This Is News?

From CNN: On the heels of a major winter storm that blanketed his state with snow, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie spent Friday at a resort in Puerto Rico with his family.
CNN was alerted to his whereabouts by a person who saw the governor poolside at a resort in San Juan.  http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2014/02/14/first-on-cnn-christie-vacationing-in-puerto-rico/
So, this is breaking news of great importance according to CNN.
So, I am sure President Obama is tucked snugly into his bed at the White House.
Well, you would be mistaken as Obama flew to California and Fresno and Palm Springs and just a short trip to Las Vegas where Obama can meet his mistress in Vegas or Palm Springs.

So, CNN rips Christie for vacationing in Puerto Rico and ignores President Obama's trip to Sunny California.
No wonder CNN ratings pretty much suck.

  1. I got to tour the Annenberg estate in Palm Springs (a wonderful tour of a--ahem--Republican family's lush spread) last fall. Heads of state, including every President back to LBJ have wined and dined there. So, criticizing President Obama for doing the same really doesn't make a lick of sense!

  2. I have no problem with Obama going to California for golfing but CNN decided not to report this and instead reporting that Christie going to Puerto Rico was news.
