Are The People In North Korea That Much Different Than In The United States?

Yesterday, the North Korean lost their tin horned thug dictator, Kim Jong-Il and the media in North Korea is showing the sad reactions of some of it's citizens grief- fake or real.
So, how would their reactions be any different than the those in the U.S. if our dear leader, President Obama, would say, die in a horrible golfing accident in Hawaii?
From the AP: North Korea's state television broadcast scenes of "indescribable sorrow" after Monday's announcement of the death of leader Kim Jong-Il, as hysterical people pounded the ground in a display of grief.

Well, in the U.S., the media would be showing scenes of people grieving and crying and it will be wall to wall.
Her words were aired repeatedly on state TV along with a photograph of a smiling Kim in his trademark khaki tunic. A band played solemn music.
Kim died Saturday of a heart attack, Pyongyang's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) and the television station announced, urging people to rally behind his youngest son and heir apparent Kim Jong-Un.
The U.S. media, especially CNN, MSNBC along with ABC, PBS, NBC, CBS and even Fox would do the same. Some may even cry on TV, like Chris Matthews and other liberal "reporters".
"They are not even trying to wipe away tears and are convulsing with pain and despair caused by the loss," KCNA said Monday of the country's impoverished citizens, adding the population of 24 million was in "indescribable sorrow".
The state TV showed ruling party members in one North Korean county crying out loud, banging tables and sobbing.
"I can't believe it. How can he go like this? What are we supposed to do?" said one distraught cadre, Kang Tae-Ho.
Who doesn't believe that this wouldn't be true in the United States. Of course, especially with Obama, there are going to be crying and wailing, especially in inner city neighborhoods where Obama has his strongest support. "What are supposed to do?" will be echoed throughout, especially by the lady who thought that Obama would pay for her gas, mortgage, utilities etc.
In Seoul the Daily NK, an online newspaper run by North Korean defectors, said Pyongyang had mobilised large numbers of troops to strengthen security checks, shut down outdoor markets and force people to stay home.
"There are armed soldiers on the street every four metres (yards)... military and intelligence officers are on guard everywhere," it quoted a source in the northeastern city of Musan as saying.
The source said people were afraid in case they did not show enough zealotry in their mourning, recalling punishments meted out to some after Kim Il-Sung's death 17 years ago.
This probably wouldn't happen, but the military and local police forces would be on high alert and I would suspect that there may even be a riot or two, especially if rumours start that the GOP contributed to the death of Obama (knock on wood)
State TV aired non-stop footage of Kim Jong-Il's "field guidance tours" to military bases, factories, stores and other installations and urged people to follow "the spirit of the great general".
Our media would show the same thing and curly toe weirdos like Chris Matthews would urge people to follow the spirit of Obama. After all, it was Matthews who felt a tingle up his leg when he thought of Obama.
Footage from central Pyongyang showed schoolchildren, workers and the elderly alike prostrate with grief in front of portraits of Kim Jong-Il and statues of Kim Il-Sung, whose bronze presence is pervasive in the city.
"How can I express all the sorrow... I can't speak any more," a soldier said in footage shown by China Central Television before bursting into tears, as pedestrians in Pyongyang wept and covered their faces.
There would be numerous instances where the media show the same thing and the interviews would show people saying the same thing. Obama has a cult like following, and if you have any doubt, look how many people fainted when Obama spoke when he was running fo president. Though, members of the military may not be saying these cult like things.
Some in Pyongyang pounded the ground with their fists and others wailed at the sky, in a testament to the ferocious personality cult built up around Kim Jong-Il which is now being transferred to Kim Jong-Un.
"Under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong-Un, we will turn our sorrow into strength and courage and overcome the present difficulties and work harder for the great victory of the Juche (self-reliance) revolution," KCNA quoted Jong Il-Guk, a 43-year-old military officer, as saying.
Kim Ok-Song, a 23-year-old worker at Pyongyang Electric Wire Factory, said in the North Korean state footage: "I will change sorrow into strength and courage, and remain faithful to respected Comrade Kim Jong-Un."
Chang the name to Obama and eliminate the self reliance quote and you have an Obama supporter.
So, when it comes right down to it, the people of North Korea don't act much differently than many of those on the left, if something should happen to President Obama. Many Obama supporters have a cult like attachment to him and they would behave the same way if something happened to Obama.
Of course, not everyone in the U.S. would feel the same way as some of the North Koreans depicted in this story, but you know that Obama hard core supporters would behave like this. I guess Obama supporters and North Koreans are not that much different, are they?
