Heat wave At North Pole Caused By...Nature

From Fox News:
There has been a heat wave of sorts in the North Pole this week that might even have Santa trading in his sleigh for swim trunks.
Temperatures were as much as 50 degrees above average on Wednesday– almost reaching 32 degrees Fahrenheit in portions of the Arctic Circle that average 20 below zero at this time of year.
Meteorologists and experts at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration blame the strange weather on winter cyclones over the Atlantic near Iceland that pushed warm air far up from the south. Another storm in the Arctic north of Greenland - helped by low-pressure system that also produced blizzards in New Mexico, tornadoes in Texas and flooding in Missouri - was also to blame.
“A series of cyclones lined up over the Arctic and North Pole to Iceland (where Cyclone Frank crossed),” Ryan Maue, a meteorologist for WeatherBell a private weather forecasting company based in NYC, told by email.
“The combined flow at all levels of atmosphere was directed from the Atlantic over the Arctic and into Siberia,” he said. “Thus, warmer and moister marine air from Atlantic traveled over the Pole and raised temps to near or at freezing for a few hours.  However, the warm advection event was short lived and temps are closer to normal well below 0.”
Of course you will find idiots like President Obama and Al Gore and their ilk say/scream "Global Warming".
But it's nature just being nature.
Though I find it kind of strange that the North Pole was warmer at times than Kingman, AZ., where we have low temps in the teens and low 20's for the past couple of weeks.

He Should Know

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
From Deadline:
“How many world leaders do you think are just completely out of their mind?” Seinfeld asks, one of the better interviews conducted with Obama during his presidency.
“A pretty sizable percentage,” Obama answered, continuing what Comedy Central late-night host Larry Wilmore has dubbed Obama’s “Doesn’t Give a F•ck” year in office.
Well, at the top of the list would be the leader from North Korea, Iran and about in 3rd or 4th place would be Obama.  He is certifiably  insane or at  the minimum, has serious mental illness problems.
And as the chief diplomat of the United States, his comment was not funny.

Las Vegas Cops Shoot Unarmed Black Thug

Will there be riots and protests or will the racist brothers of Al, Jesse and Barack make demands or march in Las Vegas?
From the LVRJ: Las Vegas police said they thought a man they shot and killed in the west valley Thursday afternoon was holding a gun.
Instead, the man was holding a cell phone in his right hand, hidden from view as he approached officers. He did not follow multiple orders to stop, show his hand and drop what he was holding, Metro Capt. Matt McCarthy said. So officers shot him "several" times.
The man was wanted out of Arizona on violent felonies, and U.S. Marshals were conducting surveillance on him just before the shooting. But around 2 p.m. he fled into the Monaco Cove planned community, just north of Desert Breeze park, and Metro said the marshals asked police for help.
As officers started twisted through the neighborhood's winding roads, they were told the man was wanted for attempted murder. And as they looked for him, Lori Denehy, 36, was on her driveway, packing up her camper for a weekend trip.
Three of Denehy's children, ages 7, 5 and 3, were playing next to her on the lawn. That's when an unmarked patrol car sped north in front of her Maple Valley Street home, then swerved into a U-turn and pulled up next to her.
The officer asked if she'd seen a black man running. When she said no, he told her, "Go inside and lock all your doors."
All you have to do when the cops ask you to stop, raise your hands and drop whatever you have in your hands and you won't get shot.
And if Al or Jesse want to come and march in Las Vegas, don't be surprised if there is some serious backlash against them.  If Obama tries to make an issue of it, he will be laughed as well he should be, since he is such a clown and a half.

Dish TV Sucks

Well, we got back from California around 4:00 this morning.
We expected to watch a little TV to calm us down before we went to bed and we turned on our TV...nothing..nada...zilch.
We get the message saying the DVR has suffered a catastrophic error, in other words, the DVR died.
So, we called up Dish and they said there was nothing we could do and that we would be sent a new DVR in 4 days or so- not sure if that counts weekends and the holidays.
And the Dish person also said, in a rather non-caring voice, that everything saved to the DVR was lost, or about 99 hours of our favorite movies, TV shows, sporting events- everything.
So, it will be fairly quiet with no TV for the next several days.  I get to miss some of the bowl games, the Packer-Viking games and whatever else that is on this weekend.
Almost like living like the Amish.

Blogger Update

I am in Castiac, CA, located in Eastern Los Angeles County.  Despite beliefs that Los Angeles County is warm and sunny, it is about 40 degrees with a windchil in the upper 20's.
We are here to visit my wife's grandma who is very sick.
We will be here for 2 nights so blogging will be light.
To my friends in Wisconsin, it's about time you had a winter. I was getting tired of being colder than you.

They Sure Do Things Big In Texas

At the same time, earlier today and yesterday, Texas was under the following weather warnings/advisories:
Tornado warning
Severe thunderstorm warning
Blizzard warning
Winter storm warning
Flash flood warning
Winter weather advisory
Tornado watch
Flood warning
Wind advisory
Lake wind advisory
Flash flood watch
Severe thunderstorm watch
That's all.
I'm pretty sure the folks at the NWS will have some serious overtime this weekend and well deserved.

How True, Thanks To Ted Cruz

View image on Twitter
You probably can add about 200+ news papers, NPR, PBS, CNN, the 3 main TV networks and most cable TV stations, which may include Fox News- who really doesn't like Cruz.
Sorry that Cruz insults the poor little weiner dogs, though.

49 Out 50 Has Some Kind Of Weather Warning/Advisory

The only state without a warning or advisory is Vermont.  well, they don't matter much, anyways.
This is an interactive map and the map changes constantly.
But weather is a changing.
I blame climate change caused by President Obama flying to Hawaii with his entourage, along with 3 airplanes including 2 747's.  That's a huge carbon footprint and a lot of pollution.
Watch out if the storms in Texas/Southwest mixes up with the storm in the Midwest- that could be one hell of a storm.

Guns Save Another Person

From the LVRJ:
A teenager fatally shot by a homeowner when police said he and another teen were burglarizing a central valley house on Wednesday has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office.
Manquise Leshon Adams, 17, of Glendale, Ariz., was shot in the head and neck, coroner's office staff said Friday.
Another boy, also 17, was shot twice and was listed in critical condition at University Medical Center, Las Vegas police said Wednesday.
Police received a call about a burglary at 11:16 a.m. in the 1400 block of Daybreak Road, near Torrey Pines and Vegas drives.
The homeowner, only described as a man, had been sleeping upstairs and heard a crash, police said. He grabbed a gun, and first shot the other teenager through a window.
After, the man told detectives, he saw Adams coming upstairs and also shot him, police said. Adams died at the doorway.
Officers found the first boy shot bleeding and moaning in the backyard of an adjoining home, police said. He had surgery at UMC.
Anti gun nuts don't want you to know about these instances where guns saves lives.  Fools like the politicians in New York, California and Chicago.
A thug is dead because the homeowner was prepared and that is a good thing.

Buying Meth? Don't Buy It With A Wal-Mart Card

From the Havre Daily News:
A Havre man is accused of receiving a shipment through FedEx of methamphetamine that he paid for with a Walmart card.
Stefan Hickel is being charged with attempted criminal possession with intent to distribute and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
A FedEx employee called a Tri-Agency Task Force agent to inform him the company received a suspicious package that was to be delivered to a 2nd Street Havre address, a charging document says. The employee told the agent that another FedEx employee thought the package suspicious and opened it. The FedEx employees determined that the contents of the package was crystal meth.
The FedEx employee asked the agent what he wanted him to do with the box. The agent had the package forwarded to him and he took custody of it Aug. 26, 2014, the document says.
The agent obtained a warrant, after which he had the substance tested and validated as meth — 10.4 grams of it.
Once he was granted another warrant, the same day, the agent repackaged the box that was discovered at the Great Falls FedEx and delivered it to the Havre address himself, posing as a FedEx employee. A man the agent recognized as Hickel opened the door — Hickel had been mentioned by informants earlier in the year — signed someone else's name, and received the package, the document says.
My guess that if you use Fed Ex for delivery and use a Wal-Mart card to buy meth, it probably will not work out well for you.

They Should Have No Problem Finding Her

From Fox News:
Police in San Diego were searching late Thursday for a heavyset woman with facial hair who is suspected of stabbing a man.
Investigators said the incident occurred in the citiy's East Village neighborhood at approximately 7:40 p.m. local time Wednesday.
Police spokesman Robert Heims told Fox 5 San Diego that the 39-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, walked up to a group of people and asked for a cigarette.
At that point, Heims said, the woman walked up to the victim and told him to get away from her things. She then stabbed him on the left side of his neck.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene, and is described by police as a white woman "with a beard", weighing approximately 400 pounds and wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.
I would first see if the circus was in town and go on from there.

Obama/Hillary Muslim Loving Is Shown Up Again

From Fox News:
A powerful report by the U.K. government accuses the Muslim Brotherhood of being sympathetic to terrorists and a risk to British national security, striking a contrast with the Obama administration’s more conciliatory approach – and fueling criticism that the U.S. government should wake up to the threat.
“I think the report is a damning indictment of the Muslim Brotherhood, and it’s a very realistic assessment of the nature of the Brotherhood itself,” Nile Gardiner, director of the Heritage Foundation's Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, told “The British government has taken a far more serious approach compared to the Obama administration’s.”
The internal review of the Muslim Brotherhood was ordered by Prime Minister David Cameron in April 2014 and while the report is classified, Cameron ordered the main findings of the report to be made public.
The report found that supporting Hamas was an important priority for the Brotherhood. It noted that while the group at times has renounced violence, senior figures have repeatedly defended Hamas attacks on Israel and justified attacks against coalition forces in the U.S. and Afghanistan.
Also, while the Muslim Brotherhood has criticized Al Qaeda, leaders have claimed that the 9/11 attacks were fabricated by the U.S. government, and that the war on terror is merely a pretext to attack Muslim countries.
The report concludes that while the Brotherhood has preferred non-violent methods on the grounds of expediency, “they are prepared to countenance violence – including, from time to time, terrorism – where gradualism is ineffective.”
Obama and Hillary have shown their love towards the Muslim Brotherhood and once again and Obama and Hillary have been shown to be seriously lacking in common sense judgment.
Just another reason why Obama is the radical/extremist muslim's best friend and Hillary shows her serious lack of good judgment that she is not capable of being president.

Hell Has A Special Place For These Drug Addicted Thugs

Even if you are an atheist who doesn't believe in the death penalty, you would have to agree that these thugs have forfeit
ed to live any more.
From NY Daily News: A toddler died after his drug-addicted parents neglected him for up to 38 hours to do meth.
On Dec. 18, Lucas Russell Barnes, 25, and Kathleen Peacock, 22, put their 2-year-old son Braydon Barnes in a back room at their St. Charles mobile home, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
The parents then turned a space heater on and left the room to go do meth over the weekend, police said. A court record claimed no one checked at 11 a.m. and found their dead child.
Well, these thug parent may have thought they were covered by many so
[[[[[[[[cial agencies, the fact she apparently missed a meeting or r3 or 4 misspell4d

Why The GOP Establishment/Leaders Suck

He's not the first and won't be the last.
From Fox New:
Evangelist Franklin Graham announced Tuesday he is leaving the Republican Party over the GOP-led spending bill passed last week, calling it “wasteful” and likening funding of Planned Parenthood to Nazi concentration camps.
“Shame on the Republicans and the Democrats for passing such a wasteful spending bill last week,” he said.  “And to top it off, funding Planned Parenthood!”
“Seeing and hearing Planned Parenthood talk nonchalantly about selling baby parts from aborted fetuses with utter disregard for human life is reminiscent of Joseph Mengele and the Nazi concentration camps!,” he wrote. “That should’ve been all that was needed to turn off the faucet for their funding. Nothing was done to trim this 2,000 page, $1.1 trillion budget.”
Graham, who has supported GOP White House hopeful Donald Trump as well as embraced his controversial call to ban Muslims from the U.S., said he’s lost faith in the political system.
“I have no hope in the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, or Tea Party to do what is best for America,” he wrote. “Unless more godly men and women get in this process and change this wicked system, our country is in for trouble.”
There are many people who support certain GOP presidential candidates for president but they don't support the GOP establishment who are led by Mitch McConnell, Karl Rove, Paul Ryan/John Boehner and the head of the GOP, Reince Priebus.
Sadly, 2 of these clowns are from my home state of Wisconsin- Ryan and Priebus and us conservatives are not proud of them.
So, Graham may leave the GOP but where else can he go?  Certainly not the Democrats, so who does he turn to?
Maybe we need to get a 3rd party to challenge the GOP.  Yes, it will cost conservatives in the short term but in the long term, maybe it will benefit a 3rd party or turn the GOP more conservative.
Time will tell.

People Are Pigs

Image result for picture of h pigs
If you work in retail or work directly with customers, you know this time of year, people are pigs, slobs and a pain in the ass.
At the big box store I work part time at (and it rhymes with Wal-Mart but add a "K" to Mart), people are just pigs.
They will take blankets out of there packages and then throw the package and blanket into 2 separate piles instead of trying to refold the blanket.
The customers decided that they will leave their shopping carts wherever they please, in the parking lot, a block away from the parking lot.  Is it so hard not to put the carts in the cart corral?
If they find a product they like but if they find something better, they don't bring the first product they had back to it's home, they leave it where they have decided they don't want it.
And the worse, while New Years bring out the amateur drinkers, Christmas shopping bring out the worst drivers, especially the elderly.
It is scary to watch elderly, mostly women, try and drive right after they could not figure how to go out the doors.  The don't know to go out the "out" door- they try to go out the open door and can't figure out why the electric door "in" door doesn't open.
It's scary when the elderly cannot understand how to use a credit or debit card.
It is scary to see the mostly elderly people, riding the electric scooters to shop and they keep running into things like shelves and other fixed objects and then get into their cars and drive away.
So, Christmas is a time when people, who have been hibernating for the past 11 and 1/2 months come out and go shopping and clearly, these people are scary and/or are just flat out pigs and slobs. (And sorry for insulting the pigs)

Update: Conservative Buys LVRJ, Liberals Heads Explodes

The Las Vegas Review Journal has been sold again and this time, to a true conservative, Sheldon Adelson, one of the GOP kingmakers.
And now, the liberal head heads, especially those at the LVRJ, have now exploded.
The LVRJ used to be one of the last conservative newspapers int he united states and now a true conservative owns it.
Because of this, the liberal editor of the LVRJ has resigned.  Good riddance because the LVRJ news articles have become more liberal and the writers put a liberal slant on the news.
The left thinks they should have a monopoly on ownership of newspapers.  They also believe that all newspaper writers along with editorial and columnist writers all need to belong on the liberal plantation.
Just like they believe all Blacks and Hispanics need to be liberal.
All females need to be liberal.
All college professors need to be liberal.
All K-12 school teachers need to be liberal. (Sorry, but this high school teacher refuses to be brought down by the liberals, and there are a lot more of conservative teachers than you think)
So, I really hope the new owners of the LVRJ will make the liberal writers leave and that the news articles will just report the news and not put their liberal or conservatives views in the news story.
As far as the editorial page, heck, make it conservative so there is at least 1 conservative voice out there.
Time will tell how this works out.

Head Of FIFA Suspended For 8 Years

This is like the NFL suspending Roger Goddell for 8 years for misconduct.
From the NY Daily News: FIFA's ethics committee banned Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini for eight years from all soccer-related activities in verdicts announced Monday.
Platini's bid to succeed Blatter as FIFA president in a Feb. 26 election is now likely ended.
Ethics judges ruled that Blatter broke FIFA Code of Ethics rules on conflicts of interest, breach of loyalty and offering gifts.
Platini broke rules on conflict of interest and loyalty.
Both denied wrongdoing in 2011 when Platini took $2 million of FIFA money approved by Blatter as uncontracted salary for work as a presidential adviser from 1999-2002.
Blatter was fined 50,000 Swiss francs ($50,250) and Platini was fined 80,000 Swiss francs ($80,400).
"Neither in his written statement nor in his personal hearing was Mr. Blatter able to demonstrate another legal basis for this payment," the judges said. "By failing to place FIFA's interests first and abstain from doing anything which could be contrary to FIFA's interests, Mr. Blatter violated his fiduciary duty to FIFA.
"Mr. Platini failed to act with complete credibility and integrity, showing unawareness of the importance of his duties and concomitant obligations and responsibilities," the judges said.
Blatter and Platini previously said they would challenge any sanctions, at the FIFA appeals committee then the Court of Arbitration for Sport.  Platini broke rules on conflict of interest and loyalty.
Soccer is one the most corrupt sports there is and one hopes that all corruption is investigated including the awarding World Cup tournaments to Russia and The United Arab Emirates.

If Not Terrorism, Then What?

From Fox News:
Las Vegas police said late Sunday that a woman who drove her car into a crowd of pedestrians along the Strip, killing at least one person and injuring 37 others, may have done so intentionally.
Police Capt. Brett Zimmerman told the Associated Press that while terrorism has been ruled out, the driver appeared to turn onto the sidewalk, hitting pedestrians, before going back into the street. She then drove onto the sidewalk again at a different spot of Las Vegas Boulevard, hitting others. Zimmerman said police are reviewing video from casino-hotel surveillance cameras.
Of the injured, six were in critical condition, 26 injured and four were treated and released, according to  Lt. Peter Boffelli, who called the crash "a huge tragedy."
"We know this was not an act of terrorism," Zimmerman said. "We will comb through that footage to get a detailed idea of what occurred. Right now from what we know, we're looking at it possibly being intentional."
The crash took place at around 6:40 p.m. local time on a stretch of the Strip that includes the Planet Hollywood resort, where the Miss Universe pageant was taking place Sunday evening. There was no indication that the crash was connected to the pageant.

Lt. Dan McGrath said the 1996 Oldsmobile was not registered to Nevada and the driver had recently moved to the area. Zimmerman said that neither the woman nor a three-year-old child who was in the car with her were seriously injured.
KSNV reported that the woman drove away from the scene and turned herself in to security at the Tuscany Suites and Casino, which is located on Flamingo Road, east of the Strip. The station also reported that the woman was undergoing a field sobriety test.
Joel Ortega, 31, of Redlands, California, said he and his wife, Carla, were in Las Vegas for the weekend and found themselves blocked from walking on the sidewalk toward the Paris Hotel & Casino. They could see police investigating about a block awayfrom the scene of the crash.
"At first, I thought it was a movie shoot," Joel Ortega said, "I thought maybe we'd see someone famous."
But then they learned that it was a crash scene. Joel Ortega said it made them remember how their neighborhood was disrupted after the Dec. 2 mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, near their home.
Those in critical condition are being treated at University Medical Center, Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and Spring Valley Hospital.
So, if it was not terrorism, then what?  I guess, right after the shootings in San Bernardino, the initial reports was that it was not a case of terrorism and then, only after a few days, was the shooting classified as terrorism.  In fact, President Obama probably still thinks it was a work place act of violence.
If it was not terrorism, then what was the reason why this female thug drove onto the sidewalk, hit some people, drove back on the road and then drove back on the road and finished killing and injuring the rest of her victims?
No matter what, RIP to the dead person and prayers and thoughts with the injured and everyone's families.

Look: Someone Dumber Than Beauty Pagent Contestents

Image result for image+ double facepalm
From Fox News:
Miss Universe pageant host Steve Harvey announced the wrong winner at the end of Sunday night's big show in Las Vegas and was forced to make an embarrassing apology.
After announcing Miss USA, Olivia Jordan, as the third runner-up, Harvey initially named Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, as the night's big winner, relegating the remaining contestant, Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurzbach, to the second runner-up spot.
But after Arevalo received the crown and a bouquet of flowers, Harvey announced he had made an error and that Wurzbach was in fact the winner.
A stunned Wurzbach, who had taken her place with the other contestants behind Arevalo, then walked out to center stage. Last year's Miss Universe, Colombia's Paulina Vega, then removed the crown from Avrevalo's head and placed it on Wurtzbach.
With both pageant contestants standing at the front of the stage, the show concluded.
Harvey, who was hosting the contest for the first time, held up the card announcing the order of finishers for Fox network cameras to see up close afterward. He said he re-read the card and noticed it said "first runner-up" next to the Colombia contestant's name before he asked producers if he had made a mistake. Talking with reporters afterward, Harvey and an executive for pageant owner WME-IMG called it human error.
"Nobody feels worse about this than me," Harvey said.
In addition to his on-air apology, Harvey expressed contrition on social media. However, he initially misspelled the home countries of both contestants before also fixing that.
Geez, Steve, what were you smoking or drinking to make these mistakes?
The stereotype of beauty pageants is that the women are big breasted and small brained.
I guess the stereotype of beauty pageant TV hosts are well hung and a brain IQ to match their penis size.

Shocking, I Tell You, Just Shocking

From Arizona Central:
The owner of a Phoenix used-car dealership who admitted defrauding dozens of desperate customers is a longtime employee of the Internal Revenue Service.
At the same time Gina Colombo told authorities that she took advantage of poor and non-English-speaking customers at Uncle Joe's Auto Sales, she also worked at the IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center in Phoenix.
An investigation by The Arizona Republic found that Colombo has been employed by the IRS since 1998 — and she remained employed after state prosecutors shut down Uncle Joe's and filed a consumer-fraud lawsuit against Colombo and her husband, Joseph Carrecia, in March.
Neither Colombo nor Carrecia returned messages left at their homes and offices.
IRS officials last week confirmed Colombo's employment. They would not explain whether her admissions of fraud in the civil lawsuit preclude her from working for the agency.
Let's see:
A person who has defrauded people...
A person who has put undo pressure on clients...
A person who is unethical.
Yep, what a great fit for the IRS.

Life Imitates Waldo

Where's Hillary?
Maybe she was going out for a shot and a beer?
Hell, if she did that, I might even vote for her.
From the NY Daily News: ABC News went on without Hillary Clinton at its Democratic debate Saturday when the presidential candidate failed to return to her podium during a commercial break.
The former Secretary of State sauntered on stage with a brief apology just as U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders fielded a question from moderator David Muir at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
“Sorry,” Clinton said as she entered from stage right.
It’s unclear what kept Clinton backstage as Sanders and former Maryland Governor Mark O’Malley waited awkwardly by their podiums. Even the debates hosts, Muir and Martha Raddatz wondered about the hold up after returning from the break.
Clinton broke the seal on her bathroom habits at a prior debate and said her trips demand more time than a commercial break allows.
I just wonder what the reaction by the main stream media would be if Donald Trump or any conservative did this?
I'm pretty sure the MSM would not have ignored it like they are pretty much doing right now,
So, why was Hillary late?  Did she need a drink?  Was she drunk?  Was she getting some advise from her handlers?  Or was she uploading data from her server that she had hid in her dressing room?
Whatever the reason, it's just another reason why Hillary just cannot be trusted.

What's The Difference Between Paul Ryan And Senile Harry Reid?

So, what is the difference between Senile/Coward/ Liar Harry Reid, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell?
Nothing, as far as I can see.
From Rush Limbaugh: The country was just sold down the river again by your very Republican Party.
I have a headline here from the Washington Times:  "White House Declares Total Victory Over GOP in Budget Battle." That headline's a misnomer.  There was never a battle.  None of this was opposed.  The Republican Party didn't stand up to any of it, and the die has been cast for a long time on this.  I know many of you are dispirited, depressed, angry, combination of all of that. But, folks, there was no other way this could go. Because two years ago when the Republican Party declared they would never do anything that would shut down the government and they would not impeach Obama, there were no obstacles in Obama's way and there were no obstacles in the way of the Democrat Party.
When you surrender the power of the purse -- and that's the primary power the House of Representatives has.  Not a penny of money can be spent in this country by this government without the House of Representatives authorizing it.  Obama can spend all he wants, but if the House doesn't give him the mechanism, he can't spend any of it.  But the Republicans squandered that.  They gave up the power of the purse.  The reason they did that is because for some inexplicable reason, they are literally paranoid and scared to death of even being accused of doing something that would shut down the government.....
It fully funds Planned Parenthood.  That, to me, is unforgivable, with everything now known about what goes on behind closed doors at Planned Parenthood, and that the federal government, led by a Republican Party, sees fit to pay for it.  It is beyond comprehension, and it is a total squandering of moral authority to fully fund the butchery at Planned Parenthood.  This spending bill fully pays for Obama's refugee plans, fully.  This spending bill, this budget bill quadruples the number of visas Obama wants for foreign workers.  This is even a slap at American union workers.  Not the leaders.  The union leaders seem to be in favor of it, but blue-collar people, known as working people, have been sold down the river along with everybody else here....
And instead they showed up in record numbers and they it turned out and they just defeated Democrats down the ballot. In the process, they elected Republicans to stop this.  And now the Republicans have the largest number of seats in the House they've had in Congress since the Civil War.  And it hasn't made any difference at all.  It is as though Nancy Pelosi is still running the House and Harry Reid is still running the Senate.  "Betrayed" is not even the word here.  What has happened here is worse than betrayal. Betrayal is pretty bad, but it's worse than that.
This was out-and-out, in-our-face lying, from the campaigns to individual statements made about the philosophical approach Republicans had to all this spending.  There is no Republican Party!  You know, we don't even need a Republican Party if they're gonna do this.  You know, just elect Democrats, disband the Republican Party, and let the Democrats run it, because that's what's happening anyway.  And these same Republican leaders doing this can't, for the life of them, figure out why Donald Trump has all the support that he has?  They really can't figure this out?
I rarely listen to Limbaugh, mainly because of the hours I work but I do listen to Sean Hannity and Mark Levin and Jerry Doyle and all 3 of these guys have been ripping the Republican Party for all the establishment crap the GOP is doing.
Clearly, the GOP leadership has no idea what it is doing.
Americans put the GOP into power in U.S. Congress to fight for GOP values and to put an end to President Obama's reign of terror.
But instead, the GOP leadership is in bed with Obama and the democrats.  The GOP leadership is supposed to leading the fight against Obama and the democrats.
But the GOP leadership, instead want to play nice with Obama.
So, once again, what is the difference between Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and President Obama and Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell?
Maybe we should call them Repuborats?

Anybody See The Problem Here?

From Politico: Bernie Sanders' campaign on Friday threatened to sue the Democratic Party for suspending its access to the national voter database, saying the move threatens to undermine the Vermont senator's presidential run.
The DNC suspended Sanders' access following the revelation that  anders staffers improperly reviewed Hillary Clinton campaign data made available as a result of a software error this week by political data technology company NGP VAN.
Read more:

So, if Hillary lost her data from her campaign, information that is top secret for campaigns, to Bernie Sanders, just how safe were Clinton's e-mails on her private server that was located in her mansion in New York?

Hell, if Bernie and his ilk can get that top secret information from Hillary, I'm pretty sure Russia, China, North Korea and others could have gotten classified/top secret information from Hillary's server.

Obama Has No Right to Lecture Us About Climate Change

Talk about a major league hypocrite.
From The daily Mil, UK (And no paper from the U.S.):
Barack Obama has been savaged by a top spending campaigner for taking the First Family on an eighth consecutive Christmas vacation to Hawaii, at huge expense to the American taxpayer.
The President was accused of treating Air Force One, which costs $206,000/hour to run, 'like an Uber ride' ahead of his next jaunt to his home state.
Fly-time alone will set taxpayers back somewhere in the region of $3.5million as Obama, the First Lady, Sasha and Malia and their two dogs jet off for around two weeks....
Tom Fitton, the head of the Judicial Watch pressure group, said Obama's holiday habit proves that he is out of touch - and has to stop.
He told 'The Obamas' travel is out of control. They are treating the Air Force One like an Uber ride.
'And President Obama seems oblivious to the burden he is placing on Americans with his continuous vacations, getaways, and political junkets at taxpayer expense.'
During the trips, the Obamas are accompanied by a substantial Secret Service detail, who costs thousands of dollars a day to accommodate in the idyllic vacation spot.
Local police also work overtime and an ambulance trails the Presidential party at all times in case of disaster - all of which will push the total further into the millions....
Exact figures for the trip - outside of Air Force One - are hard to obtain. According to a report on the 2014 trip, there is also an Air Force cargo plane to bring Obama's helicopter and limo, which costs more than $150,000 to get to Hawaii and back.
A second plane brings a Marine Corps contingent at similar cost.
So, a total of 3 jets are going to fly Obama, family and entourage to and from Hawaii and it is possible 4th plane might be possible if Michelle decides she can't stomach flying with Obama.
I wonder Obama is smart enough to realize how hypocritical he is, or is he just a plain old ignorant moron.
Not sure which one.
With him creating a bigger carbon footprint in this one vacation than I will ever hope to create, Obama and his ilk have no standing to lecture us on man made climate change.

Strange Newspaper Company Buy

From the LV Sun: Questions about who owns the Las Vegas Review-Journal and why they continue to refuse to come forward remained unanswered today, days after the publication sold for nearly $40 million more than the paper and its parent company sold for just nine months ago.
Greenspun said the backers of News + Media Capital Group LLC, which made the purchase, hadn’t revealed themselves to him, even though the Sun is published and distributed under a joint operating agreement with the R-J. The Sun receives a portion of the R-J’s revenue under the agreement, which is regulated by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Greenspun said he has a good idea of the new owner’s identity.
New Media Investment Group, which paid $102 million for the holdings of the R-J’s parent company, Stephens Media, in March, will continue to run the organization’s day-to-day operations. It is a publicly traded company, which netted $37.5 million in accepting News + Media’s offer of $140 million.
“I don’t think the R-J has made appreciably more money in the last eight months than prior to the sale,” Greenspun said. “How do you justify that premium? If you really want that newspaper and are willing to overpay, that tells me it is someone who is very wealthy who doesn’t particularly care about money. Power? Maybe.”
It does seem strange that 99.99% of the people don't know who bought the LVRJ.
And the liberals are going ape shit thinking that some conservative with lots of money bought the LVRJ, like maybe the Koch brothers.
Or it could be a person who doesn't like the lime light but thinks the LVRJ is a good buy, especially considering that the Las Vegas continues to grow at a fast pace and that means more subscribers and more advertising.
Liberals always seem to think that there is a spook behind every door and they are just in fear that there may actually be a conservative newspaper.

Good News, Bad News

Ouil prices are tanking and as with anything economic, there are winners and losers.
From Bloomberg: Oil held gains after rebounding from the lowest price since February 2009 as the U.S. Congress sought to advance on a deal to allow unfettered crude exports for the first time in 40 years.
Futures were steady in New York after rising 1.9 percent Monday, the first increase in seven days. Senate leaders faced resistance from some Republicans and House Democrats, who were willing to discuss lifting trade restrictions depending on concessions they’d get in exchange, according to a Democratic leadership aide. OPEC President Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu said the producers group may need a “very urgent meeting” if prices don’t recover by February.
Oil is trading at levels last seen during the global financial crisis after the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries effectively abandoned output limits as it sought to defend market share. Hedge funds and other large speculators raised bets on falling U.S. crude prices to a record while the International Energy Agency predicted the market will remain in surplus at least until late 2016.
So, some winners:
Truck drivers
Government Agencies that use a lot of gas, like police departments.
The military.
And the losers:
Oil producers
Countries that depend on their oil revenues, like Russia.
Oil workers, especially those in areas like North Dakota, Montana, Alberta, Canada.
Land owners with mineral rights. (I know of 1 man whose monthly income went from about $250,000 to $60,000- he owns 200,000 acres with about 100 wells on the land)
State and local governments that depend on oil tax revenue.
Local government agencies, including city, county and school districts that rely on oil revenue.
The above government agencies who now have to provide newly unemployed with government welfare.
President Obama because with all the cheap oil and gas, which he hates, now will have to do with more pollution as people will drive, fly and use gas more frequently than if it was at his favorite price, over $4 a gallon.
All, in all, I think the lower energy prices will help the economy in most areas but not all areas.

Too Bad For The Snowbirds

Snowbirds(Warmusupus) are a breed of bird, consisting of mostly elderly retired folk who migrate south for the winter from usually cold climates.  They are usually found in their native habitat of a travel trailer and sometimes they will travel in a flock of snowbirds.  They usually will leave their northern homes just after Labor Day and head back north around Memorial Day.
Many of these snowbirds end in Arizona, specifically, Mohave County, AZ.
Well, this year of El Nino, it has made these snowbirds minds all higgledy piggledy.
Well, this morning, snowbirds outside of the Colorado River basin ended up with snow on their travel trailer.
Tonight, the low will be about 25 degrees.
Tomorrow nights low will be 20 degrees F.
Meanwhile, up in Portland, Maine, way up in Northeast U.S., the low tonight will be 36 and tomorrow night will be 40 degrees F.
In Buffalo, NY, snow capitol of the world, the low tonight will be 30 and the low tomorrow night will be  30 degrees F.
Here is a picture of our beloved Snowbird:

You Think This Would Be Perfect Weather For It

From AZ Central: Tonight's scheduled Snowshoe Workshop at the Thorpe Park Adult Center has been canceled due to inclement weather. The Adult Center has been closed for the day (Monday, Dec. 14). If the workshop is rescheduled, it will be posted on the Daily Sun web calendar. Call 714-0504 for more information.
Of course, the inclement weather is a snow storm.
Today, in Kingman, AZ., I woke up with 1/2 inch of snow on the car.
Meanwhile, in Green Gay WI., they had almost 60 degree weather with rain yesterday evening during the Packer game.
Things are topsy turvey goofy all over because of El-Nino, or as climate change believers say, man made El Nino.

From Fox News: Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's high-profile desertion case was referred for trial by court-martial on Monday, in a blow to his defense team which had urged a lower-level referral.
Bergdahl was released from captivity last year in exchange for five Taliban detainees from Guantanamo Bay. He was later charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy, accused of abandoning his post before he was captured.
U.S. Army Forces Command announced Monday that both charges are being referred to a general court-martial.
An arraignment hearing date at Fort Bragg, N.C., has not yet been set.
Eugene Fidell, Bergdahl's attorney, said the convening authority did not follow the advice of the preliminary hearing officer who had recommended Bergdahl's case be moved only to a special misdemeanor-level military court.
By most written reports, Bergdahl is a traitor who deserted his post to go live with the Taliban.  So what if living with them wasn't easy, if he just stayed in his tent, he would not be in this position.

Once In A Blue Mood, He Is Right

From the Reno Gazette Journal./Jon Ralston:
The choreography was spectacular.
The governor loves the locals. The locals love the governor. The company loves everyone.
The assembled crowd applauded on cue. People were given credit who deserved it; people were given credit who did not deserve it.
It was an electrifying song and dance.
So much love in the Grant Sawyer Building foyer Thursday morning as Gov. Brian Sandoval announced Faraday Future will build a factory in North Las Vegas, the second green-energy carmaker in 15 months to declare its Nevadaphilia. Tesla in the North; Faraday in the South. This is … the New Nevada!
There is only one minor thing missing from the deal, projected to bring $85 billion into the economy after tax incentives and infrastructure grants of $300 million-plus are consumed: A product.
Unlike Tesla, which, you know, has a car, Faraday has no model X, Y or Z and won’t say when it will have one, but promises that the vehicle will be amazingly spectacular and wonderful – sort of like that news conference. Tesla was a gamble, but the quality and quantity was known; that was like playing poker with the cards facing up.
Even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in  awhile and finally, Ralston got his nut.
With gas below $2 a gallon, who is really in the market for an electrical car?
And this is a start up company with no history and Nevada is willing to lie down with them in bed and give the company anything they want.
This is probably going to end bad.

Yeah, That Will Reassure Us

From Fox News: President Obama this week will visit the Pentagon and the National Counterterrorism Center, high-profile stops to try to allay Americans' concerns about the growing domestic and global terror threat posed by the Islamic State (ISIS).
On Monday, Obama will visit the Pentagon where he is expected to further explain his plan to stop the extremist group. But he is not expected to announce any significant strategy changes.
The event follows his Dec. 6 Oval Office address that critics say didn’t reassure the public and failed to provide an updated strategy to stop ISIS.
So, Obama will visit the Pentagon and do what?
And he will visit the National Counterterrorism Center and do what?
It's just a ploy to please the uneducated person, who are Obama's supporters.
Just more empty political moves by an uneducated* president.
*Uneducated as in terms of is knowledge of real life.
Just because you have a college degree does not mean you are a smart person, and Obama is not a smart person.

Going To Be A Slow Blogging Week

The math just doesn't work out:
40 hours at my teaching job this week
40 hours at K-Mart
12 hours of driving time between home and school
And that equals about 92 hours  of work and driving time.
Which means, besides not getting enough beauty sleep, which I desperately need, especially the beauty part.
And not too much time for blogging., but I will do the best I can.

More Suckers Born Every Minute

So, the fools/liars/fraudsters, led by President Obama have come up with an agreement on climate change and how to screw taxpayers, business people and consumers.
From Fox News:
President Obama hailed the approval of a far-reaching global climate accord to limit greenhouse gas emissions adopted Saturday in Paris, in a statement from the White House Cabinet Room Saturday afternoon.
Praising the pact as a ‘turning point for the world,’ Obama commended leaders from more than 190 countries for working together “to show what is possible when the world stands as one.”
Leaders of the many nations involved had been negotiating the pact for four years after earlier attempts to reach such a deal failed.
Loud applause shook the large Paris conference hall where the talks were being held after French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius gaveled final approval of the agreement earlier in the day. Some delegates started crying. Others embraced.
“In short, this agreement will mean less of pollution that threatens our planet. Full implementation of this agreement and will pave the way for more progress in stages over the years. It sends a powerful signal: a low carbon future, in clean energy at a scale we have never seen before.” Obama said.
The pact, known as “the Paris agreement,” is supposed to take effect in 2020 and strives to limit global temperature rise even more, to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
I'm all for lessening pollution, especially voluntairyly.
But that is not what these fraudsters want to do.
Obama and his ilk will run and fly around in their big jets, creating more pollution than 99.9% of the evil American and then tell us we are the cause of pollution and climate change.
And today, it is freezing in the Mohave Desert with another string of snowstorms in the West, all caused by...nature and El Nino.
And all the predictions of the fraudsters about all the damage climate change will do?
It hasn't panned out yet.
And of course there are a bunch of scientists who claim they believe in climate change, as long as they get their money.
But there are also thousands of scientists who disagree with them.
For those who think that man causes climate change, I really feel sorry for you because you are just a very gullible person because you don't think for yourself.
Even though there are so many instances of fraud, like saying the Earth is warming at a rapid rate, in reality, there are also people say we are cooling.
But people who believe just want to be politically correct.
So, with regards to P.T. Barnum: "Don't worry about that, there's a sucker born every minute.".

Star Wars Idiots

From Arstechnica:
For the last decade, Marjorie Carvalho and her husband have produced Star Wars Action News, a podcast dedicated to Star Wars collectibles of all sorts. Predictably, they've had a lot to talk about, as waves of action figures and other collectibles have been launched in the run-up to the much-anticipated release of Star Wars: Episode VII—The Force Awakens next week.
On Tuesday, a SW Action News staffer saw something he shouldn't have—and bought it. A 3 3/4" action figure of "Rey," a female character from The Force Awakens, was on display in a Walmart in Iowa, apparently earlier than it should have been. The staff member bought it for $6.94 plus tax, no questions asked. The following day, he posted pictures of the Rey figure on SW Action News' Facebook page.
"Have we known this figure was coming?" the staffer, named Justin, asked in the post. "I just found her at Walmart—no new other figures."
A short time later, Carvalho got a surprising message.
"A friend texted my husband saying, hey, are you getting sued?" said Carvalho in an interview with Ars. The image from the Facebook post was gone. "We looked and noticed we'd gotten a notice from Facebook saying our image violated copyright. It was confusing because our staff member, Justin, he took the photo."
The image had quickly spread through social media—and just as fast, Lucasfilm, its owner Disney, and at least one third-party content policing company have blanketed the Internet with Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices.
So, to the idiots at Disney, Stars and DMCA, I double dog dare you to demand I take this picture down.
And my response to you will be to say F- you and post more stuff.
What a bunch of clowns.

There is Supposed To Be a Famous Movie Coming Out

I might be the Only one in the the civilized world that has never seen a Star War's movie.
Star Wars has never interested me and most movies, especially blockbusters don't.
Of the top 25 grossing movies of all time, I have never seen them in the theater, CD or on TV.
Of the top 100 movies of all time, I have seen a grand total of 18, all on TV or CD.
And I have no problem with not seeing movies because they rarely come out with a movie I like.
And from what I can tell, the quality of films, in my opinion are just not as good as the movies from the past.  Yes, the special effects are better and the acting is maybe a little better, the story lines and over all quality are completely lacking compared to movies from the past.
So, good Luck to the Star Wars people but I just won't be one of the few people who won't be seeing it.

In A Word: Yes

From the AZ. Central:
There are a couple of different ways summarize what happened in Tucson last Sunday.
There’s the vigilante version and the Good Samaritan version.
Version one: A man is shot dead by a another man for stealing beer from a Circle K.
Version two: An armed citizen chases down a thief and shoots him dead after he says the culprit turned and threatened him with a piece of wood.
Each of these versions is correct.
Neither is complete.
Tim Steller, the excellent writer for The Arizona Daily Star and, wrote a lengthy thought-provoking column about the events leading up to the death of 46-year-old Gerald Ramon, the beer thief.
The man who shot Ramon has not been charged, though police are still investigating.
At about 2:30 in the afternoon last Sunday Ramon is said to have entered the Circle K, lifted the beer and fled.
The store’s clerk didn’t chase him.
Clerks are trained not to do such things. Too many bad things have happened in previous incidents. There are cameras in the stores to help with identification of culprits. The investigation is left to the police.
Still, should a thief just be able to walk into a place and walk or run out with stolen merchandise?
Another customer in the store took off in pursuit.
According to news reports, the customer pulled a gun and shot Ramon after he said the beer thief turned and moved toward him with a “large log and holding it over his shoulder.”
We don’t know for sure if such a confrontation would have happened if Ramon had been pursued by a trained police officer. But since a mug shot of Ramon has been released, we'd presume he's had previous run-ins with authorities....
I know what some of you are thinking.
Crime is crime. Citizens must stand up for what is right.
I have no sympathy for thieves, either, and I admire anyone who is willing to take action in order to correct a wrong.
At the same time, should shoplifting beer be a capital offense?
If you are a robber, you take the chance of someone shooting and killing you, no matter what you stole.
The thug took the beer because he wanted to get drunk.
He didn't steal food because he was hungry.
He wasn't stealing for kids in his family.
He was stealing beer and a hero chased him down, which the thug didn't like, so he tried to swing a piece of wood at the hero.
Getting shot at and being killed is a hazard of the job when you are a robber.
Just like robbing houses and then hiding in a swamp, only to be eaten by an alligator.
Society is better off without the thug in it.
Good bye and good riddance to the thug.

From Fire Rescue 1: When crew members of a passenger plane reported sparks coming from an engine while taxiing at an airport in southern China, eight fire trucks responded within minutes. Then they covered the wrong plane with white foam.
The mistake at the Fuzhou city airport Thursday was quickly amended and the firefighters turned their attention to the correct plane, but the other one — with passengers aboard — was delayed 10 hours and the entire incident delayed 30 flights, the airport said in a statement.
The Air China flight had reported the problems in a right-side engine of a Boeing 737-800 for a flight headed to Beijing. By the time firefighters arrived four minutes later, engines were switched off. However, a Fuzhou Airlines plane of the same make had exhaust fumes coming from its tail.
The firefighters sprayed the Fuzhou Airlines plane with foam until the airport’s control center alerted them to the mistake, and then they sprayed the right plane, the airport said.
Fuzhou Airlines said its plane was covered with white foam and had to be towed away to check its engines. It took off about 10 hours later.
You know those Chines airplanes...they all look the same.

I Agree With Scalia

So, the left and senile Harry Reid are all in an uproar  about comments Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said about race.
From the LA Times: The Congressional Black Caucus, civil rights lawyers and Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) denounced Justice Antonin Scalia on Thursday for what they said were racist and insulting comments in which he suggested some black students might be better off in a "slower-track school" rather than at a more competitive university.
"It is deeply disturbing to hear a Supreme Court justice endorse racist ideas from the bench of the nation's highest court," Reid said on the Senate floor. "The only difference between the ideas endorsed by [Donald] Trump and While not posing a question Scalia is that Scalia has a robe and a lifetime appointment."....
directly, Scalia said he questioned whether admitting more black students would benefit them or the university.
"There are those who contend that it does not benefit African Americans to get into the University of Texas where they do not do well, as opposed to having them go to a less-advanced school, a slower-track school, where they do well," Scalia said. He cited a brief that, he said, "pointed out that most of the black scientists in this country don't come from schools like the University of Texas. They come from lesser schools" where they do not feel they're being pushed in classes "that are too fast for them."
I have some authority to speak on this as for the past 20 years, I have been a teacher in high schools, mostly in inner city schools where minority population of the schools were between 95-99% minority.
The fact is that these students in these inner city schools receive very crappy education for a verity of reasons.  One, the teachers and administrations are bad and don't care about these schools.
Then you have students who cause problems by disrupting school, disrupting class or the opposite, sleeping their high school career away in class, if they ever go to school.
Then some of these minorities and some dumb white kids get admitted to the universities and they can't handle college- they don't have the skills to attend college, much less top tier schools.
These colleges have to institute college prep classes to a great deal of minority freshman because they don't know the basics of entry level college classes.
So, it might be better to go to lower tier school, including community college to start their college careers.
which I did.  I started at Madison Area Technical  College in Madison, WI., a community college.  After 2 years, I transferred to U.W. Madison, a top tier school, especially in the School of Education where it was ranked in the top 10 of all U.S. colleges...supposedly.
So, I agree with Scalia, minority students who come from inner city schools and are unprepared for college are much better off going to a community college than starting at top tier school and then flunking out.

Now Trump Is A Nazi

It really is amusing when liberals act like fools.
Now, the liberal NY Daily  News is comparing Donald trumps to Nazis.
From the morons at the NY Daily News and their headline:
Donald Trump’s disturbing desire to ban Muslims in the U.S. has sinister Nazi echo
Seriously, the left is so damn afraid of Trump they are crapping in their pants.

Can Golden State Get To 34 Straight Wins?

The Golden state Warriors already own the best start to a regular season by winning 23 straight games.
The NBA league record for a wining streak is 33 games by the L.A. Lakers in 1971-72.
So, can Golden state make to 34 to set the record?
Well, they play the Milwaukee Bucks  2 times who stink, the Boston Celtics who are 12-9, Phoenix Suns, who stink, Utah Jazz who are below .500, Cleveland Cavilers, who are quite good with LaBron but they play in California, Sacramento Kings, who stink, at Dallas who are good, at Houston who are below .500, Denver Nuggets who stink and finally, the Charlotte Hornets who are decent but again the game is in California.
So, can they do it?
Will they do it?  I think Dallas will beat them, but it will be interesting to see what happens.

This Sucks For The Gator

Anopther candidate for the Darwin Award.
From Fox News:
A suspected burglar jumped in a Florida lake apparently hiding from law enforcement before an 11-foot alligator killed him, investigators said Monday. His hand and foot reportedly turned up inside the animal's stomach.
Brevard County Sheriff's Maj. Tod Goodyear says 22-year-old Matthew Riggins told his girlfriend he would be in Barefoot Bay to commit burglaries with another suspect. Authorities received calls Nov. 13 about two suspicious men in black walking behind homes and investigated. Riggins was reported missing the next day.
Goodyear said sheriff's divers recovered Riggins' body 10 days later in a nearby lake, and that the injuries suggested the alligator had pulled him below the surface. "He hid in the wrong place," resident Laura Farris told Bay News 9.
Authorities said Riggins drowned and the alligator, which behaved aggressively toward divers, was trapped and euthanized.
Florida Today reports a second person was taken into custody.
I feel bad for the alligator.
Here, he eats a criminal- no big loss and then the cops go after the gator to retrieve body parts and the gator does what gator do- they get aggressive.
And then the cops kill the gator, who was just being an unarmed (well, maybe he ate the thugs arm- so he would be armed, technically)
I think the FBI, DOJ and Obama should start an investigation and bring charges against the cops for violating the gator's civil rights, while Jesse and Al form a march for the gator.
