From the Denver Post:
Former President George H.W. Bush shaved his head in solidarity with 2-year-old son of a member of his 20 person security detail.
The young boy, named Patrick, is undergoing treatment for leukemia and has lost his hair. He was diagnosed this spring.
The 89-year-old Bush donated money to the cause and even volunteered to shave his head, according to Bush spokesman Jim McGrath.
It was a member of Bush's security team that had the honor of shaving the former president's head.
"Now they all look the same," said McGrath. "It's hard to tell them all apart."
Patrick's father, Jon, is a member of the Bush Protective Division.
"The family requested that their surname be withheld," said McGrath.
Patrick's prognosis is good, and to help with medical bills a website has been set up for those who would like to donate to the cause: www.patrickspals.org.
Meanwhile talks about himself, will go on another expensive vacation in a couple of days and looks in the mirror and says "mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of all?"
