Maybe If He Went To Intelligence Meetings, He Wouldn't Be So Stupid

Maybe Obama didn't want to know.
President Obama, for whatever reason, has chosen not to go to Intelligence/Security meetings.  Perhaps, if he did, he wouldn't be so stupid on the issue of Libyan.
From Fox News: President Obama said Friday he was "not personally aware" of any request for more security by U.S. diplomats in Libya before the Sept. 11 strike on the consulate.
The president addressed questions about those requests during an interview on "The Michael Smerconish Show." Several weeks ago, former security officers testified on Capitol Hill that they had sought additional protection in the months leading up to the attack -- further, a recently released cable from Ambassador Chris Stevens himself on the day of the attack noted "growing problems with security" in Benghazi.
"I was not personally aware of any request," Obama said Friday, adding that there is an "infrastructure" in place to "manage requests."
"I was not personally aware of any request".  Well, if he went to meetings, maybe he would have been aware.
But, maybe he didn't want to know what was going on so he couldn't be held personally responsible.  Plausible deniability must be Obama's M.O..

  1. Actually, the "intelligence meetings" you're talking about were arranged for Dubya because he didn't like to read briefings. President Obama gets briefings. He's not skipping meetings, they're not HAVING meetings to skip. Now of course if there's an emergency, there's the situation room. But the prez gets security briefings. This whole talking point is a canard.
