Something is Wrong Here

A stranger finds a 6 year old child walking down the street in North Las Vegas and picks the kid up and holds the kids for several hours and a jury finds that the woman did not commit the crime.

It started on Sept. 8th of 2008. Laurinda Drake saw a child walk away from school. The child left school because he was feeling well. Drake saw the child on the side of the street. instead of calling for the police or school officials, she picked up the kid and kept the child for 90 minutes. She didn't feel comfortable leaving the child with school officials because she thought the kid could be in more danger.
No matter how you feel about it, you do not keep a child that is not yours without parent permission and it is acrime. should she have punished severely, no, there was no damage to the child, but it is still not right.

NAACP Against Free Speech

The Miami-Dade NAACP is throwing a temper tantrum and acting like a spoiled child looking for a little attention.
They want NASCAR to ban people from wearing or otherwise showing off the Confederate Flag at the season finale at the Miami-Homestead race in November. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,522203,00.html?test=latestnews
Keep in that NASCAR does not allow any of it's drivers or merchandise to use the confederate flag. The race track does not allow large confederate flags inside the track. But the NAACP wants them to ban the flag anyways. They don't spectators to wear the flag on their T-shirts or display the flag anywhere. Even the ACLU thinks they are nuts.
One thing to the cry babies over at the NAACP- grow up and act like adults- not like little children wanting to be the center of attention.

What's Wrong With This Picture?

From today's jsonline: North Shore firefighters arrived at the scene to find fire in the back of the structure. The call later was upgraded to a second alarm with mutual aid fire departments responding form Thiensville, Cedarburg, Menomonee Falls, West Allis, Wauwatosa and St. Francis, according to Boehlke.

Why wasn't the Milwaukee Fire Dpartment involved? They had St. Francis drive across the City of Milwaukee to fight a fire or staff a station. Engine 18 located at 3628 N. Holton Street, is just a short distance from the fire scene. Why can't the MFD cooperate with other communities? Just wondering.

Welcome to my first post

Welcome to my first post. Since I doubt anyone will be reading this (I have not advertised it yet), I pretty much can write what I want.
This blog is going to be about politics on a national level, along with posts about Wisconsin and Nevada. I have read many blogs from Wisconsin, but there are just not that many good blogs in Nevada, as far as I can see.Nevada and Wisconsin are experiencing similar problems and it is interesting to compare the two areas.
I will also inject a little bit of humor into the blog and some of my favorite videos.
If anyone dares to comment, please keep it civil and respectful. However if you decide to be obnoxious, then expect the same treatment. I will treat you as you treat me.
While I am mostly conservative, I am moderate is some areas. So, if you are looking for consistency, forget about it. I call them as I see them.
