From The Las Vegas Sun: The developer of the Grand Canyon Skywalk has apologized for comments that a northwestern Arizona tribe says were racist.
A spokeswoman for David Jin was quoted in a Las Vegas magazine this week as saying the Hualapai tribal leadership is "lawless" and has an "archaic government."
Jin says he never would approve of such sentiments and issued a formal apology Friday to Hualapai Chairwoman Louise Benson.
The letter came after the tribe twice demanded an apology from Jin.
While Jin says he believes the comments were taken out of context, he regrets any offense they caused.
A tribal spokesman confirmed that Benson received the letter.
Jin financed the Skywalk, a glass-shaped bridge that juts out from the canyon. He and the tribe have been in disagreement over the contract

The Hualapai Indian Tribe literally stole the Grand Canyon Skywalk from the developer who had to put millions of dollars into the project and the tribe just took it away from him without compensation.
So, in addition to the tribe being lawless and have a archaic government, the Indian tribe are also thieves and I really hope no one ever does business with them again.
