Darn Doggy Gangs

From the LVRJ: A man and a dog survived a shooting that gang detectives were investigating in the central valley Sunday evening, Las Vegas police said.
The man, described to be in his 50s, was shot in the ankle and the injury was not considered to be life-threatening, Metro Lt. Bruce Miyama said. It wasn’t immediately clear where the Pit bull was shot, but it also survived.

So, a guy in his 50's is probably not in a gang, thus leaving the pit bull.
With the pit bull's typical behavior of hurting and killing people, it is clear this doggy must have been in a doggy gang.
