Tornado In Chicago

A "large and extremely dangerous" tornado has landed in Chicago's far southwest suburbs, and the storm system that spawned those twisters led to the postponement of today's Bears game at Soldier Field.
The National Weather Service reports that a confirmed tornado was on the ground near Coal City on the Grundy County-Will County line. It was moving northeast at 55 m.p.h. That tornado, described as "large and extremely dangerous," was also seen near Wilmington. The agency described the situation as "particularly dangerous" and "life threatening" while asking people to "take cover now."
The agency has issued a tornado warning until 1:30 p.m. for southeast Cook, east central Will County and northern Lake County in northwest Indiana. Communities at risk include Frankfort, Monee, Olympia Fields, Richton Park, Glenwood, Flossmoor, Calumet City, Lansing, East Chicago, and Hammond.
The storm that spawned that tornado led to the decision to evacuate players and fans at today's Chicago Bears-Baltimore Ravens game at Soldier Field.
