From the LVRJ: Richard F. Boulware II, a federal public defender in Las Vegas, was nominated by President Barack Obama Thursday to become a U.S. District judge in Nevada.
“He’s the man,” said Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., who proposed the attorney to the White House after considering candidates for the post. Boulware also met the approval of Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev.
Asked what he liked about Boulware, Reid said, “Everything.”
Boulware, 45, is an assistant attorney at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Las Vegas, and a former officer in the Las Vegas chapter of the NAACP. http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/obama-nominates-las-vegas-public-defender-boulware-federal-judge
There are three problems with this guys nomination:
1. He is a public defender. See the post below about an idiot public defender in Ohio who cried about a thug being killed in an execution. I think public defenders/defense attorney's should be barred from being a judge.
2. Senile/Liar/Coward Harry Reid loves this guy. That ought to raise huge red flags up.
3. This guy has is not from Nevada and has only spent a few years here. He doesn't know Nevada and it's issues like other potential candidates do
So, for those 3 reasons, Boulware's nomination needs some very careful scrutiny.
