With just 3 races left in the NASCAR Sprint Cup season, Matt Kenseth and Jimmie Johnson are tied for first place, with Kenseth holding the tie breaker.
The races left are at Texas, Phoenix and Homestead (Florida), which favor Kenseth, especially this year with his new Joe Gibbs team.
But don't count out Johnson who has won 5 titles in NASCAR as opposed to Kenseth's 1.
My money is on Kenseth because he has the talent, the equipment, the pit crew and the hunger to win the title. Kenseth is from Wisconsin and I have seen him drive at tracks in Slinger and the Madison area.
My hopes for Jimmie Johnson is this:
