Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a man in his late 20s was found dead in an alley in the 7600 block of South Carpenter Street around 7:30 a.m. Sunday on the Far South Side. He suffered a laceration to his throat, authorities said.
Authorities aren’t releasing the man’s name pending family notification.
It was the second fatal shooting of the weekend in the city’s Roseland neighborhood.
On Saturday night two men were shot — and one was killed — in an apparent drive-by near 110th and Vernon, authorities.
Police said the two men were standing outside and were shot by someone in a dark-colored SUV around 10:25 p.m. http://www.suntimes.com/22999294-761/4-dead-12-injured-in-weekend-violence-across-city.html
President Obama, who is from Chicago and still owns a home in Chicago that is guarded by the Secret Service still has not any thing to help stop the violence in Chicago.
What a pathetic POS.
