Ward Bolinger, 64, is the seventh Nevada prison inmate to die since early October. His lifeless body was discovered Friday inside his cell at High Desert State Prison, where he was serving up to 20 years for attempting to sexually assault a victim under 14 and for attempted lewdness with a minor. He had been behind bars for the crimes since March 2012.
He was the second inmate to die in as many days. On Thursday, Robert Luttrell, 62, was found dead in his cell at Ely State Prison. Luttrell had been in prison since September 2006 serving a sentence of up to 30 years for robbery with a deadly weapons enhancement. His case originated in Washoe County. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2013/nov/22/another-nevada-prison-inmate-dies-second-many-days/
Now, if we can get some of those on death row to voluntarily die, that would be a great thing.
And no, I am not crying for these thugs who died.
Robert Luttrell was my father. Not a thug. He made mistakes in his life which he was paying for. For your comments one can only hope that you never have to experience the emotions that come with your father dying alone far away from you. I shed many tears for him. Even to this day. And I shed tears for anyone who judges someone without knowing who they really are. Not a mistake in there past.
