I just got done watching the end of the Michigan State-New Mexico State. In the last 18 seconds, Michigan State was at the line with a 1 point lead. The shooter made the first and missed the second, but the referee on the baseline called a line violation on New Mexico State. It was a disgraceful call because line violations are rarely called but is one of the most broke rules, this was a real borderline call and the game was on the line. It was so disgraceful, all I could think of was that the ref was paid off. I don't have a dog in the fight, so I couldn't care who won, but it was a complete embarrassment to the NCAA for that call.
Was Tim Donaghy refereeing that game?
