texts we may regret or may have even sent sexual type text messages.
So, why is this news?

Nice Shooting, Tex

From CNET: As drones become more prolific, people are starting to form two camps: those that love them, and those (like this chimp) that think they're privacy-stealing, hazardous nuisances. Guess which side a group of firefighters from upstate New York were on?
As the firefighters from Montgomery and Coldenham in New York were working to put out a house that had caught fire on June 4, a local man named John Thompson decided to fly a drone over the scene to film the proceedings. The firefighters put up with the drone for about 10 minutes and then turned their fire house on it, in what looks to me like annoyance. They send another blast its way about a minute later.
You can see the water blast at about the 12-minute mark in the video above -- just after one firefighter points out the drone to another holding the hose.
http://www.cnet.com/news/watch-firefighters-blast-drone-out-of-sky-with-hose/
I don't blame the firefighters.  When the drone was well over the house, there was no problem but the operator of the drone decided to get closer and closer and that becomes a problem because it becomes a distraction to the firefighters and that then becomes a life and death problem.
Besides, that was some pretty good shooting by the firefighter.

About Time

From the LVRJ:
Clark County management has ordered Martin Bassick, president of the Service Employees International Union Local 1107, to report for work at a county job in a move that reflects the county’s interpretation of a new state law concerning paid leave for union representatives.
The county’s human resources department notified Bassick in a letter Thursday to report at his county public works job at 8 a.m. Monday, according to correspondence obtained by the Review-Journal. The letter cites a bill that the Legislature passed this session and Gov. Brian Sandoval signed into law. An attorney for the SEIU, the county’s largest union, disputes the county’s interpretation of the law and has requested negotiations with the county to resolve the matter.
http://www.reviewjournal.com/politics/government/county-orders-union-boss-work-citing-new-law
This happens a lot in highly populated areas of the country.  You have a union thug off the job, doing union business and the government agency not only pays their salary and benefits but also pays for their replacement.
Hopefully, this will start a trend throughout the country and other states will pass laws outlawing union thugs from working full time on union business.

Tiger Woods= Duffer

Heck, when I was in my prime as a duffer golfer, I could do better than Tiger Woods as today he shot an 85 at the Memorial golf tourney.
From ESPN:  The slow, steady progress that Tiger Woods said he has been making with his golf game came to a sudden, ugly halt on Saturday at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
At the place where he has won five times, Woods shot a career-worst 85, including a quadruple-bogey 8 on the 18th hole.
He made just one birdie and dropped to last place in the Memorial Tournament, six strokes behind the next-lowest player in the field, Lucas Glover
Justin Rose shot a 6-under 66 on Saturday that gave him a three-shot lead and put him 27 strokes ahead of Woods.
"Obviously that's a tough round to swallow,'' said Rose, the 2013 U.S. Open champion who works with Sean Foley, Woods' former coach. "You can't really blame the weather or this or that. It's a course he's played well on. I'm not sure I have any advice really at this point. That's just a tough round to swallow, really.''
Because there are just 71 players, Woods will play alone, first off, on Sunday morning.  http://espn.go.com/golf/story/_/id/13023699/tiger-woods-shoots-85-memorial-worst-round-pga-tour
I have predicted for several years that Wood never win another major tournament.  Now, I predict Woods will never win another PGA sponsored tournament as well.
Other PGA golfer no longer fear Woods and they are much younger and stronger than Woods.
It's time for Woods to hang up the golf cleats and retire.  It is becoming embarrassing to watch Woods bomb out of just about every tournament he is in and in other tournaments that he does bad in, he claims injury and drops out.
So, Tiger, if a duffer like myself can come close to beaing you, it's time to think about retirement.

Mexico Declares War On U.S.?

Well, militarily, Mexico isn't at war with the U.S., but with all the illegals flooding our borders from Mexico, Mexico is at war with the U.S., and now, the Mexican government allowed someone to shoot down a Border Patrol helicopter yesterday.
From Fox News: A U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter was fired at and forced to make an emergency landing near the river banks of Laredo, Texas, officials confirmed to Fox News on Saturday.
The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. Friday when the aircraft was patrolling the Rio Grande near the far northwest corner of the border city of Laredo.
“The helicopter was impacted by gunfire, hitting the side of the aircraft and the rotor blade,” a U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson told Fox News. “The pilot was able to make a safe landing, there were no injuries.  There is an on-going search for the suspects on both sides of the border.”
Webb County Sheriff Martin Cuellar told the Laredo Morning Times that out of five shots believed to have been fired at the helicopter, only two were confirmed to have hit their target.
Authorities are still investigating on whether the gunfire came from the Mexican side of the river or the U.S. side.  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/06/06/border-patrol-confirms-us-cbp-chopper-shot-down-at-texas-border/?intcmp=latestnews
i'm sure the Obama administration will classify this as a workplace incident.

Finally, A Triple Crown Winner In Horse Racing

Horse racing finally has a Triple crown winner when American Pharaoh kicked butt on the field.
From ESPN: By midstretch, Bob Baffert knew it. American Pharoah was going to win the Triple Crown.
He took his eyes off the horse to soak in the crazed scene of the packed grandstand. Fans jumped up and down, hugged, and tossed drinks in the air.
The race wasn't even over yet, and the crowd knew it, too. Thirty-seven years of waiting to see one of the rarest feats in sports was almost over.
"The crowd was just thundering, and I was just enjoying the crowd and the noise and everything happening," the white-haired trainer said. "What a feeling."
Finally, a Triple Crown winner. And this one was never in doubt.
American Pharoah led all the way to win the Belmont Stakes by 5½ lengths Saturday, becoming the first horse in 37 years to sweep the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes -- one of the sporting world's rarest feats.
"Wow! Wow!" jockey Victor Espinoza said moments after crossing the finish line. "I can only tell you it just an amazing thing. It's just unbelievable how things work out."  http://espn.go.com/horse-racing/story/_/id/13025872/american-pharoah-wins-belmont-stakes-claims-triple-crown
37 years since the last Triple Crown winner and I was just a lad still in high school when Affirmed won.
Some thoughts:
In the pre-race, there was a Burger King King sitting with the owners... Why?
Screen Shot 2015-06-06 at 5.44.02 PM
If you bet on American Pharaoh for this race, you didn't make a lot of money.  If you want to make real some money, save the winning tickets of American Pharaoh in the Kentucky Derby, Belmont and Preakness and hang on to them for several years and then sell them on E-Bay or some other auction site as these tickets will be collectible.
There will be some accusations that the race is fixed.
Finally, it was nice to see the horse and jockey do a Polish victory lap.
Here is the race:

Great Moments In Education

From the Star Tribune:
Some parents are outraged after the leader of a small Minneapolis private school took about a dozen middle- and high-school-aged students on a sex education field trip to an adult novelty store late last week.
“It’s just a major breach of trust,” said Lynn Floyd, whose 11- and 13-year-old daughters were part of the outing to the Smitten Kitten. “You just can’t erase those images.”
A leader of Gaia Democratic School and the host of the field trip defended the outing, saying the visit capped a monthslong sex education class.
Director Starri Hedges, who also teaches the school’s sex education class, said she wanted to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students to learn about human sexual behavior.
“What I saw happening on our trip, I thought it was beautiful because kids could talk to these sex educators without any shame, without any fear,” Hedges said Monday.
Gaia is a K-12 school with a motto promising academic freedom, youth empowerment and democratic education. Parents say the school has about 25 students, including several described by administrators as transgender. IRS records show the school, housed in a Unitarian church on Mount Curve Avenue, has an annual budget of about $100,000.
While at Smitten Kitten, students sat in the front in a library section of the store, Hedges said. Everything deemed pornographic was off limits to the students, though sex toys and other products were visible, Hedges said.
The field trip offered students access to educators and products that could be used to practice safer sex, Hedges said. Some students bought condoms, she said.  http://www.startribune.com/minneapolis-private-school-takes-students-to-sex-toy-store-for-sex-education-lesson/305770831/
If these kids saw the same thing on my home computer, I would be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
I also find it ironic that the school has the word "Democratic", as many Democrats probably would approve of this field trip.

Muslim Gays Die While The gay Community Twiddles Their Thumbs

From Fox News:
The Islamic State has released a series of horrifying photos showing blindfolded men tossed head-first off a building because, ISIS claimed, they were gay.
In photos obtained by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), ISIS militants are shown publicly executing the unidentified men for violating Sharia law.
A crowd of spectators, including children, was gathered below the 100-foot building in Mosul as the men were held by their ankles and then sent plunging to their deaths. The photos were believed to be recent.
The photos were released by ISIS on Wednesday via social media and in a report by the terror group entitled, “Implementation of the Punishment of Those Who Have Committed Acts of Homosexuality” on the jihadist online forum Shumoukh Al-Islam, according to the research group.  http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/06/06/death-fall-isis-continues-to-throw-gay-men-off-buildings-under-guise-sharia-law/
So, while there is a holocaust going on in the Muslim gay communities in Iraq, Libya and other areas controlled by ISIS.
But the gay community in the United states is more concerned about bakeries and other businesses that don't cater to them, gay marriage and other non-important issues instead of speaking out on the issue.
Why, probably they don't want to upset President Obama, because after all, the gay community is virtually in lock step with Obama and the liberal agenda.

Another Hot Female Inmate

Who would expect her to be a vicious criminal and why is she smiling so much?
From the Pahrump Valley Times:
Raquel Ramirez was jailed on May 29 and faces preliminary charges of burglary and assault with a deadly weapon after deputies with the Nye County Sheriff’s Office were called to a residence on West Charleston Park Avenue regarding a suspected domestic violence.
When deputies made contact with the victim, he reportedly stated that Ramirez came home and told the victim she was kicking him out of the house when an altercation ensued.
The victim said that Ramirez allegedly picked up a bat and began breaking his belongings and he was forced to escape into the bathroom for protection and locked himself in.
However, Ramirez started hitting the door and breaking her way into the bathroom, swinging the bat at him. The victim explained that he used a towel in an attempt to block the bat from hitting him and was able to get out the window and attempt to call 911.   http://pvtimes.com/news/crime-corner-june-5.html
My guess is that she will probably get off because the victim will be too embarrassed that he got beat up by a girl... that or a jury of all males will feel sorry for her.
And the reason for her smiling?
Maybe she is hoping her smiling mug shot will go viral and she will make lots of money or get a lot of dates- legal or otherwise.

The BLM Learns It's Lesson

From the Las Vegas Sun: Federal land managers say they won't immediately enforce drought-related grazing restrictions in northern Nevada so as to avoid confrontation with ranchers openly defying the order.
Ranchers Dan and Eddyann Filippini have been notified they are violating the closure ordered in 2013 in an area covering more than 150 square miles near Battle Mountain about 200 miles northeast of Reno, Bureau of Land Management spokesman Rudy Evenson said Thursday.
But he said BLM acting-state director John Ruhs told them the agency won't try to stop them while they continue negotiating a compromise. "We're not going to come out there and have a big confrontation," Evenson told the Elko Daily Free Press.
The Filippinis announced earlier this week on their Facebook page, "Stand with Battle Mountain," that they intended to turn cattle out on the 100,000-acre North Buffalo allotment with a checkerboard ownership pattern, where most of the land belongs to the ranchers but public land is sprinkled throughout. There are no fences to keep the animals off U.S. land where grazing currently is prohibited.  http://lasvegassun.com/news/2015/jun/05/blm-wont-enforce-nevada-grazing-restrictions-new-d/
I am glad the BLM has learned a lesson or two from the Bundy incident.  They are going to battle against a bunch of cows who are doing no damage to the environment and actually may help it by reducing fuel that may cause massive fires or fertilizing the soil with their cow dung.
The Fed's own about 90%+ of Nevada, I'm sure they have more things to worry about than some cows grazing on a very small percentage of land the BLM oversees.

Sarah Palin Is Right

What is the difference between a liberal pervert and a conservative pervert?
In the liberal media, if you are a liberal pervert, you get a free pass and praise.
If you are a conservative pervert, the liberal media will go out of it's way to crucify you.
From the LVRJ: Sarah and Bristol Palin lashed out at Lena Dunham and the media on Thursday, with Sarah Palin calling Dunham a “pedophile” and blasting the media for focusing on the recent molestation revelations from Josh Duggar rather than Dunham.
Bristol Palin wrote a blog post Thursday morning calling out the “liberal media,” bringing up a passage in Dunham’s 2014 memoir “Not That Kind of Girl” in which the “Girls” star writes about exploring her little sister Grace’s body when they were children.
“That makes me want to puke,” Palin wrote. “Remember the liberal media outrage? Oh that’s right. It didn’t happen.”
Bristol Palin compares this to the media treatment of Duggar, the “19 Kids and Counting” star who admitted to molesting five underage girls — four of whom were his sisters. TLC has pulled episodes of the show and Duggar stepped down from his position at the Family Research Council.
Sarah Palin backed her daughter up with a subsequent Facebook post, writing in all caps: “HEY LENA, WHY NOT LAUGH OFF EVERYONE’S SEXUAL “EXPERIMENTS” AS YOU HAUGHTILY ENJOY REWARDS FOR YOUR OWN PERVERSION? YOU PEDOPHILE, YOU.”
Sarah Palin went on to say that the media thinks “Lena Dunham’s sexual assault on her sibling is cute, and she’s rewarded for it with fame and fortune. Meanwhile, they crucify another, along with an entire family.”
“The media’s hell-bent mission to go after the entire Duggar family for one member’s wrongdoing, while giving a total pass to perverted actions of someone like Lena Dunham - or any other leftwinger celeb caught doing awful things,” the former Alaska governor wrote.  http://www.reviewjournal.com/entertainment/the-reel/sarah-palin-calls-lena-dunham-pedophile-amid-duggar-revelations
Quite frankly, I barely know who Dunham is and as far as Josh Duggar, well, he is one of 19 kids in a large family on a Christian/conservative show.  Don't care much about either one of them.
But the supposed outrage at Duggar's "crimes" which happened when he was a young lad is way off base, especially compared to other liberals who are accused of crimes-serious or not.
For instance, Bruce Jenner is treated as a hero because he is going to be come a he/she, yet he killed a lady a few months ago and it was 100% at fault.  But yet the media treats him like some kind of hero.
Further, the Duggars went to the cops and they didn't do anything and now the media is exploiting the story.  Now, people who have a similar situation in their lives and family will think twice about going to the cops.
So, all this uproar about the Duggars is completely unwarranted and it shows the liberal bias in the media for the 56,038,053,124 time.

Good For The School

From Fox News and Todd Starnes:
A group of people in Senatobia, Miss., have been charged with disrupting a high school graduation ceremony by hootin’, hollerin’ and carryin’ on like their mommas didn’t raise ’em right.
Three family members were served warrants for allegedly disturbing the peace at the Senatobia High School graduation ceremony on May 21. The warrants threaten jail time and a $500 bond. A fourth excessive shouter is still on the loose and has not been served.
Well, there’s a bit more to this story, according to Jay Foster, the superintendent of the school system – and the man who swore out those warrants.
Four years ago the high school graduation ceremony in Mississippi’s Five Star City resembled an episode of “The Jerry Springer Show.”
“That’s what we felt like our graduation ceremony had been turned into,” Foster told me. “It was who can be the loudest – who can take the attention away from the kids the most.”
That was Foster’s first year on the job, and what happened during that ceremony left an indelible mark.
“There was yelling and catcalling and people would get up and leave while we were calling out students’ names,” he said. “A family came up to me afterwards and said they had enjoyed their 12 years here but it was a shame that their last impression of Senatobia High School was graduation. They didn’t even get to see their daughter or hear their daughter because of all the noise and the way people acted.”  http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/06/04/superintendent-defends-warrants-for-excessive-cheering-at-graduation.html?intcmp=latestnews
As a teacher, I have been to numerous graduations and award ceremonies and almost every time, you have some fool parent or relative who will cause a commotion by shouting, whistling or otherwise act the fool.
And these morons are not doing it to recognize their graduate or award winner- most of the time, the kid is embarrassed- these morons do it to bring attention to themselves.
So, good for the superintendent to bring charges against these yahoos and I wish more school districts would do the same thing.

Family Guy Predicts Bruce Jenner's Sex Change

Hey, even a bling squirrel gets a nut once in awhile.
h/t NY Daily News

About Time

From the NY Daily News: A 67-year-old man convicted of killing four men more than three decades ago was executed Wednesday, making him the oldest of the 526 Texas prisoners put to death since the state resumed carrying out capital punishment in 1982.
Lester Bower Jr. was convicted of the October 1983 fatal shootings at an airplane hangar on a ranch near Sherman, about 60 miles north of Dallas. Prosecutors say he killed the. four after stealing an airplane he'd been trying to buy from one of his victims.  http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/texas-inmate-67-executed-killing-4-men-31-years-article-1.2245902
If the death penalty is going to be a deterrent to murder cases, you cannot wait over 30 years to execute someone.
This thug should have been removed from the gene pool at least 20 years ago.

Cool Video

Wal-Mart Scoops Government In Food Stamp Fraud Case

The cops in Alabama just busted a big food stamp fraud case in which some money was sent to Yemen, a hot spot of terrorism.
From Alabama.com:
A couple of steaks shoplifted at a Gardendale Walmart three months ago led to the biggest food stamp fraud investigation in Jefferson County's history, and launched 11 simultaneous raids this morning at convenience stores countywide.
Led by the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office, teams of law enforcement officers met at 5 a.m. for a briefing and then fanned out across the county beginning at 6:50 a.m. The officers and agents were armed with 242 search warrants and plans to arrest 17 suspects.
All 17 suspects were in custody by mid-morning, and investigators already today have filed for forfeiture and condemnation of those 11 stores, which totals more than $1 million in assets.
"This is huge for us,'' said Jefferson County District Attorney Brandon Falls.
The massive probe, dubbed Operation T-bone, targeted those they say have been cheating the food stamp system to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars and sending at least some of the profits via wire transfer to Yemen.  http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2015/06/fraud_ring_that_turned_ebt_car.html
However, the bigger story, in my humble opinion, is this:
The investigation began in February when Gardendale police arrested a man for shoplifting steaks and some other items at Walmart in that city. When they interviewed the suspect, he said he was boosting the items to give to two convenience stores, and he named the stores, authorities said.
Investigators contacted Walmart's Global Investigations Unit in an effort to let them know they would like to attempt to sell property represented to be stolen to those stores, but when they told Walmart the nature of their probe, they learned the conglomerate was already investigating those two convenience stores for EBT fraud. Simply put, they learned, the store owners and managers were using EBT cards that did not belong to them to buy goods in bulk to sell at their stores.
So, Wal-Mart started the investigation on their own, even though the cops probably could have started the investigation before Wal-Mart.
Especially alarming, since the possibility that money was going for terrorism, the Fed's did not get involved.
It makes you wonder how many more possible terrorism crimes Wal-Mart is investigating and the fed's are not?

Shame On ESPN:

From Fox News: Caitlyn Jenner excitedly wrote on Twitter “What the hell am I going to wear?” when it was announced that the reality star was to be honored at next month’s ESPY’s with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage.
Caitlyn is the new female identity of former Olympic gold-medal winner Bruce Jenner, which was revealed Monday.
But now some are crying foul over ESPN’s decision to choose Jenner, 65, instead of Mount St. Joseph basketball player Lauren Hill, who courageously battled brain cancer while staying on the university team. The 19-year-old lost her fight against cancer on April 10....
But Hill wasn't the only overlooked candidate people were made about. Iraq veteran Noah Galloway, who lost most of an arm and a leg fighting, but still competes in extreme sports and almost won this season's "Dancing With the Stars," also had hundreds of tweets from fans irate over Jenner's choice.
ESPN would only say to FOX411 of their decision-making process that “many people are discussed every year,” and that "there is no such thing as a runner-up." They also provided a written statement which said Jenner was chosen "to help move forward a constructive dialogue about progress and acceptance."  http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/06/03/anger-over-caitlyn-jenner-being-chosen-over-lauren-hill-for-espy-courage-award/
Jenner is nothing but an attention seeking whore, seeks as much attention as the family he married into- the Kardashians.
He also killed a woman because the moron doesn't know how to drive.  Where is her award from ESPN?
There are so many cases of athletes who courageously battle adversity while Jenner undergoes elective surgery.
Finally, Jenner still an athlete?
What has done athletically in the past 20 years or so?
Shame on ESPN for choose Jenner to be some kind of courageous fellow.

A Bit Of An Ego, Mr. Kerry?

From the Daily Mail, London:
The C-17 was carrying 'additional military medical personnel in keeping with standard practice', according to Kerry spokesman John Kirby, the Washington Post reported.
The planes, which are manufactured by Boeing, serve as the Air Force’s 'primary strategic lift aircraft for global transport of troops and equipment', according to Military.com.
C-17s 'can perform tactical airlift and airdrop missions and can transport litters and ambulatory patients during aeromedical evacuations when required.'
Kerry, who is set to arrive in Boston on Monday evening and be admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital, said he was 'particularly grateful to the remarkable police and medical teams in Geneva and Scionzier', adding the staffs are full of 'true professionals'....

So, Kerry is a moron for even going bike riding and then getting into an accident.  He believes his job is quite important and he puts himself along with his staff and security personnel in danger all because of Kerry's ego.
Then the idiot falls down like a 5 year old.  Next time, put on some training wheels, which means Kerry will need this bike when he tries to go back bike riding:
Image result for picture of a tricycle
Then, Kerry, who preaches to us about climate change/global warming then gets just about the biggest airplane to take him back home.  There were other planes available to Kerry back to Boston and maybe even place him in an ambulance jet.
But no, Kerry gets to travel in a fuel sucking polluting airplane, making a huge carbon footprint.
And the taxpayers get to pay so that Kerry can stroke his own ego.
While I do hope Kerry heals, though if he is in pain, well, that's karma for all the evil he has done throughout his life.

ObamaVille Killings Continue

Just like the postman, neither sleet or snow, nor rain, nor heat or cold will the killings and shootings in ObamaVille/Chicago ever stop.
From the Chicago Sun Times:
Six people were killed and at least 22 others, including a 13-year-old boy, have been wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday afternoon, according to police.
The most recent fatal shootings occurred happened within minutes and blocks of each other Sunday evening in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side, police said.
About 7:10 p.m., shots rang out in the 4900 block of West Lake and responding officers found a 53-year-old man on the street with gunshot wounds to the back, police said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he later died, said police, who added that the shooting may have been gang-related.
At 7:13 p.m., a 27-year-old man was on a sidewalk in the 100 block of North Cicero when several people walked up to him and opened fire, police said.
The victim–who has documented gang ties–was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he later died, according to police.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm either of those fatalities.
Earlier Sunday afternoon, a 25-year-old man was shot dead in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.  http://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/7/71/648386/police-2-killed-14-wounded-chicago-weekend-gun-violence
Meanwhile, there have been no protests or riots becayuse of the killings and shootings.
And President Obama, the one person who could actually do something about the killings and shootings by speaking up, just stays quiet as the killings and shooting numbers pile up.
Why does Obama hate Chicago and the mostly poor people who are being victimized.

Nevada RINO's

The Californization of Nevada continues as RINO Republicans just passed a huge tax increase, which will guarantee to slow down Nevada's economy even more.
From the LVRJ: The Nevada Assembly late Sunday approved Gov. Brian Sandoval’s $1.1 billion package of new and extended taxes, embracing the popular Republican governor’s ambitious education agenda and determination to position Nevada’s workforce for a high-tech economy.
On a 30-10 vote, the Assembly amended Senate Bill 483, the so-called “sunset bill” that also adds a $1-per-pack increase in cigarette taxes, with provisions of Assembly Bill 464, Sandoval’s latest tax compromise that includes a business gross receipts “commerce tax” imposed on revenue of $4 million or more.
Sandoval, who lobbied hard for his tax plan, praised the Assembly’s action....
Debate in the Assembly was passionate on both sides of the issue. A vocal group of anti-tax Republicans urged their colleagues to delay the vote or defeat it, arguing that supporting the tax hike would go against the will of voters.
Opponents called the tax plan a margins tax in disguise and reminded the body that voters overwhelming rejected a gross receipts tax in November.
“The voters voted no back in November to the margins tax,” said Assemblywoman Shelly Shelton, R-Las Vegas. “The people of Nevada do not want this and I implore my colleagues to vote no.”  http://www.reviewjournal.com/taxes/assembly-oks-sandoval-s-big-tax-package
The voters, just a few years ago rejected both a Clark County School District and a State wide referendums overwhelming when they were asked to raise taxes, so of course, the RINO Sandoval and RINO legislators apparently thought that this would be a good idea then to raise the taxes themselves.  morons.
Gov. Sandoval, who has been a huge, huge disappointment, shows that he is not qualified to be even thinking of running for a different office in 2016, like senator or heaven forbid, a vice presidential candidate.
As far as the RINO GOP legislators, many of them will face a primary challenge from the conservative wing.
But these RINO's just ought to admit they are just moderate Democrats instead of Republicans.

Coincidence?

Strange in Chicago.
From the Chicago Sun Times:
Rodolfo “Rudy” Avina was a mainstay in the artsy Pilsen neighborhood.
A framer by trade, the 43-year-old’s craftsmanship can be found throughout the National Museum of Mexican Art in the Near West Side neighborhood.
Avina, a father of three who married into the family that owns the famed Nuevo Leon restaurant on 18th Street, was killed early Saturday at a neighborhood bar where he was a regular.
He was sitting at the bar at Simone’s, a popular spot in the 900 block of West 18th Street, when someone walked up behind him and slit his throat, a relative said authorities told him.
Avina, who lived blocks way, was dead at the scene.
Someone was taken into custody after the stabbing, and criminal charges are expected to be filed, according to Chicago Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Rottner, who said Saturday night the attack “was unprovoked” and that Avina was “an innocent victim.”...
Avina had been friends with James Foley, the American journalist who was captured and killed by the Islamic State, Avina’s friends said. He helped organize a Pilsen mural for his slain friend, Solis said.  http://chicago.suntimes.com/news-chicago/7/71/648272/police-man-fatally-stabbed-pilsen
Maybe it is just coincidence that both avina and Foley both had their throat slit.
It will be interesting to see what the motive was and who was behind this murder.

Want To Bet Chumlee Will Be Broke When Pawn stars Ends?

From the LVRJ: Chumlee and I were catching up at an outdoor cafe on Friday when he told me he lost his $3,000 diamond-teeth upper grill. Have you seen it? It’s gotta be around here somewhere.
A diamond-teeth grill is a denture-esque slip on, similar to partials. The “Pawn Stars” star still has his lower grill, encrusted in real diamonds. He popped it out of his mouth to show me the bling.
Some time ago, his uninsured upper grill went missing.
“I lost a diamond earring in a cab before, too. You live and you learn,” he said.
I asked him why he doesn’t wear cubic zirconia grills, because I’m a cheapskate journalist.
“Nah. Can’t fake the funk,” he said.
Chumlee just returned to Las Vegas from four months of vacations in Hawaii, Los Angeles and Newport Beach. On Monday, “Pawn Stars” begins shooting 60 episodes. Yes, 60. http://www.reviewjournal.com/columns-blogs/doug-elfman/chumlee-escapes-gnarly-death-loses-few-diamonds
Chumlee seems like the kind of person who enjoys spending tons of money and has little discipline.
And it would not surprise me if the guy is broke within a few years after Pawn Stars goes off the air.
But at least he is enjoying his time now.

Black Lives Matter...Not

Photo: Capital Community News
From Fox News DC:
A local reporter was shot and killed Wednesday night in the District.
Charnice Milton, 27, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 2700 block of Good Hope Road in Southeast around 9:40 p.m. She was taken to the hospital where she died.
Milton worked just across the street for Capital Community News since 2012. The Southeast resident covered community issues.
According to the newspaper, Milton was a graduate of Ball State and earned a Master's from Syracuse. She was described as a talented reporter with an "engaging manner that endeared her to her sources."
Milton was not the shooter's intended target, D.C. police said.
She was an accomplished young woman and was well respected by her peers in her role as a reporter. She was also a beloved daughter.
Her family is asking for those responsible to do the right thing and turn themselves in.
“What we do know is that out of cowardice, a young man grabbed my daughter and put [her] between the bullet and his life,” said Ken McClenton, the victim's father.
It is a horrific detail for any parent to cope with in the death of their child. McClenton and Milton's mother, Francine, are devastated about the loss of their beautiful daughter.
“We miss our daughter,” said Francine. “We hurt that she is no longer with us it. But we also know that she is at a peaceful place.”  http://www.myfoxdc.com/story/29182359/reporter-killed
So, will the racist Obama speak out about this young lady's death?
Will the fools, tools and racist blacks march and riot for this lady and the death she suffered, probably by a black thug?
I'm not holding my breath for these things to happen, are you?

Good

From the Reno Gazette Journal:
A 74-year-old retired schoolteacher was found innocent on murder charges after shooting two trespassers and killing one when he found them in his abandoned duplex in Sparks.
The jury began deliberations Friday after hearing closing arguments in Burgarello's murder trial.
Burgarello claimed self-defense under "stand your ground" laws in when he killed Cody Devine, 34, and seriously wounded Janai Wilson, 30, in early February last year inside his duplex on 1032 H Street.
He was accused of open murder and attempted murder with a deadly weapon, and maintained he was acting in self-defense.
Wayne Burgarello, of Sparks, was found not guilty on murder and attempted murder with a deadly weapon after killing Cody Devine, 34, and injuring Janai Wilson, 30. Marcella Corona/RGJ
Burgarello's attorney, Theresa Ristenpart, said she was not surprised.
"We'd like to say thank you to the jury for finally seeing what this case was about, which was justified defense," Ristenpart said Friday night. "And we would like to thank everyone and the community support that occurred here.
"After looking through all of our case facts and going through our own investigation, we know that this was justified homicide, and he found himself in a threatening situation," she said. "He did what he had to do to protect his own life, and he reasonably believed he needed to do that."...
Wilson had testified she was staying at Burgarello's duplex off and on for several years. She said Burgarello began firing without provocation while she and Devine were sleeping on bedding laid out on the floor.
Neither trespasser had a gun, but Burgarello told police he saw an arm raise with an object in hand he believed to be a gun. Investigators testified they later found a black flashlight underneath Devine's body, but did not know if he was holding it when he was shot.
"You have to realize that at that angle, I only saw the barrel of the thing," Burgarello had told police. "I was shooting at the person who I thought was going to harm me."
Burgarello did not take the stand, but the court saw an interview video with police. Ristenpart said her client had a right to check his properties while armed.
"Before he even entered the door, Alvin Lilla, a retired firefighter, said Burgarello shouted a third time," Ristenpart said. "'I'm the homeowner. Is there anyone in here? If there's anyone in here, you need to come out.'"
Ristenpart said Burgarello's neighbors were all victims of transients, vandals and burglars. She reminded the jury of a defense witness, John Langdon, who lives next door to Burgarello's vacant properties. Langdon had previously testified that in past years, he checked one of his rental properties and found a homeless man inside who pulled a knife on him. Since then, he carries his pistol when he collects rent, does yard work or checks his properties.   http://www.rgj.com/story/news/crime/2015/05/29/jury-decides-burgarello-verdict-murder-trial/28189467/
The two people who got shot are the ones to be blamed for their being shot and killed and also wounded.
The two thugs had no reason to be in the guy's property, even if the house was unoccupied.
This country has to realize that bad people do bad things and when they do bad things, like running from the cops or breaking into people's home or property.
Chances are, if people stop running from the cops break into other people's property, the chances of them living through an encounter with the cops or property owner increase almost by 100%.
