Danny Tarkanian Going to Run For House Seat

From the LVRJ: Danny Tarkanian plans next week to launch his Republican campaign for the new congressional district in Southern Nevada, a GOP source said Wednesday.
Tarkanian's entry into the race will set up a competitive GOP primary for the 4th Congressional District with state Sen. Barbara Cegavske, R-Las Vegas, businessman Dan Schwartz, and Kenneth Wegner, a retired Army veteran who said Wednesday that he's getting into the race as well. http://www.lvrj.com/news/danny-tarkanian-to-join-race-for-congressional-seat-next-week-136692793.html
This seat is Tarkanian's to lose. While he will have a spirited primary with 3 quality GOP candidates, Tarkanian has the name recognition and the money to compete and win.
And then he may face Steven "I Don't Care If I Park In Handicapped Parking" Horsford who won't be much of a challenge in the end.
Even though there is a majority of Democrats registered in the District, it won't matter as I believe Tark will win overwhelming.

One Less Conservative Woman For The Left To Hate: Michelle Bachman Out Of GOP Race

Muichelle Bachman dropped out of the GOP race for president today after being an also ran in Iowa. I knew she had high hopes for Iowa, since she is from neighboring Minnesota.
I thank Bachman for running for president. First, anyone who runs for office, left or right, deserve our thanks. If we didn't have people running for office and running in primaries and giving voters choices, then we would have a totalitarian state- like North Korea or Cuba. So thank you Bachman and all those who are running for president for upholding democracy.
And now, the left will have to find another conservative female or minority to hate. The left can tolerate white conservative males, but when it comes to conservative females like Bachman or Sarah Palin or conservative males like Clarence Thomas and Herman Cain, they just despise them. The left hates it when a female or minority leaves the liberal plantation and tries to make a name for themselves. If more minorities and females left the slave plantation called liberalism, then fewer people will need liberals and they are scare shitless of that. Females and minorities are the liberal base and if the minorities and females start thinking outside the box, the liberals lose.
So, thanks Michelle Bachman for running and good luck in the future.

It's The Rick And Mitt Show In Iowa

A moderate- Mitt Romney and a true conservative, Rick Santorum are battling neck and neck to win the Iowa caucus tonight. It really doesn't matter who wins as the number of delegates will be almost the same. All they are doing is battling for bragging rights.
Ron Paul came in third and Newt Gingrich is a distance 4th and the you have the also rans and book sellers.
From here, they will go to New Hampshire where Romney has a large lead, but Santorum can cut into that lead since he is from the Northeast. Then comes South Carolina and Nevada, where I will go to a caucus and put in my vote for Santorum- he didn't throw Nevada under the bus when we had the squabble with New Hampshire about the date of our caucus.
So, let the games begin.

How Not To Run A Campaign, Part 3

Why does the GOP have problems answering e-mails from supporters?
Last week, I sent e-mails to Sharron Angle and Joe Heck offering assistance. But for some reason, I have never gotten a reasonable response. It is especially frustrating from Heck's campaign because I am resident of the congressional of Dina Titus's district, the seat Heck is going for and this is at least the second or third time I tried to contact the Heck campaign and all I get is a fake letter from Heck saying hs staff will get back to me, which they have not or failed to follow up of my offers of assistance. Sharron Angle is getting her campaign web site up and running, but that is no excuse.
I am no one special, but if this is how they treat their supporters, how will they treat people who have not made up their mind about the election?
