The left are blamng gun laws in the latest mass killings, this time in Isle Vista CA.
From Mike Lupica of the New York Daily News:
So this is Memorial Day in 2014, when we are supposed to remember and honor those who died serving this country and end up mourning the latest to die at the hands of a madman with guns in America, this time in Isla Vista, Calif., near the campus of the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Once again, the only true gun control in America is when the shooter finally puts one of his guns to his own head and blows his own brains out.
Wayne LaPierre, the gun nut who runs the National Rifle Association and is so often the face and voice of that association, likes to say that the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, as if the principal at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the late Dawn Hochsprung, could have saved herself and those children if she’d just been packing.

Ok, let's get this out of the way, I am not a gun nut, never owned one and will never own a gun. I am afraid of them and I am a horrible shot. When I was in the Air Force, I set the barracks record, according to the training instructors, of the lowest score on the shooting range.
Lupica is a idiot. 3 out of 6 of the victims were stabbed to death, but apparently their deaths are not as important than the shooting victims to Lupica as he tried to make a political point.
Then, you can blame liberals and the ACLU for putting more of the dangerous mentally ill on the streets as opposed to putting them in mental or regular hospitals. In the 1970's and 80's, the liberals fought to get the mentally out of the institutions and onto the streets of local communities. While their motives may have sincere, like many liberal policies, it was a total failure.
Today, it is almost impossible for a person to be committed to a hospital by a 3rd party, like a family member unless the person has proven they are a danger to the community or themselves.
The family of the killer tried to get the cops and therapists involved before the killings but they didn't have much success because of the liberal policies put in by the courts and liberal laws.
So, if you want to blame a person for the killings, blame the killer, of course.
Then blame the liberals and their failed policies.
