Labor leaders and liberals are calling of boycotts of businesses that support conservatives. From jsonline: On Thursday, unions representing the Wisconsin Professional Police Association; the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin; the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 311; Madison Teachers Inc.; Green Bay Education Association; Dane County Deputy Sheriff's Association; and the Madison Professional Police Officers Association said it would boycott M&I Bank if the bank does not begin publicly opposing Gov. Scott Walker's efforts to curtail collective bargaining for public workers.
On Friday, Kwik Trip was added. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/117798733.html?page=4
And there are more companies are boycotting.
So I will boycott the following companies that are liberal:
Ben and Jerrys
Progressive Insurance
And any Strip property that allows the SEIU labor union on it's properities. This includes MGM and it's properties and Harrahs and it's properties. This is for their support of Harry Reid and it's last election.
Of course, boycotts genrally don't hurt the management and owners of the companies they boycott. They hurt the employees in their stores or banks. Yep, if the liberals want to boycott, I can also.

$5k/yr from you vs a billion dollars. good luck with that.
ReplyDeleteI understand, 1 person won't make a diffrence, especially with the MGM and Harrahs, who don't care about locals.
ReplyDeleteNo MGM or Harrah's? That's most of the strip! Of course being locals, we don't go there anyway, do we, DAN? Hah! Now, do Station Casinos or Boyd Gaming have SEIU? Silverton? South Point? Then you'd be talking. . .
ReplyDeleteI do go to the Strip now and then, not as much as before.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure about the SEIU in the other hotels, but they also were not doing dirty tricks during the election of dirty Harry Reid.
