Now compare the upheaval over Kimani’s shooting death in New York to the fallout behind the brutal murder of 6-month-old Jonylah Watkins in Chicago.
As expected, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy publicly condemned the appalling act. Also, a couple of African-American aldermen joined Ald. Willie Cochran’s (20th) call for gangs to stop harboring people who shoot innocent bystanders.
“Innocent victims are unacceptable. They are out-of-bounds. They’re off limits,” Cochran said.
But where were the other 47 aldermen?
An undisputable innocent was killed on the streets of Chicago, and our City Council treated the heinous act as if it were just another bad day in the ghetto. http://www.suntimes.com/18882777-761/mitchell-people-should-get-angry-over-gangs-killing-innocent-people.html
This actually better than Las Vegas. Black on Black crime is rampant but the local politicians, like Ricki Barlow, Lawrence Weekly, Carolyn Goodman and other leaders in the poor areas are so silent when it comes to talking about black on black crime.
Meanwhile, while Barlow and Weeks have completely have completely silent on Black on Black on crime. and the Betty Pinkney murder is still unsolved, in part because the weasels, Barlow and weekly, have stayed silent. These two morons would rather schmooze with drug dealers, gang members and other thugs than comment on Black on Black on crime.
Maybe, the Black community in Las Vegas would elect people who are not thugs, unlike Steven Brooks, Barlow and Weeks, who are thugs.
