Good Bye Striking Worker's Jobs

Going on strike in Las Vegas during an economic downturn, when there is about 15% unemployment is just plain stupid.
From the LVRJ: The day after a federal mediation session went nowhere, both sides in the 5-day-old taxi drivers strike ratcheted up the pressure amid indications that another cab company faces labor difficulties.
Yellow Checker Star Transportation started on Thursday the process of what Chief Operating Officer Bill Shranko called the "replacement of strikers" with new hires.
He said that the company, with the second-largest fleet in Las Vegas, would take a couple of days to identify which drivers had walked out and replace them by reverse seniority, with those having the least time going first. If the company decided at some point to call back the replaced drivers, those with the highest seniority would return first, he said.  http://www.lvrj.com/business/both-sides-in-taxi-drivers-strike-ratchet-up-pressure-196226961.html
So, what will the union say to the workers who are now out of a job?  What will they say when these cabbies will not get unemployment compensation?  What will the union say to the fired cabbies when they won't be hired by other companies because of their union involvement and stupidity?
Oh, the union will say, stay strong, while the union leaders collect fat pay checks and benefits.
Stupid union members following union leaders like lemmings.
