From the Reno Gazette Herald: Twin sisters in South Lake Tahoe have left the world the way they entered it 73 years ago — together.
An official cause of death has not yet been determined, but the El Dorado County sheriff’s office says both appeared to have died of natural causes within a short time frame.
Detective Matt Harwood says volunteers went to the sisters’ home on Saturday to check on their well-being and got no response. Deputies went back the next day and found both women deceased.
Harwood says the women apparently have lived in the South Lake Tahoe area since the 1970s. Authorities are trying to locate relatives before releasing their names. http://www.rgj.com/article/20120301/NEWS/303010037/Twin-sisters-73-found-dead-Lake-Tahoe-home-no-foul-play-suspected?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|FRONTPAGE
