Breaking news on KDWN,720 AM: Breaking news, Scott Walker broke his promise about paying more into his pension.
From jsonline: Gov. Scott Walker failed to keep his campaign promise to pay more for his state pension immediately on taking office.
Walker had promised in June 2010 on the campaign trail to start paying more on his pension "immediately" because "everyone should pay their own way, including me."
But spokesman Cullen Werwie said Friday that Walker didn't start paying more on his pension until August, when legislation championed by the Republican governor took effect and required him and all other state employees to make higher payments. Werwie had no comment on why Walker had waited.
The Associated Press on Friday first reported on the more than seven-month delay in making the higher pension contributions.
But Werwie said that over his four-year term Walker will eventually end up paying more than he promised to pay on the campaign trail because of his legislation raising pension contributions.
"The take-home message from us is that he's going to be paying more," Werwie said. "Ultimately, we're going to contribute more money back to the taxpayers than had been previously discussed."

Again, why is this news in Las Vegas? don't we have our own problems in Las Vegas, like Crybaby Harry Reid killing jobs, the new legislative districts that heavily favor Democrats, murders in Vegas, the GOP presidential candidates boycotting the Nevada caucuses etc. Hell, maybe a showgirl broke her nail while putting on a costume- that is more interesing about a story about Scott walker. When was the last time this pathetic reporter reported on Shelly Berkely's failed campaign promises?
So, why is KDWN reporting a non-story about Scott Walker? I guess the reporter is just another liberal hack reporter who has nothing to do.
Now, if Walker broke into Lambeau field and ran naked across the field and molested a cheerleader (they have them, don't they) on Sunday during the Packer game, that may be news in Las Vegas, but not this dumb story.
