Happy 149th birthday to Nevada.
All state and local government offices are closed along with the state's schools.
Of course, essential services like police, fire and the marriage bureau are still open.
And like most holidays, private businesses are still open, especially the casino's and brothels.
So, happy birthday to Nevada and allowing us government employees to have a long 3 day holiday.
