From the LVRJ: FBI agents arrested a woman around 4 p.m. Friday at the Riviera hotel-casino for attempted voter fraud.
Agents
from the state Elections Integrity Task Force charged Roxanne Rubin
with trying to vote twice in the general election, a felony.
Wearing
a black pencil skirt and lacy white top, she looked wide-eyed and
shocked as she was escorted to the valet area of the hotel.
"Everyone knows something but me," she said as she was lead away in handcuffs by FBI agents.
The
Secretary of the State says when Rubin went to vote Oct. 29, at the
Anthem Community Center in Henderson, a records search showed she had
already voted. She insisted she had not voted and should be allowed to
vote. Poll workers did not allow her to vote. http://www.lvrj.com/news/fbi-arrests-woman-on-allegations-of-voter-fraud-177037841.html
One of two things happened: either the lady tried to vote twice or that someone else voted in her place the first time it showed she voted. If someone voted in her place the first time she supposedly voted, then she was a victim of voter fraud. I'm sure her lawyer is looking into this scenario closely.
Another question: How did the LVRJ know about this arrest at the Riveria and then get the article out in about 10 minutes after she was arrested? They also knew her name and where she was staying and what she looked like. Finally, how did the LVRJ get the secretary of State statement immediately after she was arrested and still within 10 minutes of the arrest.
Who tipped off the LVRJ to this story? Did the Democrat Secretary of State Ross Miller plant the story to the media just minutes after the arrest?
The Las Vegas Sun also has the same story with this additional information:
Rubin allegedly cast a vote Monday at the Anthem Community Center in
Henderson. Later that day, she tried to vote a second time at an early
voting location on Eastern Avenue, investigators said.
When Rubin arrived at the second location, a poll worker conducted a
routine database check and found Rubin had already voted. When
confronted by the poll worker, Rubin denied having voted and claimed the
database used by the poll worker was wrong.
Poll workers at the Eastern Avenue location blocked Rubin from voting
and notified the county registrar's office, who forwarded the complaint
to the Nevada secretary of state. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/nov/02/southern-nevada-woman-arrested-suspicion-trying-vo/
Something stinks to high heaven about this story.
update: Channel 13 had video of the arrest on their 6:00 news.
This comes less than a day after the GOP complained about some voting machines in Nevada not properly recording votes in the presidential election.
This seems like a set up by the Secretary of State, Democrat Ross Miller, and to show that they are monitoring the election closely.
In the past, I have had no problems with Miller and I think he is the best Democratic politician in the state of Nevada.

ReplyDeletebet this story will be all over msnbc
I think this is a set up too. Miller isn't concerned about illegals voting or machines that when you check Romney switches to Obama. As for me if Obama wins this election, I will not believe he won honestly. What has happened to our great country?
ReplyDeleteI saw a clip of a video from what appears to be a police car of a woman being arrested and roughed up a little for speeding because she was rushing her dad to the hospital because he was having a heart attack, but I can't find any info online about it. It's going to be on Good Morning America tomorrow morning, but if anyone has a link I'd like to read more about this. Thanks
