Well, our Las Vegas winter began today as it rained and rained and rained and it got colder and colder... by Las Vegas standards. In the mountains surrounding Las Vegas, they may get as much as 12 inches of snow by Saturday afternoon.
We have two new episodes of Pawn stars.
The opening scene was about Chumlee buying a new house. for some reason, he decided to have a gift registry, like a bridal registry for his house.
Chumlee had his house warming party and served quiche, chicken wings and fish sticks and shrimp. Danny came over to the party. The guys bought him some kitchen gadgets and the Old Man gave him a karoke machine.

It was written in 1794 and seems to be an undiscovered letter by Washington and the letter was about the Whiskey Rebellion. It looked like it was about 3 pages long.

The guy wanted $3500 and Rick said it was worth a lot more- $100,000. There was a question of authenticity.
Stuart was the expert and he said the paper was real to the time period but the letter was not in Washington's handwriting. It may have his secretary and his signature was not real. But he said the paper was 220 years and was worth about $4000 as a copy. Rick offered $1000 and the guy came down to $2000 and Rick offered $1500 and that was the sale price.
The next guy brought in a statue of Bob's Big Boy. http://www.bobs.net/The guy wanted $20,000 and Rick offered $2000.
The statue wasn't in great shape. The guy wanted $10,000 and there was no sale.
The next guy brought in a powder horn. The Old Man thought it came from the late 1700's. The guy wanted $4000 for the horn. When Corey talked, it showed he has quite the beard growing. The Old Man offered $1500. The guy came down to $2500 and there was no sale. Corey went to $1600 and that was the sale price.
In the 2nd episode, they talked about an upgrade to the shop. They decided to remodel the shop and they got some take some time off. They showed the remodeled shop in which they shut down the shop for a few days.
Chumlee and Rick went to see a Military Concept Vehicle. It looked like a armored pickup truck with 2 levels on it. It was bullet resistant. The guy wanted $150,000. Not sure if they could start it. Wil Willis came as the expert and said the vehicle was worth about $25-30,000 at the most. Rick offered $20,000. The guy wanted $95,000 and there was no sale.

I think he said it was made in 2006. The guy offered $1000 and that was the sale price. It was one of the first times they showed a buyer instead of a seller.

The guy wanted $85,000. Time for an expert, the Beard of Knowledge, Mark Hall-Patton. Mark said the briefcase actually belonged to Charles Lindbergh's father. No sale.
Next Thursday is Thanksgiving Day so I doubt there will be no new episodes, but I could be wrong.

As far ad thay sword goes, im a dealer and I charge 300-400 -for them. Im shocked that they charged so much, but they even ssid, they paid 500 for it, so they even over paid. All the info they said on it was correct though.
