Welcome To Sunny Las Vegas

Not this cold, but close
This week is NASCAR week in Las Vegas, where about 200,000 visitors and participants come to Vegas to enjoy the warmth of the desert sun.
Today, it snowed, rained and hailed and down at the track the temperature was 42 degrees at about 1:00.
It hailed so hard in Henderson that my daughter's school had to keep the kids in class during the hail storm.  Wimps.
They cancelled qualifying for the Sprint race for Sunday and hopefully the rain will stay away  tomorrow when the Sam's Town 300 Nationwide is held.
We'll be at the 2 races and we sitting in the so called cheap seats, 10 rows up, about 100 feet from the start-finish line.
My wife is going to try and make it because on Wednesday, she tripped and fell chasing our dog and she sprained her foot really bad.  Maybe a little extra booze will help her get through this weekend.
So, come Sunday night, I may be a little hard of hearing and dizzy from watching the cars come at us at 190 MPH.
