Queastion: What Do Reno, NV and Green Bay, WI. Have In Common?

If you combine the populations of Green Bay, WI. (104,057) and Reno. NV. (220,500), you will still be short by 75,443, the number of people filing for unemployment for the first time in the past week.
And yet, Democrats like Harry Reid will say this is an improvement:

  1. The economy is miserable. The consensus was that it would get worse, so the awful fact that it's treading water counts as good news.

    Pity we spent the summer creating a debt ceiling fight instead of doing something to actually improve the economy.

    While we're recovering, it's far too slow.

  2. I agree with you there, Scott. At best, we are treading water, and when you listen to the news reports today, some are painting a rosy picture that things are getting better and they are not.
    And this not all Obama's fault, I also blame some on Bush, more on the congressional leaders of the GOP.
    Right now, there is no real difference between Reid and ?McConnell and Pelosi and Boehner. And Obama is no different than any of them.
