But, But, I Thought The Federal Government Was The Answer To Everything

The floods are coming to Minot ND, or in fact already there. Over the past 1-2 months, the City o Minot and Ward County has been preparing for the floods by building dikes, getting plans in order and evacuating people.
No one is demanding that the Feds pay for this and that.
No one is demanding that the Fed's evacuate people.
No one is demanding that the Fed's take over control of the situation.
Minor and North Dakota is a state of hardy people and they really don't like the Fed's to interfere.
The Army Corp of Engineers have helped with dike building and have hurt the effort by releasing all the water.
And I am sure when things are all said and done, FEMA will provide some money to help.
But for the most part, this is a North Dakota and Minot effort and people are content for the Feds to stay away.
Good for them and they will be better off for that.
