The Green Bay Packers were clearly the better team on Sunday night football, against the New England Patriots. The score was 31-27, in favor of the Patriots. But once again, just a couple of plays killed the Packers and the usual suspects are the ones to blame.
In the Patriots opening drive, Charles Woodson missed an interception my 88 year old mother could have caught. The ball was in his hands and he just plain dropped the ball. A couple plays later, the Patriots scored a touchdown.
Then, towards then end of the 1st half, the Packers let an offensive guard take a kickoff 71 yards. An offensive lineman beat a bunch of linebackers, receivers and defensive ends for 71 yards. Pathetic.
Finally, coach Mike McCartney has been exposed as a fraud in the 2 minute drill. Since McCartney has bee the coach, he has hid behind great quarterbacks Brett Favre and Aaron Rogers during a two minute drill. Now, when he has a inexperienced quarterback, McCartney's true coaching ability showed. At the end of the game, the Packers were unorganized and panicked and that comes down to coaching.
The Packers were clearly the better team on Sunday. They executed and played well, except for Woodson, special teams and McCartney's two minute drill.

The Packers' coach is Mike McCarthy (as in Charlie), not McCartney (as in Paul).
