I Guess I Won't Be Going

Watch out Las Vegas, a rare tornado will hit Vegas on Friday. Brittany Spears will be in concert at the Palms nightclub, Rain. In other words, about 200 people will be let in, but not just anybody.
From Doug Elfman of the LVRJ: Fans and curiosity seekers have already started applying for free tickets to see Britney Spears sing for a MTV special Friday at the Palms nightclub Rain.
News of the show surprised entertainment sites Monday. Tickets are being handled for MTV through OnSetProductions.com/calendar — listed as “6:00 PM—MTV Special.”
“DO YOU WANT TO ATTEND MTV's BRITNEY SPEARS SPECIAL in LAS VEGAS?” the site asks. “We are casting HUGE fans of Britney Spears to be a part of an MTV Special in Las Vegas.”
As a casting call, tickets are not first-come first-serve. Fans are being selected individually.
Britney is using the show to kick off next Tuesday’s release of her first album in two years, “Femme Fatale.”
But that seventh studio album is streaming online already.
She’s now 29 and a few years beyond a meltdown of ambulances and hospitals.

But it is nice to see Spears in the headlines for this rather than getting married and divorced in Vegas in addition her self abusive behavior.
This is the only song I know Spears sings, which is 1 more I want to admit to.
