While the United States is occupied with Michael Jackson's death, this has been a very bad week for coalition soldiers in Afghanistan. 10 soldiers were killed on Monday, from the U.S. and the the U.K. http://cnnwire.blogs.cnn.com/2009/07/07/u-s-troop-death-in-afghanistan-follows-deadly-day/
Remember, this is Obama's war. When things like this happened during the Bush administration, there was marching in the streets.
But now, because it is Obama's war, the left and anti-war crowd are silent. Can we say hypocrites?
That is not to say, Obama's strategy is bad, I am leaving that up to the Generals, not Obama. But I just find it hypocritical of the left to stay silent. Lap dogs.
