From the Wausau Daily Herald: As a labor strike neared its fourth week at Merrill Manufacturing Corp., Steve Shew of Oshkosh joined about 50 workers and leaders from other unions walking the picket line today in a show of solidarity outside the factory....The plant, founded in 1916, operated at full capacity Monday with replacement workers, Taylor said. He declined comment on how many had been hired. http://www.wausaudailyherald.com/article/20100419/WDH0101/100419113/Striking-Merrill-workers-rally-together-over-labor-contract
So, a union goes on strike, the company calls it's bluff and now the union members are not working.
Apparently, the union, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, United Lodge 2362, apparently doesn't understand that there is high unemployment. Unemployment so high that people are willing to be replacement workers and that the strikers, will have a very difficult time to find another job.
Unions have killed so many jobs and they are not smart enough to know it.
