Tragedy In Florida

A major school shooting has occurred in Parkland, Florida with about 7 people killed.
From the U.K. Daily Mail:  A suspected gunman has been arrested after opening fire on a Florida high school, leaving as many as seven dead and up to 50 injured.
The 'heavily armed' shooter, named by police sources to DailyMail.com as former student Nicolas de Jesus Cruz, 19, entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, armed with what appears to be an assault rifle, and began shooting at just after 2pm.
least 14 victims' although he did not specify whether they had been injured or killed. Florida Senator Bill Nelson told Fox News there were 'many deaths'.
Sources told CBS at least seven people had been confirmed dead.
Students barricaded themselves into their classrooms, while others were seen running out of the building with their hands in their air as police and SWAT teams swarmed the school. Those fleeing the school, in single file, each threw their backpack into a large pile and huddled together under trees across the street.
At around 4pm, two hours after the shooter first opened fire, police and SWAT teams took him into custody. Police describe him as a student and a former member of the U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program.
I cannot imagine the horror the families are going through.
May God bless those involved and prayers to the families, friends, first responders and school employees.
Update: The murderer is named Nicholas Cruz.  He is under arrest and with no apparent injuries. He was not a student at the school.
My guess is that the number of people killed is going to be higher than the 7 being reported.
12 people were killed in the school, 2 just outside the school 1 close to the school and 2 died in the hospitals.
The suspect was taken to the hospital and now is being transferred to the Broward County jail with about a 10 vehicle convoy.
The thug apparently has a fascination with guns.
Per Fox News, he had some kind of relationship with a Syrian resistance group.
Fox News is reporting there is at least 16 people killed.
Update 2: The sheriff now says 17 people have died.
The thug shooter is 19 years old and had been expelled from the school.
