Why Aren't The Liberals Protesting High Gas Prices?

Remember when George Bush was president and we had some gas prices that got up to around $3 a gallon.
Yeah, I remember- Blood for oil was a favorite line the left used.
Now that we have record gas prices, where are the left's protests?  Why haven't they complained that the gas prices are hurting the poor and middle income?  Hell, they aren't even complaining about the profits of the oil companies, that were supposedly obscene under Bush.
Why the silence, liberals?

  1. Um, Dan? Gas prices got up past $4.50 in 2008. I know, because I got married in Palm Springs in June of '08, and prices there got to about $4.75 at the time. Not $3. Anyway, there was a bit of sniping, but it really didn't get very far. And then prices plunged with the financial crash. And now, YOUR side is acting like the crash price was normal! Gas has doubled, they say. . .yeah, since the CRASH! I think it would serve both sides well to back away, and distance themselves from gas prices. We all hate it, but it is neither side's fault, really. Except if one side should FIX it.
