Obamaville: Thrsday Massacre

A 58-year-old woman was killed and two others were injured in a shooting in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side, several hours after a man was shot and seriously wounded near a Lawndale school this afternoon, officials said.
In addition to the woman's fatal shooting, two other men were killed and nine others were injured from gunfire during daytime incidents on the south and west sides, police said.
The woman was shot in the head on the 700 block of East 79th Street at 5:26 p.m. and was pronounced dead.
The woman was inside a real estate office when bullets came through the wall and struck her, police said. In addition, a 58-year-old old man who was also inside the business sustained a gunshot graze wound to his stomach, police said.
