Obama's Chicago: Teen Killed Outside School By Robbers

From the Chicago Tribune: A Chicago high school student was shot and killed during an attempted robbery this afternoon outside the school in the Southeast Side’s Jeffery Manor neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
The victim was identified as Terrance Wright, of the 5000 block of South Carpenter Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. The 18-year-old, a senior at Banner Academy South High School, was leaving the school in the 2300 block of East 99th Street about 3:40 p.m. when he was approached by five would-be robbers, police said.

The victim fought back when one assailant rifled through his pockets and was shot in the chest, police said. He was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Police were talking to two persons of interest.

Unfortunately, Wright was not the only one killed on Friday night.  At least 3 other men were killed and many more were killed in a typical Friday night in Chicago.
This is Obama's Chicago.
