We've been watching a new shoy, I think, "Last American Cowboy", on Animal Planet.
It's about 3 ranch families living on hundreds of acres of ranch land in western Montana. It looks like it is close to Butte, MT.
The families consist of a traditionalist, an innovator and a loaner. The traditionalist believes in the tradition of the cowboy west, using horses and family members to get the job done.
The innovator uses modern tools such as a helicopter along with more tradional tools like horses. The loner takes on the ranch with about 800 cows with the help of his wife and father who is semi-retired.
It's a reality show with a camera crew that takes along and they tell a great story.
