Baby Killer
From the Las Vegas Sun:
A Georgia teenager convicted of fatally shooting a baby in a stroller while trying to rob the child's mother was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without parole.
De'Marquise Elkins, 18, was sentenced in Georgia's Glynn County Superior Court less than two weeks after a jury found him guilty of murder in the slaying of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago.
And so where are the Black racists who supported and marched for Trayvon Martin, why haven't they marched for this White baby who was killed in cold blood by this thug?

ReplyDeleteThere are far too many disgusting crimes in this country every day. This is one of them. But I don't understand your need to find a counterweight to the Trayvon Martin case, and turn every murder by a black person into its equivalent. What's the deal?
ReplyDeleteThe Martin case sparked outrage because Zimmerman was turned loose after killing an unarmed kid. And for weeks, he wasn't charged. That was an outrageous response. But again, do you see liberals jumping to THIS killer's defense? Starting a legal defense fund for him? Everyone on both sides of the political aisle would find this crime disgusting. It's just not a good analogy.
Whether or not Martin was a "thug," Zimmerman didn't know that or know him. It's an irrelevant part of the story. At the time of his death, the kid didn't have a weapon, wasn't in a place he didn't belong, and wasn't guilty of anything. And again, the outrage was that there wasn't an arrest, and there was a shoddy investigation.
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way, the right glorified Zimmerman and made him into a hero. I haven's seen that ANYWHERE on ANY of the cases the right is trying to transform into the yin to the Trayvon Martin yang.
