A Gun Saves Another Life

From the Houston Chronicle:
A clerk shot a suspected robber during a holdup at a northeast Houston convenience store on Friday, police said.
At least one person staged a robbery about 3:15 p.m. inside the store on Homestead near Tidwell. A clerk grabbed a gun and opened fire, striking the suspect, Houston police said.
The man who was shot was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

I am not a gun nut and don't own one, but I do recognize that guns are needed for protection and they do save lives.  Unfortunately, there are some liberals out there that believe you should not be able to protect yourself when your life is in danger.
