What The Hell Is He Scared Of?

Sheldon is a very rich man and owns many casinos in Las Vegas, China and other places. But it also seems he is quite paranoid.
Adelson is being sued for refusing to pay overtime to his driver and his armed security detail. He was ordered to give a deposition but he whined and cried that the law offices he was going to give a deposition was just too unsafe.
From the Las Vegas Sun: Las Vegas Sands Corp. Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson will have to appear at a Las Vegas law office for a deposition in an overtime case against him, a judge ruled today in rejecting claims this would endanger Adelson’s security.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Carl Hoffman rejected a motion by attorneys for the casino billionaire that he order that Adelson’s deposition in an overtime lawsuit be held at Adelson’s secure office or at the equally secure federal courthouse....
Attorney Patrick Hicks, representing Adelson, said the billionaire is involved in political causes and security is a paramount concern for him. Hicks noted Campbell’s office is on a corner in a residential area a few blocks from the courthouse and is not in a gated community.

This guy has as many security guards as Crybaby Harry Reid has, maybe more. Why, because he is involved in political causes? Hell, then most bloggers, politicians, journalists and people who donate to political campaigns would need security.
Adelson is a little paranoid man who also likes to abuse people, it seems. Maybe that is how he became so successful, if having a boatload security around you 24 hours a day means you are successful.
