This afternoon, there was another Metro police shooting, this time, in the Lakes area of the Valley.
From the Las Vegas Sun: "Las Vegas Metro police were working the scene this afternoon where a man was shot by at least one police officer in a southwest Las Vegas apartment complex.
The incident, which occurred about 4:15 p.m. in the Summerhill Pointe Apartment complex, 9501 Sahara, involved multiple Metro police officers who were responding to a report about a battery with a deadly weapon, according to Barbara Morgan, Metro public information officer."

This is the third police shooting within 8 days and the 18th this year.
No other news media in the area are reporting anything different.
The area is considered a pretty quiet place in Las Vegas and it located near Sahara and Grand Canyon, which is just west of Fort Apache.
The Wild, Wild West strikes again. Most of the time cops are justified and other shootings raises questions. Which category will this be in?
