Culinary Thugs At It Again

From the Las Vegas Sun: In a startling letter sent this week to Democratic lawmakers, the Culinary union, engaged in a vicious media to and fro with Station Casinos, essentially tells the legislators not to go to a fundraiser for Democratic Assembly Majority Leader (and man who would be speaker) Marcus Conklin.
The issue is that the event next Thursday is being hosted by Blake and Delise Sartini. Blake Sartini used to be part of the Station empire until he broke away -- he's now the head of Golden Gaming -- and Delise Sartini is the sister of Station bosses Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta.
I don't know that I have ever seen a letter quite like the one below -- "Which side you are on?" -- but you can be sure the Democrats who receive it will read it twice.

The Culinary Union leadership is nothing but a bunch of bitter crybaby thugs who love to live a lavish life style off the backs of the hard working members of the union.  Then they use the dues of the hard working suckers to go after the folks at Station Casinos, who the workers at Stations have said time and time again, they don't want the culinary union thugs to represent them.


Too bad that the individual Culinary Union members don't stand up to the union thugs who get rich off the members dues with their excessive wages and benefits and vote the thugs out of office.  But the union thugs act through intimidation, so they are probably scared.
And now, it appears, some Democrats are also scared of the union as well.  I guess we will see if the Democrats are really strong men and women and reject the thugs of the culinary union or if the Democrats are wimps and are afraid to stand up to the thugs.
