Now, These Workers Need A Union

From the Prague Post: Greece farm shooting injures 30Around 30 migrant farm workers were injured during a shooting at a farm in southern Greece after requesting unpaid salaries, the BBC reported. At least one farm supervisor opened fire when 200 workers demanded wages at the strawberry farm Nea Manolada, a Peloponnesian village. The owner of the farm - which is situated 160 miles west of Athens and mainly employs Bangladeshi migrants - and one foreman have been arrested. A social media campaign has been launched against the fruit from Nea Manolada, calling it "blood strawberries." The village has also gained notoriety in the past for alleged exploitation of migrant workers.  http://www.praguepost.com/news/european-briefs/16056-greece-farm-shooting-injures-30.html#brief16056
Maybe the union thugs in the United States can actually do some good and get these workers organized and protected.
