A Philadelphia firefighter was suspended for setting fire to his fire truck while playing around in the fire station. From Firehouse.com: The incident occurred the morning of Dec. 1 when officials said Firefighter Paul Prendergas was "engaged in horseplay" as he lit paper and let it flame out inside a firehouse on Arch Street that houses Ladder 2.
According to officials, his supervisor told the firefighter to stop playing with fire, but Prendergas lit another piece of paper and threw it into the truck's engine compartment, setting ablaze the motor. http://www.firehouse.com/topics/top-headlines/philadelphia-firefighter-suspended-setting-truck-ablaze
Luckily, other firefighters put out the fire. On a more serious note, if you or I did that, there would be a good chance we could be charged with arson.
