Good Bye Dina Titus's Political Career: Dina Titus Screw Taxpayers Again

Never mind that Dina Titus was unethical in her re-election campaign and ran a series of commercials that even the Las Vegas Sun called lies.
Never mind that Dina Titus got her old job back at UNLV, even though UNLV said she was not qualified to teach and she only teaches 1 class for $107,000+.
Now, it comes out that Titus screwed the U.S. taxpayers out of $155,000 when she gave bonuses to her staff after she was defeated in her re-election bid.
According to the Las Vegas Sun (who must really not like Titus as they have really thrown her under the bus several times): Before leaving office last year, Rep. Dina Titus offered her congressional staff a parting gift: almost $155,000 in bonuses.
Titus, a Democrat who lost a tight race for re-election to Republican Joe Heck, made the payments from the annual allowance members of Congress receive for staff and office costs. The payouts almost doubled Titus’ personnel budget.
During the first three quarters of 2010, Titus spent an average of $185,000 on 17 staff salaries. The total jumped to $340,000 in the fourth quarter.
Any unspent money left in congressional office budgets — which range from $1.4 million to $2 million a year — is returned to the U.S. Treasury. Overages come out of Congress members’ pockets.

Like a typical liberal politician, instead of returning the money to the taxpayer, she thought the money was hers to spend as she wanted.
This episode along with the rip off at UNLV has pretty much has ended her political career. She can never again say she looks out for the taxpayer dollar. There are so many political commercials that can be made against Titus about her wasting of taxpayer money.
