Cops Kill Man, Stay Quiet About It

From the LVRJ: A man is dead following an altercation with a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper and Bureau of Land Management rangers near Calico Basin in the Red Rock National Conservation Area on Friday, but authorities released few details about how the incident unfolded.
It started about 11:45 a.m. after cyclists riding on state Route 159 reported an altercation with a pedestrian, described as a black man in his 20s, according to Trooper Loy Hixson.
A trooper and two rangers responded and at some point during the encounter Hixson said the officers “felt their lives were in danger,” but didn’t say whether the man had a weapon.
No officers were injured, and the man who was shot died, Hixson said. The man had been carrying a rolling suitcase, a backpack and a bedroll. Most cop shootings in the Las Vegas area are justified.
However, when the cops stay silent about the shootings, one must wonder if the cops are hiding something.
Some questions that need to be answered:
Was there a weapon with the suspect?
Did the suspect put a fight so bad that the cops felt threatened?
Did the cops try a non lethal weapon, like a taser or bean bag gun
What did he do to the bikers who called the cops on him?
Was anybody threatened besides the cops before they shot him?
How many officers fired their weapons and how many did not?
These are some important questions that the Park Rangers and the NHP have refused to answer so far.  Every passing hour, more and more people will become suspicious as to the actions of the cops.  This is sad for the cops involved in the shooings... unless they did something stupid and killed an innocent man.
