And Harry, Shelly and Dina, how does that help us out in Nevada?

Many useful pharmaceuticals have been developed from tropical plants and insects. Many deadly diseases have been spread by tropical insects. Scientific studies like this one can help all of humanity, including those of you in Nevada. Don't be so quick to assume it's a waste of money. Remember Bobby Jindal's ridicule of federal funds for volcano monitoring? It's a lot cheaper than allowing U.S. military ships and planes to be destroyed by volcanic ash in places like the Philippines and Alaska.
